Well I do have to admit since I've last been here they've definitely fixed a lot of their games and added some new games but not much. To be honest it's a very old arcade that needs a refresh bad. Most of the games are fixed half assed and look very terrible. A lot of blurry monitors or screen is going out but hey the games work lol. I took a lot of pictures of most of the arcade and most of the nonworking games please look at them if you need to see what is not working. There's a game in here that cost two dollars. My favorite game is now $.30 which is OK in the groove 2. I only come here to dance on the machine and exercise. They're price selection doesn't seem much. Bottom line if your kid never goes to arcades and doesn't play the latest games they'll probably enjoy themselves. Or if you're just trying to save a buck this is a great place to go. Sadly one of the basketball games doesn't count your score unfortunately. I'm not sure why the Darren owner would have purchased this place if he's not going to make a real effort into improving the arcade. Apparently they don't offer the season pass anymore either. And I guess you could go online and find a coupon. So hey I guess you're can go try it for free. But if you can't afford three dollars for an entry fee when I doubt you can afford the games LOL.

    Screen is super clear!

I came here in search of DDR machines in the area, but found In The Groove 2 (technically 3) instead! They let you put your own mixes on the machine so there are over 9500 different songs to choose from. The staff are super cool and the machine itself is in perfect condition. A+ for the gigantic fan for those of us who play constantly All in all, my new favorite dance location!

I like arcades, but I'll breakdown why this was not my favorite. Broken Games that Look Like They Work: There were a number of games, the sniper game, hook pinball, a spider attack shooter game, and a few others that accepted our nickles but didn't work at all. Clearly broken or Out Of Order Games: There is a joke corner of games that are unplugged and a handful of out of order arcades, which is disappointing to say the least. Arcades with No Tickets: At least two games ran out of tickets while we were playing them, it kinda took the fun out of playing those games. Bathroom from a Horror Movie: The bathroom smelled like vomit and I am not exaggerating. Not pleasant to say the least. We had a fun group, but if you are looking for a quality arcade, this isn't your best option.

Are you kidding me? Even the ticket machine is out of ink!

She was so patient with us, helped us decide where to start, and was wonderful with my kids (who are on the spectrum). We ended up doing Alien Aptitude, Squid Game, and the escape room. We actually left and came back in the same day because we liked it so much. It's in a great location at the mall so parking is easy and there are plenty of nearby food options. Lockers were free which was really nice for us. I would suggest leaving any jackets or hoodies in the locker if possible since you can get warm moving around. Each game is in its own box and you can have up to 6 players. We had three and there was plenty of room to move around, I don't know if I'd like 6 players in one room especially if they were all adults. Let's talk about the games. You get a visor with antenna on it and this tracks where you are in the box which allows you to interact with what's happening on the screens/walls. It takes a second to get used to but Alien Aptitude is a good place to start to help you get used to the dynamics. If you step toward the front screen you will move up. Stepping back toward the door will move you down on the main screen. This one I think is fun for all ages and is basically mini games and puzzles. Next we did Squid Game which was more challenging and also fun. It has the familiar scenes and sounds from the show so my teenagers really liked it. Lastly, my youngest and I did the escape room while my middle boy decided to walk around the mall for a bit. This was the first time we've done a virtual escape room but we've done tons of standard escape rooms so it was semi familiar. You touch the walls in this experience more so than the other two games we played. You move through rooms by touching doorways and you open objects by touching them. It has mini games incorporated into the escape room so you're still solving puzzles and being active. It was challenging and fun and we made it out in less than an hour. Bottom line is that this place is a great place to burn off some energy while using your brain and that's a good combination in my opinion. The pricing is reasonable and you might even be able to find a discount code online. If you're in the area and you're still unsure, just stop by and talk to one of the wonderful employees. I know they would be happy to show you what it's all about!

We were all in one room and it was a bit cramped. We kept bumping into each other while trying to play the games. The thing on our heads acted as a remote, so we had to move around the room a lot (which was fun). When playing ghostbusters, we got to the "final boss" and everyone in our party got a chance to fight him except my 12-year-old and myself. I felt bad for her. I wish everyone was able to have a turn. At the and of everything, I think this wasn't a good fit for us. It was a lot of money and not as fun as I had hoped. It would be a lot more fun for younger kids and smaller families.

The party was in a shared party room and at first we were the only one. So it felt like a really intimate private event and we were able to play our music like we wanted to, and then toward the end of our party we had to share the space a little bit. But with the party package the hostess secured we received unlimited drinks from the fountain machine, pizza, and salad. They provided all of the dishes and cleaned up. The birthday child also received a giant card available to be signed by the guests. I don't know if this was just something that our hostess secured or if it's normally an option but she was also able to get passes with a $5 (or so) arcade card for $20 a person. The pass gave us access to unlimited activities and we could reload our arcade card if we wished. Of the activities that I recall are: Laser tag (So fun for adults and kids!), bumper cars, bumper boats, mini golf, bowling, rock climbing, and racing cars (I can't remember the actual name of it). We were not there for long enough to get to do anything more than once because we wanted to experience so much, then I bet if we went back and we went in at open we would be able to enjoy a lot. There's also a food area should you want to buy food or lunch while you are there. I don't know the rules on exiting and re-entering.

Between the arcade, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, and other attractions, there's plenty to keep families entertained for hours. We did try hosting a birthday party here once, and unfortunately the party room experience wasn't very well organized. The room setup, food service, and overall hosting didn't meet our expectations, so we decided we'd rather just come back and enjoy the attractions on our own instead of booking another event. Even so, it's still a great family destination, and we'll definitely continue visiting for the fun activities.

I reached out to Fat Cats, and someone from their events department contacted me almost immediately. They walked me through every option--bowling times, shoe rentals, food packages, menu choices, how many each package would feed, and all the available add-ons. Everything was clearly explained, itemized, and incredibly easy to understand. A week after booking, more family members decided to come, so I needed to make some changes. Their events team handled everything seamlessly without missing a beat. Their customer service is truly five-star. When we arrived, there was a large welcome sign with our family name on it, which made everyone feel special. Our bowling lanes were ready to go, decorated, and waiting for us. The food arrived fresh, hot, and delicious, and everyone loved it. Most importantly, my kids, grandkids, my wife, and the rest of the family had an amazing time. Fat Cats made the entire experience effortless and memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better family reunion. Five stars to Fat Cats and their entire team.
