Updated review! Since leaving this review, the bathrooms and overall business itself has been very clean and tidy. I would recommend coming here and expecting to have a unique and wonderful time!

Service was good, the manager was very helpful and so was the staff with questions about how things work. Typical arcade with flashing lights and video game sounds. They have your typical arcade food but a quite a few Japanese options which is interesting but this is a Japanese arcade. Bowl of Ramen is kinda near to see. Place is clean. I agree with others, games are kinda pricey for kids. But no different from a Dave & Busters.

I always love round 1. So many great plush options specially now more than ever. I love the fighting game options too, though i think they levers and buttons could use some replacing.

NAVY IS THE BEST!!! Our service was incredible and she was an excellent and attentive staff member. She deserves a raise!!!

Karaoke Room 3: Our song :)

This review is about their Karaoke section upstairs. With help from Celeste T., my Yelp SLC Bestie, her review encouraged me to not order food or drinks, and to download the app prior to paying for the karaoke Room use. We went on a Tuesday night and there were two karaoke rooms in use at the time. We were assigned to Karaoke Room 3 which holds about 12 people. From what I could see through the glass doors, the smaller karaoke rooms have a comfortable couch. Karaoke Room 3 had three classroom style tables with four plastic chairs at each table. Not the most comfortable in my humble opinion. I strongly suggest that you become familiar with the app ahead of time, to maximize use of the time you paid for the room. You don't want to waste time searching for songs in the app when you could be singing. The audio quality was sufficient. You are allowed to make adjustments to audio. As for the visual portion, it's just words on the screen and zero pictures, videos, or scenery while you sing. That was kind of boring :( The walls between karaoke rooms are not thick. You can hear the singers next to you. That could be distracting for some. You can also hear the bowling alley from Karaoke Room 3. Note: they will hold on to your driver's license until you return the two mics they loaned you from the check in counter.

Cool lighting and well maintained lanes.

I was in heaven. Large arcade downstairs with all kinds of cool games and bowling alley upstairs. We walked around the arcade first. It's done by tokens and you win points that can be turned in for fun prizes. Then we went upstairs and bought two rounds of bowling which included the shoes. Unheard of! There was a bar area and a food area and an ice cream area. I went to the ice cream area and bought two waters for an actually affordable price. (i'm just beaten down by the insane prices of the silicon valley) Daughter and I had a great time bowling. Next time, we'll have to remember to put up the bumper guards since I had way too many gutter balls and we didn't care about the score. Remember to rack your bowling balls, please, when you're done. It helps the staff and others looking for balls.

I love to come here to play the claw machine games! They have the cutest Japanese toys, and you can actually win here! I also like the other arcade games and coin pusher games they offer. This arcade is a fancier version of Dave and Busters! The only downside is that it's quite expensive, but the more credits you buy the better deal you get! Also, I've never seen anyone clean the machines while people are here, so I'm not sure how clean it is during the day... Late nights: They also check your ID card at night, so make sure you bring your ID cards and are of legal age (unless you have a guardian over 25 years old with you!)

Does Round1 offer karaoke right now? If so what time does it open until?

It is open from 10 am to 2 am. They charge by the hour

    What age group for kids?

I don't know the specific ages, but to help a little bit: 10PM is when kids unaccompanied by an adult have to leave 18 or older (I believe) is allowed to be there. Then once midnight hits its 21+. Prior to 10PM, I think it's all ages. 🙂 I hope that…

I want to come work here! The food was really good, and really expensive! Our bill was $145 for the two of us. Our server Jaxson was really knowledgeable on the menu, and really friendly. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house as all the burlesque dancers move around the space. Be prepared with some ones to tip them, but they also take Venmo. I'd love to come back!

Sad to say, I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about…read more We had to sit outside because the indoor dining room was fully booked for the show. The night actually started off great. Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.

This bar is near and dear to my heart. They have an amazing menu that includes a full vegan menu,…read morethey have a great beer selection, the staff is always ridiculously friendly, the prices are reasonable, there's a beautiful patio, and karaoke 3 days a week! What else could anyone want? My boyfriend and I frequently come in for karaoke. They do karaoke Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. The karaoke DJs are really great and if you're new, they always go out of their way to get you in the line up fast. So don't hesitate to sign up if you see a big list! For all you know, it's the same regulars that have filled the whole list but the DJ would love to get a fresh face on the stage and you will most surely get bumped up the list. One of the benefits of having a real karaoke DJ and not using one of the online services. They're doing more and more poker tournaments. I want to say that it's Sunday but honestly, I would call and ask about it if you're interested because it seems like they add a new poker tournament every week. Wednesday night, they do $1 wings. You can split the wings among different flavors. It's a great night to come for a cheap meal. Also the draft steins are super cheap. I can't remember the actual price but they're less than $10, I want to say they're $7 or something. If you're looking for high point beer, I wouldn't go off the menu. I would ask the bartender what they have in stock. It frequently changes and its hard to keep the paper menu updated. I have literally never had a bad meal here. So it's a great value if you're in the area and just looking for some affordable bar food. They also have a really great brunch which I feel like is super underrated. I usually do their avocado toast and a beer. My only complaint? The pool table. Yes they have a pool table but it was such an after thought, you can barely make a shot because there's so many things in the way and the floor is uneven. I'm not a pool shark or anything so it's fine to me but I could see how a regular pool player might get annoyed. Honestly I feel like it's more entertaining to play on this comically arranged pool table. I've played pool in way smaller rooms with fewer impediments, lol. I thought long and hard about whether this place should be classified as a dive bar, and honestly, the quality of the menu makes me think it's not. I have never been to a dive bar with a vegan menu. I could see how walking in you might get that impression but they don't tolerate too much rowdiness. In fact, my loud friend who tends to yell when he drinks because he's been to too many metal shows and is hard of hearing couldn't get in. The bouncer said he was too drunk. They have a school pretty close by so the bouncers are pretty discerning. That said, this is one of the few bars where I feel really safe as a woman, and trust me, it's filled with thirsty guys who will happily pick you up.

They had lots of "bar" games like pool, darts, etc. And later the same night there was karaoke. What I did like is that they didn't have a problem splitting up the check for our table. They took our credit cards up front so they could keep a tab for each of us. However, the person who took our information and the person who took are order were not the same people. That in itself wasn't a problem, but when we went to order our actual food they could only find the information for one person in our party despite taking the credit card info for 3 of us. I am not really sure what the others in my group ordered, but I do know that I did NOT like what I ordered. First, it said on their Facebook page that the Wagyu burger was on special for the night, but they did not honor that. So, I decided on the rosemary garlic burger instead with a sub of onion rings instead of fries. Now... the burger looks delicious in the photo and it was juicy and the veggies nice and fresh. However, it did not taste good. It was an overwhelming flavor of rosemary and raw garlic and I did not enjoy it at all. Plus, my onion rings were burnt. Even my kiddo at home who eats most everything did not like this burger. My daughter ordered the Alamo brownie for dessert and it was supposed to come with caramel, chocolate sauce, and ice cream, but hers only came with chocolate sauce. The server may have been new and she said it came with a choice of one of those things and not all three. $10 for a brownie with chocolate sauce was robbery! The long and short of it, collectively we did not enjoy the food here and do not plan to come back again. There are too many other good bars with good food to waste our time and money here.
