It's best for one or two people, although a small group of three or four could certainly go. If you're looking for something casual and straightforward, it works. My problem is with two things: what happened during payment and the complete lack of accountability afterward. I ordered takeout for $18.25. The employee handling my payment entered a $2.04 tip on the iPad himself, turned it toward me and said, "just sign." I did not authorize that tip. My receipt clearly shows "TIPS: $2.04." Yes, it's only $2.04. The amount isn't the point. An employee should not be deciding how much a customer is going to tip. What bothers me just as much is what happened afterward. I called twice and left messages. I then emailed management/ownership with the receipt and documentation and gave them an opportunity to simply refund the $2.04. No call. No email. No response. Employees can make mistakes or bad decisions. Management's responsibility is to address the problem when it's brought to their attention. Ignoring the customer only makes it worse. And please don't respond now with a generic "We're sorry you feel this way" or "Please contact us." I already contacted you multiple times. If you're going to respond publicly, address what actually happened. Good donuts. Simple, basic atmosphere. Bad payment experience. Even worse accountability afterward. My advice: keep your receipt and compare it with what actually posts to your card.

On the way out I remarked "your server couldn't just walk an extra ten steps?" She had no words except to storm away nearly plowing over my mom. Not accommodating the elderly is disrespectful. Having one server on a Sunday morning is a service failure that your customers should never have to pay for with rudeness and disrespect. Her business has not been doing well for a decade and it's evident in the upkeep of her establishment. There is a musty smell in her carpet, and as a staunch advocate for women's businesses my entire 30+ career helping build hundreds of women owned businesses with my marketing services, she should consider hiring proper staff and making over the dilapidated interior and exterior and treating people kindly. This is not a business for people who operate on rage, nerves and anger. At this point she's only keeping the business open for income and not to properly serve her community. As a Litchfield resident for 20+ years we deserve better than this mess. I suggest people read how they insulted customers in the other post 3 days ago-- calling them "karens."
