2 eggs over easy, potatoes and rye toast.

Everything. Excellent service and food. Very accommodating and price was fantastic. Not much seating. We have lived in Torrington and never knew about this treasure. Highly recommend

Bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll

Went there for and bacon eggs and cheese on a hard roll, it was about 7 bucks. I think it's the best egg and cheese in Torrington. The salads looked great too. Only thing is it's great for takeout because the restaurant is super small. It's super hard to get a table sat and sun in the morning. I recommend this small business with amazing food. Service fast and staff was friendly.

Cute little breakfast spot. Unassuming strip mall exterior but dont be fooled the food is great and very affordable prices! We asked for our homefries well done and they were nice and crispy on all sides. I could have used more seasoning but I guess they want the customer to choose their salt level.

BE PREPARED TO WAIT 45MIN. If you're willing to wait for some awesome tasting, filling, fresh, hot off the griddle breakfast this is the place to be!!!!!!!! The place is very small and cozy. It's a spot that only the locals would know about. When I first approached this place I was a little skeptical. The place was relatively busy but the lady was super sweet and nice. We went hungry so we ordered a lot of food. This place has only one cook and it's Angie herself! You can tell she cooks dang good! We offered their churro French toast which was yumm-O! I ordered the veggie omelette with home fries and one lemon blueberry pancake. The home fries had the best crisp to them and plenty of flavor. Thank goodness I only got 1 pancake because it was the size of the plate. My husband got corn beef hash with eggs over easy. The hash was right on the money. Fresh not greasy and nice heaping for the sunny side up eggs. The food is so good! I'm glad this place is far from me because if I lived closer I would be a regular. One thing I would say that kind of bugged me was how she cleaned the tables. I had to wipe it down my on my side to make sure I felt comfortable. But that won't stop me if I'm ever that direction

They're always fresh and very good size. It looks like any typical donut shop that you've been to. Nothing really stands out except that really intense smell of FRESHNESS. So good in the air. Three service is also always great. They're so kind and genuine here. Always great hospitality and very nice people serving you. They have some deal that they sell you the donuts at a discounted rate after like 5 or 6 o'clock . Something like that. I was so surprised that they offer this. I still remember the first time here when they told me about that and I took advantage of it and bought more than I originally planned on getting. I think it's a great concept I've never encountered elsewhere and think more donut places should adopt their truly great concept. Makes sense instead of throwing donuts away at the end of the day. Almost forgot to mention their coffee. It's so good for just a donut shop. It has such rich full body taste. Such a great place to frequent. Love you people here :-)

It was not my jam but could work for some. They offer real maple syrup from the White family for a $1.00 charge. I do not know if my MAPLE _________ latte had it or not, but it was too legit to quit. Not too sweet either. Clear maple taste. Whole milk requested. Served in a mug with quality java. RATING = A. The interior is country quaint basic and not going overboard but rather erring simple and open without crowding with stuff. The location is great at the bottom of the slope in downtown. APPLE FRITTER with MAPLE GLAZE: -- I would have preferred a plain cake donut or old-fashioned cake with maple glaze, but this was good -- semi-firm -- medium-sized -- moderate amount of maple glaze has authentic color and taste -- not a sugar bomb -- dark color to bread -- not soft inside, medium-soft inside -- up to medium sweet -- not oily or greasy, tastes more on "slightly" healthy style RATING = A- SFOGLIATELLE pastry: -- this clam shell looking pastry is filled with sweet ricotta cheese -- moderate amount of cheese -- lightly sweet -- tasty -- bread is semi-firm -- I am more of a Zeppole fan, but this is good RATING = A They have bags of Ethiopian coffee which is funny because everywhere we go we see Ethiopian coffee for sale lately. We both have fairly stressful jobs, one being a correctional officer and the other an emergency nurse. We were really looking forward to a few drinks to unwind. My wife respectively with her hearing issue, discreetly put small pieces of tissue in her ears and we continued with our night. The "bartender/owner??" came over and yelled to my wife "oh lighten up! What's your problem? You come in here acting like a big grizzly bear (wife weighs 120 pounds) with this badass attitude, why don't you get out of my fucking bar!!!" Literally grabs our drinks, smashes the glasses behind the bar, I look at her and ask if she's serious and I offer to pay for our drinks and she told us to "GET THE FUCK OUT AND DONT COME BACK!"... neither of us have honestly ever been kicked out of a bar! Lol PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, so many other friendlier establishments in town. Don't waste your time or money!

They bake everything in house, with specials on some days (e.g. Sweet Bun Sunday). The selection is vast, especially considering that everything is scratch made in-house. Aromas are enticing! We picked up an orange cranberry dream bar, studded with plenty of white chocolate chips, coconut, and dried cranberries, topped with orange cream cheese frosting and more dried cranberries. It was *enormous* and easily served as dessert for four. Also in our order: a streusel topped blueberry cake, as moist as could be and filled with fresh blueberries. It was also generously proportioned, large enough for at least two. We didn't try any salads, breakfast platters, or sandwiches on this visit, but they looked fantastic, based on what I saw on other customers' plates. I found that the super friendly owners are of Lebanese descent when I asked about the Lebanese baklava at checkout -- and evidently, they sometimes have Lebanese meat pies on offer! I cannot wait to come back to try every Lebanese food item they have, since my family is passionately fond of the cuisine (and really, everything else, too). I had no idea such riches could be found in Torrington! You can't throw a rock without hitting an Italian-American in this town -- not that I would ever throw a rock at an Italian-American :) -- but this is the first I've heard of a Lebanese-American contingent in these parts. What a WONDERFUL little throw-back of a diner! The servers are absolutely charming (thank you to…read morethe beautiful, jewelry-making Christina), pricing is circa 1995, there's a great children's menu -- and there is clearly some skill in this kitchen, generally. I love that you get unlimited refills on coffee ($2), which was actually quite decent by diner standards. Where else can you find that nowadays?! Eggs were well prepared and fluffy across the board. I loved that my veggie omelet ($8.75) came generously filled with sauteed mushrooms, sweet peppers, and onions. It came with toast and a side of either fruit or home fries. The multigrain, which our server disclosed was from a bakery in NY, was fresh, well slathered with butter, and far better than it had to be as a non-headline component of the meal. Home fries were beautifully seasoned, though I do prefer mine a little more browned. Fruit salad on our visit included a slice of melon, a few grapes and a slice of orange. Our eight year old got a children's meal with one egg, home fries, toast and juice ($4.50). She enjoyed her fluffy scrambled eggs, which she ate sandwiched between two halves of a generously buttered English muffin. My only nitpick: You could taste a touch of margarine in the eggs, which I personally detest. Still, the food was head and shoulders better than (and half as expensive as) anything you can find at Mohawk Mountain, where we are usually resigned to grub. We are so, so thrilled to find this sweet little place a hop and a skip away from the mountain. It's a perfect place to refuel after early morning ski practice!
