Avoid this place! They do poor work and do not stand behind it. I paid them $250 to do a stereo install on June 16th 2021. They got the stereo installed with backup camera but it certainly didn't look professional. They left wiring hanging over the pedals and the steering wheel controls no longer work. My wife said she could live without the steering wheel controls so I secured the wiring and moved on. 2 months later the radio doesn't power on at all. I told the wife to take it back to Nicho's and see what happened. They told her because she didn't have a paper receipt they wouldn't even look at it without charging a $55 shop fee. My wife called me and I spoke to their installer. He said he would take a quick look at it. He pushed a few buttons and nothing happened. He said they'd need to charge a $55 fee. I drove to Nicho's and spoke with the receptionist and the installer. I told them they had two options available. They look at the install and if it was a loose crimp or connection they need to fix it. If the radio is defective that would be on me. If they wouldn't fix it and I found a flaw in their workmanship I'd let everyone know about it. Well here I am typing this review. I pulled the radio out in their parking lot and found a battery power wire was crimped incorrectly and wasn't even in the connector. It still had 12 volts to it which means they didn't install a fuse. This loose battery wire could've burned our van to the ground! These people have no business working with electricity. I informed the receptionist and installer about what I found. All I got was a shoulder shrug and was told have a good day. If you're looking to have any work done to your vehicle look elsewhere! Unless you want to burn your vehicle to the ground give them a call then. read more

I'm looking to replace a wiring harness on my car. It's a 2014 Chevy Spark. I called up here the day before to confirm they had the part I'm looking for. I made sure I was specific with the details of the part I needed because I had already gone thru the trouble of ordering the wrong part on Amazon. The man on the phone confirmed they had the part I needed, (he specifically said, "we have 5 in stock" and that the part cost $25) so when I drove the 40 minutes to their store I was sure I would be leaving with the right part. Upon arrival at Nichos in Conroe, the moment I told the front desk girl my part, she tried shooing us out of the shop. She said they don't have that part and tried to get us promptly to leave without asking anyone else in the store. Mind you, I was being totally polite for this entire encounter. I explained to her that I had just called the day before and that whoever was on the phone confirmed they had the part. So she finally grabs another coworker who promptly tried to upsell me on a $250 part that I didn't even need. They wouldn't do anything to find this part for me because it was 3:30PM on a Friday and they don't care about their clients. Both attendants at the front desk talked to me like I was an idiot and obviously showed their unwillingness to do any kind of work. These folks are liars, lazy and losing my business forever. I hope they mess up on their taxes and get audited. read more

Stoped by on a Tuesday afternoon to get a new radio installed. Walked in and they had my truck in the shop within 2 minutes. Installed perfectly, looks good, and works perfect. Been here a few other times for a sub and some speaker installs as well. Never had any issues. read more

For a business to be a GOOD business it has to provide more than sales to their customers. I went to this unit a few months ago to BUY and have installed a new AM/ AF/ HD/ Bluetooth/ CD/ SAT unit. I told the salesperson the make and model, he went out to look at the existing unit. He returned to and said I have the right unit and took out a Pioneer and I asked for a backup camera, he wrote it up and the total bill was over $800+. Without hesitation I paid for the items, they took the vehicle and proceeded to the equipment. From the 1st day to today the AM band did not work. I enjoy talk radio but did not get that option because it seems it was installed wrong. Yesterday, I went back to the store. After a short wait the same salesperson came out an asked what he could do for me. I explained that the AM band did not receive any AM station. He seemed not to believe me, and I asked to go and check for his self. Upon his return he said "The FM works" I replied I wasn't there for the FM I wanted the AM fixed. He then shifted his tactics and asked for my sales receipt, because if I did not have that he would have to charge me a fee. I said I bought this here and can you check your records the reply: "We don't keep records." I told him I did not think I had it, but I would look. I asked why they couldn't just "check the connections to see if that is connection correctly?" Not without the receipt. I said thanks for DOING ABSOLUTLY nothing and left the store. I went to the car, found the receipt and returned to the store. I was met by the salesperson, and the manager and more human resources standing around. When I showed the receipt, from his store, he said I won't service the unit because you were rude. To which I said you asked for the receipt, I got it for you and NOW you won't fix it because I was rude. Correct was the reply. I have come to understand he could NOT fix it because he didn't have a clue HOW to fix it. Bottomline, do not WASTE your time or MONEY on this shoddy location. They produce slip-shod work, won't fix what they screw up and want to have a superior attitude all at the same time. You would be better off at Best BUY [ cheaper too I think] . They stand behind their work without all the chest pounding and hurt feelings. IF I had known this store was managed like a high school girls club, I would have gone anywhere else. Outstanding customer service and quality work to match. Brought my truck in for window tint, explained my different options and answered all of my questions. Got me in quick and everyone was nice and super professional. I will be coming back for my other vehicles to have windows tinted. Also will be recommending Nicho's to friends and family. read more

Has to be the very worst company to deal with in the Conroe area. Took 2 vehicles here for tint work. Both turned out terrible - full of bubbles with scratches on the glass that didn't exist before they started working on it. Nicho said he would make it right. I provided the key to the storage unit where one of the vehicles was parked, and they were to get it fixed asap for me. 30 days later, the tint still isn't fixed. They just peeled the tint off and never replaced it. Demanded refund on all. Quick, sloppy job and no pride in their work. The little bit of a discount isn't worth the hassle or poor quality you will get from this company. read more

Let me just say TERRIBLE SERVICE. Just listing a few things that happened when I brought my truck into Nicho's... stolen $350 sub amp, broken plastic cover that was temporarily fixed so I wouldn't see it, and a botched back up camera job. Had all windows tinted in new 2013 ford fusion - waited almost 2 hours on a week day morning. Tint bubbled on all windows within a few months. Was completely unable to see out back windows and was thankful for the backup camera! I guess I could have gone back with warranty coverage, but honestly didn't feel like waiting another 2 hours just to have the tint ruin again. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. Buyer beware. I got my car tinted and there was bubbles all over. When I called I was told to bring it back so it could be fixed. I brought my car to them and they said well you need to schedule another appointment so I did. I am the average person I have a job so I have to take time off from work. On my appointment day an excuse was made how the bubbles couldn't be seen and I needed to reschedule my appointment. By then I was mad and I let the owner know I preferred a refund. He refused.
