I had installed a subwoofer in my Jeep and the sound was below average. I went in and explained to them my dilema. They didn't make me feel embarrassed at having attempted to do it myself. They were very supportive of me attempting to accomplish this. They asked me to come back for a scheduled appointment where I could leave my car for a couple of hours and gave me a reasonable fee quote depending on how much time it would take them to sort it out. The day I dropped it off they again were very pleasant and got my cell number to call me if they had any questions about my installation. I was called once and asked if I would like to replace the broken housing for my radio head. I had forgotten I had cracked it when I put it in. The cost wasn't much so I said "Go ahead and replace it". I was called a short time later and told my Jeep was ready for me to pick up. When I picked it up they had spent about an hour re wiring some speakers and then balanced the sound with the addition of my subwoofer. The sound was so pristine in my open air Jeep I was amazed! I had never even thought it could be so clear that even at the top level I could still have a conversation with my passenger next to me! I was blown away. They explained that they balanced the sound and speakers so that they were maximizing the amplifier and head unit to the correct specs. I have to recommend them highly for the quality of service they showed from the moment I walked in sheepishly to admit I had done all I could and needed help to the pickup and sound they coaxed out of my very old kenwood aftermarket head unit and subwoofer amp and speaker box I had purchased from Amazon. They never tried to upsell me a new head unit or new speakers although now I have such great sound I may decide to upgrade my head unit so I can run Bluetooth instead of just using an aux cord read more

So I don't write a lot of reviews, but I get a lot of work done on cars and these guys deserve one right out of the box. I was a walk in last week, and it's always a bit unnerving going somewhere new. They took that feeling away the second I walked in. Friendly service, big smiles all the help I needed and direction for what I would need. Getting a new head unit, sub and amp and tuning my 4 channel, and I will update when it's all done. 1st impression is hands down best I've had in years walking into any auto related shop. To reply to the reviewer below, Bico cannot give out prices on some things due to agreements made - If you go to the store, they can probably cut you a better-than-advertised deal. I had Bico Stereo do the install of my Pioneer AVIC, Dynaudio speakers, and a subwoofer and 4-channel amp. Chris and Steven were very professional, prompt, and fixed issues that my previous installer had. They offer products that most local installers don't, like German Maestro and Dynaudio, and they legitimately understand car audio installations and what they are doing. They're not some chop-shop that works at flea markets during weekends. I've got another car that needs a sound system soon, and you can be sure I'll be going back to Bico. read more

I chose bico stereo cuz it's local as am I, I seem to reviews and everything reads fine so I assumed I would have a pleasant experience. The young man I spoke with was very knowledgeable very willing to work within our budget and very friendly unfortunately there was a mix-up in the time frame that was allotted to service my vehicle and the appointment had not been set on their end I was told they were unable to do it that week and I would have to reschedule so after some time I rescheduled I came to pick the car up at the end of the day and was told they did not have time to put the stereo system in the car I would again have to reschedule the second time i rescheduled, there was a kink in the financing which I thought we had worked out because I was told it had been resolved on their end. I attempted through several channels both Pecos website and the second party website to attempt to resubmit my paperwork I was unsuccessful in doing so I called Biko to see if they could assist in any matter I was told to go to the website which I was not able to utilize the first time. After we attempting I called Biko and just told him I did not really know what to do going online was not an option at this point the older man there that I spoke with said fine have a good day and hung up absolutely the worst experience I have had and dealing with so-called people in the customer service business would definitely not recommend them read more

About 6-7 months ago I had gotten my 10 inch sub installed into my car and they had charged me $350 dollars. Which at the time I didn't mind, I thought I had just paid for really good quality service, but I was wrong. VERY soon after I had the installation my sub was having issues staying on. So I brought it back and they looked at it and they told me that maybe my amp had a short in it, so I ordered the exact same amp from amazon, brand new and me and my dad switched it out, same exact placement on wires and everything, and it still didn't work, so i brought it back again. They also tried to tell me it was going into protection mode. But It would literally be cold to the touch sometimes when i would feel it right after it shutting off. So, at this point the owner Gino was starting to get an attitude with me because I kept coming back. They took a look at it that day and made it work, and then a couple days later it started having the same issues, so I brought it back. I think in total I brought my car back 5 times, and to this day, it is still not fixed. I just drive around listening to my stock speakers for the most part, I might hear the sub play a few times but that's about it. So I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place at all. They gave me the run around every time I went in, and still never fixed the problem. $350 down the drain ‍ read more

I took my 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic (110 Cu in CVO-They start at 40K) to the guys at Bico to upgrade the factory stereo to a great stereo. They installed Arc Audio twin amps Focal speakers and all the wiring. The workmanship is perfect. It looks completely factory and all wires are tucked neatly away and covered in plastic sleeves. The sound is awesome. One set of speakers was a little to large so Bico changed them out to a shallower speaker at no additional cost and no hassle. read more

Find somewhere else to take your business. Bico was recommended to me by a co-worker. That co-worker walked into Bico and told them I was coming and to do their homework before I arrived because I'm usually on top of my game and that this would not be a typical install (2016 Tundra TRD Pro notorious for poor sound). Unfortunately, when I went in it was obvious that they hadn't taken any time to do their research. That much was obvious. I was told that all the existing oem steering wheel controls as well as ports and antennae, could and would be adapted to the new head unit/install. But, when I got my truck home, I noticed that they had added an antenna for the satellite radio instead of using the stock antenna. I also noticed that the 3.5mm aux jack did not work. I was not told any of these things when I picked up my truck. I called back and they told me they didn't have the antenna adapter they needed during the install but they would handle it. I later received a call and scheduled a day to make the 120 mile round trip to have the adapter installed. When I arrived, they told me that they had the wrong adapter. I said fine. I would reschedule a month down the road when my schedule cleared. A month later, I made the appointment. I was a 1/2 mile away from the shop on my 60 mile drive when I got a call and said that they had the wrong adapter again, could we reschedule. I said no. I had had enough. That was my 5th 120 mile round trip to attempt to get the install completed and working properly. So, after spending a great deal of money on an entire, new system with quality components from the ground up, I still have a stereo that doesn't sound quite right (this is a whole story in itself), a 3.5mm aux jack that doesn't work and an aftermarket satellite antenna on the cab roof that doesn't need to be there. I'm sure that the shop will get on here and try to give me more lip service to smooth this over, but I ain't buying it and neither should you. Find somewhere else to take your business. read more

I recently patronized Bico Stereo and would like to share my experience. I went to Bico Stereo to have my stereo (line converter, amp, sub) tuned properly as it had not been done so by the previous car stereo company. I initially dealt with a guy (Chandler) at the register and inquired about tuning my equipment. He checked with the installer and told me that they were able to do it right then. The installer did a good job in my opinion, he was courteous, diligent, and really worked to the tune the equipment properly. Ultimately he tuned the system, I paid for their services, and left. I even tipped the installer as I was impressed with his level of courtesy and effort. The next day I noticed that the speakers & sub sounded as if it needed a little more tuning. It had been tuned to the sound of only one song in my playlist and sounded distorted on other genres of music. I called Bico Stereo, spoke with Chandler, and advised him of the issue. He told me to bring it back in. I took my vehicle back in on Tuesday, when greeted this time I could sense a cooler change in the atmosphere by way of customer service. I reiterated the issues to Chandler who went to the back and returned later only to tell me that he could not fix the problem on this day. He told me to come back on Thursday or Friday between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm and he would fix the problem. I called him the next day (Wednesday) and asked if I could leave my vehicle overnight for repair due to having to work and not having a ride home. He told me that he would call me back in 30 to 45 minutes to let me know.......the phone never rang. I called him on Thursday in an attempt to bring it in again, he told me that he had been busy and that he still had my number. It's been over week and still, no call. It's more than apparent to me now that I was just being strung along and that he never had any intentions of fixing my vehicle. I don't recommend using this business for anything. They proved their honesty when I told them my budget, but Gino explained for what I wanted, I did not need to spend as much as I thought. Their service is excellent and when it was obvious I did not know anything about car audio they took their time to let me listen to different systems and explained how to compare what I was hearing.
