Was able to set up mobile appointment with them by text by sending them my vehicles details, they were very timely in responding with a quote and scheduling an appointment for today, and when they gave a window from 9-12 I asked if they could try to be closer to 9 and they said they would try but could only offer a window, but sure enough the technician was here right at 9. Initially I thought all would go great. After contacting several different companies I decided to go with AAR Auto glass. I sent an inquiry to get an estimate & was quoted $179, I spoke with Troy & he told me he included the 20% discount that was advertised on the website. The day of my appointment comes around and it was set for Saturday at 8am. Troy told me that he would notify me when a tech was on their way. I didn't get any notifications, but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions so I assumed the tech would still show up regardless. After waiting for 35 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time I called Troy to see what was going on. He didn't answer but sent me a text message before I even hung up the phone. I responded to the text to see if he would reply back to me. I & told him my appointment was for 8am & no one showed up. I asked if he knew what was going on. He told me appointments are from 7-9am. Apparently he didn't read because I mentioned my appointment being for 8am. Immediately after I sent a second response saying that I would write a review for his company flaking on me some woman calls me and I find out she's the tech. She says that she is finally on her way to repair my windshield. I refused the service and let them know that I will be going with another reliable company. If I schedule an appointment then I expect to receive service at that particular time. This is an UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRELIABLE company & I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM AAR AUTOGLASS!!!!!!!! EDIT: His tech called me at 8:41am saying she was on the way from Spring, Tx only AFTER I called to check the status of the 8 am appointment we agreed upon over the phone. Mind you, I live right outside of Sugarland, Tx which is a 50 minute drive from Spring, Tx. So is he saying his tech made it in 4 minutes? Not to mention I was sitting in my garage waiting for someone to show up. He also stated in his response below that I'm not a customer....So why lie and say your tech was outside of my house at 8:45 am. That is a contradiction. Troy does not handle business well. If you don't believe me look at the first 2 reviews stating the same experiences I had. They both contacted Troy for his services only to have no one show up and he didn't take responsibility and that's why I'm so upset as a potential customer!!!!! Dispatcher was difficult to get ahold of and was then very rude and had to have the last word. They scheduled a time through a bot for between 2-5pm promising a warning 20 minutes in advance. I only received a call once I was subjected to the curt nature of the staff and had to put up with negative attitude for making the simple observation. that observation was if I had known they were going to be late I would have gone somewhere else. The dispatcher cut me off and said no let me speak and went on about how they're mobile, and I couldn't have known, and other things I don't care about from companies that don't keep commitments. It's currently 4:54 and the tech has just called me to let me know he's 20 minutes out. They missed their 3 hour self selected window and have so far only given me a negative client experience. read more

Received a call that the tech would be about 20 minutes. I He got to the house with no trouble. I looked at the truck and tech and was not really impressed. I believe my tech is the brother of Troy? Cannot remember his name, my bad, sorry. I have a Volvo and he went to work, went through it like he had just finished doing 10 S80's. He was very friendly and talked about it as family run business, which I like. I will be calling soon to have the wife's car done. read more

AAR is so easy to deal with! The phones were occupied when I called to set up an appointment, but I received an iMessage back immediately after I called and scheduled my windshield replacement via text for the following afternoon. The installer called in advance and arrived to my office parking lot at 12:10, perfectly within my time slot of 12-3pm. The installation only took 30 minutes and the price was much more reasonable than Safelite quoted. Hopefully I don't get any more windshield cracks before needing an inspection, but if I do I will use AAR! read more

Had AAR install a windshield on an Audi Q5 about a year and 8 months ago. Everything went well and the installer was quick. Fast forward to now and the heavy Houston rains forced water into the passenger side of the car. There was enough water to pool on the floorboards. I tried to find the source of the leak by pouring water all over the car: sunroof was good, doors were good, windshield - not so much. I poured water down the passenger-side of the windshield and the water went directly into the car. I took the car to the dealership and they stated it was a faulty seal from the windshield installation. I called AAR and spoke with Troy. I told him what happened and he proceeds to tell me it wasn't their fault. They didn't even inspect it and they're already denying accountability. I persisted and Troy agreed to send out a tech. We set up for late in the afternoon on a Thursday. Thursday rolls around and no one shows. Troy calls the next day and reschedules for Saturday morning. Again, no one shows. The weather forecast was bad so we had the seal repaired. We get a text from Troy a few days later apologizing and rescheduling for another day. I then get a call from an office rep to confirm the appointment and I just start laughing. I explain to her that we've already fixed it since they didn't show up previously. She simply states, "Ok, thank you." Needless to say, if you value quality and a company that stands by their service then don't call these guys. read more

Scheduled a mobile service, tech never showed, nor called to confirm. Spoke with AAR and they said they could not find their tech either. Never received a call to find out why the tech never showed up nor to reschedule. Took a day off to get this done, now I am stuck with an incomplete job. I would not use these folks due to the unprofessional nature. read more

AAR Auto Glass has replaced two windshields for us. On both occasions they showed up on time and did a good job. They take credit cards and made it a very simple process. They came the next day and were $150 cheaper than two other windshield repair companies I called. I recommend AAR Glass. read more

My Ford was broken into and I called various places to compare prices and this place was $100-$150 cheaper than the dealership or many other companies which made me skeptical at first. But wow, I'm so used to waiting hours and paying an arm and a leg for car work I was surprised by their efficiency. I called the day before and he gave me a quote, offered a coupon I didn't even know they had, and even offered to meet me at my home. It felt like they were really helping me save money. Dean, our tech, showed up between 12-3 like agreed and was so quick. Must've been done within 30 min. And on top of that vacuumed the whole car to get the glass out which I didn't expect at all and was a nice bonus. Paid about $190 after tax which I'm pretty happy about. I will definitely be coming back here for future service! read more

I had my windshield broken out in the middle of the night and had to call someone first thing in the AM. Terrible service!! After I had my car window broken into I had them fix my glass thinking they would do a good job. After the fix, the window they replaced it with leaked and also did not allow my door to shut properly. Also all the broken glass from the break in was never fully cleaned out. I had them come out a second time to fix it, and of course was still left with a door that would not close properly and rattled with shards of glass still inside the door...and still the window leaked and you could hear wind noise as you drove down the highway. I ultimately had to take it to the BMW service shop to have them look at and they told me whoever replaced this glass did a horrible lazy job, and messed up the door frame. I would not recommend this company to anyone. -Unhappy customer read more
