Quoted $475 for a windshield replacement, then followed up offering $390. I accepted and scheduled for May 3rd. They messed up the appointment and pushed it to May 10th, offering a 10% discount. I asked for the new price, never got a follow up. When I called, they told me $415, then backtracked and said $390 was the discounted price total nonsense. I gave in just to get it over with. May 10th comes no call, no show. When I followed up, they said the supervisor had canceled my appointment without telling me, falsely claiming I wanted a bigger discount (I didn't, I already agreed to $390). After I left a review on Google, they responded with a fake, polished story trying to paint me as the problem. They lied about what happened and about me personally, just to protect their image. Terrible communication, no accountability, and straight up dishonest. Avoid this place. read more

Got a windshield from them in August. I drive a lot of miles (60+ round trip work commute) and developed a pressure crack after two months. Here's where I screwed up: I didn't research how quickly I needed to let them know. They offer a 90-day guarantee on the work and glass that they sold me. I went in after the 90 days by about three weeks and asked the polite young lady behind the counter if there was anything that could be done. She went out of sight to talk to ???? then came back and told me I was out of luck and asked if I wanted a quote for a new windshield. LOLl! No, I bought a windshield that didn't last me four months. Would not recommend this company because they damaged the door in the process of replacing the windshield and wouldn't take responsibility. Marissa, the manager, will basically call you a liar in her own "kind" way and leave you with a driver door that now pops when it opens and cause the paint to peel off where the frame meets the door. We didn't have any prior incidents with the door. She also refused to disclose the owners name when I told her I wanted the owner to call us to resolve the issue. I basically had to pry it out of her... I only wanted his name so we knew who was calling when we picked up the phone. read more

I purchased a glass from them giving them specific details about what car I had and for some reason they were having issues with the glass at first. I took off work today from two till six so I would not be late with the technicians that were supposed to come around 3-6 to change out my glass. I waited...and I even called them at 5:45 and no one answered and they didn't arrive until after six. I had to pay for the glass and of course the fee of them coming out but they were extremely late and should have notified me in the beginning. That way I didn't even have to take off work Instead of waiting around all day. When one of the technicians arrived, he got started and said he was prepping before the other tech got there. Started aggressively removing all the glass, but probably should have removed the frame around so it would be easier. When the other tech got there he said that he couldn't change it out because of this metal piece that was not on the piece of glass that they brought and he did not have the right glue to put it back together. At that point I was very annoyed, explained to them that they should've made sure it was a right piece before they came and the tech said it was a gamble whether they needed the metal piece or not. Then they said well they can just glue back everything without the metal piece and if it were to break next time that it would be really hard to takeoff. I told them no that's not what I wanted them to do because I did not want it half assed, I wanted it done correctly. So they chit chatted near their trucks and said don't worry they can do it. So now I'm confused to whether they had the right glue or not or if it was glued on correctly. After they left I had to vacuum a bunch of glass pieces still left inside the car and outside on the floors. There's also a whole bunch of glass inside of the frame where they didn't even try to vacuum it out which I had to do myself and still can't get all of it out so now it rattles every time I open and close my trunk. I figured paying a little bit more than other businesses that quoted me would be worth it but apparently not. read more

I submitted a request for a quote Online over the weekend. Valerie got back with me on Monday via email. After clarifying some information she was able to provide me with a very reasonable quote. Informed me upfront that there was a $20 charge for on site i.e. mobile installation/replacement. Total cost to replace bike windshield was more than half of another quote that I received including the mobile charge! She gave me some time slots of availability which worked with my schedule. The installer was able to come out same day and made it within the provided appointment time. During the appointment he removed the glass to prep for installation. It was a one-man job but he was able to do it very quickly. Asked me what stickers I needed to transfer from the old windshield to the new windshield And placed the stickers on the new windshield where he removed it from the old. I watched as he placed the black silicone adhesive and I must say I was very impressed by the "clean" job that he did. He wipe down both sides of the windshield before installing it and then wiped again after he was done. He adjusted the windshield to make sure that it was aligned properly to ensure that it wouldn't leak later. He reinstalled the rearview mirror and wipe down the exterior of the glass to remove any smudges. From start to finish it was maybe a 30 minute job! Provided me with the invoice which matched what was quoted. Since I was paying by credit card and he did have to phone it in which was also quick. Once he received confirmation he was on his way! I would highly recommend Tomball auto glass to anyone who needs a windshield replacement. If anything give them a call and get a quote I'm sure you'll find them more than reasonable and responsive. read more

Just got my windshield replaced while I'm at work. Was excited to get this service. However after my windshield was installed my girlfriend informed me my driver side door makes a popping noise when you open it and paint is getting scratched off because it's hitting the panel that connects to my windshield. My truck was broken into, and I was really in a time crunch to get my window fixed since it was starting to rain, and they squeezed my truck in to get fixed, very kind people that work here. The ladies at the front desk were so nice, and even got my window covered up before it started to rain. The service was extremely quick, I was estimated an hour and a half wait time, but they were done with my truck within 30 to 45 minutes, along with my window being replaced they matched my tint! The only negative thing I have to say is I still have glass in my door, and I can hear it rattle when I shut it but it's a super easy fix. I just recently had my windshield replaced. I contacted several companies for work, a few much closer to my home and work. They were the most competitive and responsive of any of the companies we talked to. A smaller company,d and the service was excellent. Our appointment had a mixup and they didn't have us on the schedule, so they offered to come to my home on a Saturday at no charge to do the work. I was recommended by someone to check out this place to replace my back window. I called spoke to a lady who told me they didn't make an oem 3 piece Sliding glass back window for my truck(that was lie she just didn't have one in stock) anyway we agreed on an aftermarket one and the price. Came in On a Saturday dropped my truck off told them i wanted 20% tint in the front and 5% in the back. Took a little over 4 hours to be done. Came to pick up my truck and noticed they put 35% in the front and lied to me and said it was 20%. They said no problem it's under warranty we can replace it another time. I don't know why i agreed to it and left when i got home i noticed the back glass wasn't right it's damaged the plastic pieces have chips as you can see. I spoke to the manager who said she now can get me an oem for additional charge and they will fix the tint. I asked if we can work something out in regards to the price just for the trouble and having to take another day off work. I don't want it for free i just wanted to be done right. After a few texts back and forth she told me just bring it by and get your money back. I went a few days later to remove the tint and the back window from my truck. I can honestly say the work they did was good but the customer service is horrible. I think they should show the customer the glass before they install it, but whatever. The window tint is trash by the way go somewhere else and get it done right. Their own guy was telling me he was tired of the shop and all the bull. I was planning to go to Safelite to replace my windshield but my mechanic at TXEngineWerks, in Magnolia, recommended these guys. They were professional and it cost about 25% less. A month later a rock damaged my windshield again and I took it back here for a $45 repair. They did a great job with the repair and best of all they didn't charge me because they recognized that I had just bought a new windshield! MOLD because of improper work done on back glass installation. Gap in molding lead to water leaking into trunk, and spreading mold. Vanessa a Manager claims that Rogelio ( the owner) will not REIMBURSE me for the money i spent on paying a detailer to clean the MOLD (HEALTH HAZARD). Many detailers refused to do the work because of health hazard. Vanessa claims Rogelio will only pay a shop to detail it a second time because the leak and mold had come back. Vanessa also laughed when she said "work" only has a few weeks of warranty, and I asked well then why does ur website & social media accounts claim "lifetime warranty on any glass work $80 and up". Customer service is subpar. Very disappointed because I've hired them for many other jobs on my other cars and never had a problem. Take ur glass needs elsewhere, I'm sure other company's would treat a customer better when they realize they did improper work that could lead to potential health hazards. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! Do not use this place unless you want to wait for an hour only to walk out because your quoted price went up $25. After reading good reviews, I called and made an appointment a week in advance. The lady I spoke to wanted to book me on a Saturday and I told her no, I needed the following week. She booked me for Monday and quoted me $70 to remove and redo the tint on my back windshield. My husband gets there today and he's told we don't have an appointment. He explains the situation to the woman and she says oh that's right I remember talking to your wife. I booked her for Saturday but we can get you in. She puts my husbands name down and says they should be done in an hour. An hour later my husband is still waiting and the car hasn't even been looked at yet. He walks to the desk to speak with someone and the manager argues with him that we didn't even have an appointment, it must have been with Tomball Tinters that we made an appointment with. Then she tells him $70 isn't the right price, it will be $90. This was all after the first girl admitted that she remembered talking to us over the phone. What horrible customer service. They can't even get their scheduling or pricing correct. I sure hope their technicians do a better job than their office staff. They will never get my business. read more

My vehicle was damaged by them. I contacted them and they said their technician said my vehicle was already rusted and damaged. No.... my vehicle is a 2018. They left a huge scratch from one end to the other from the cutting on top of vehicle. There was also 2 big dents...perhaps from putting their weight on it. The integrity of this establishment is very questionable. Today I took my car in to get my windshield replaced while doing so they had to keep the two front doors open. After I paid one of the ladies said your battery will not start because we had to keep the doors open and with this car being electrical it possibly caused the battery to die. I did not say anything They jumpstarted my car and I asked is this going to be OK because I have errands to run their answer was yes. However after I turned my car off I couldn't get it back on. I called this establishment and explain to them what happened she blamed me and said how do we know your battery was not bad before you came in . So instead of me only paying the fee of the windshield replacement now I have to purchase a brand new battery out of pocket they did not take any responsibility or even try to accommodate my situation. The prices are competitive even without using a Groupon. I scheduled my installation for the next day. The man who arrived was also very friendly, he did get to me at the end of the 3 hour installation window and was a few minutes late but I understand how traffic is in the area so I did not mind. He completed the job quickly and did a great job. I am very happy with the services provided and I would recommend them any day.
