Well, we did it again. Except with the help of Mindy our excellent server. I tried the house special 20oz Prime rib , medium rare and cooked to perfection. Hot radish sauce and au jus was sitting on the side. The wife enjoyed the 8 oz Filet. Our side dish was au gratin potatoes. Try their FENN VALLEY, 42 Ice Wine . A sweet Taste of peaches, mangoes, apples, and honey. This wine is a great after dinner drink . The homemade bread and crackers with parmesan crackers were mouth watering. Enjoying our 8th year of Marriage! This is a fine dining experience and not a rowdy oyster Bar. Smooth operation managed by Aaron!

Apparently I really like their Sea Bass! I had it on two different visits. Amazing both times. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented. The risotto is excellent. The seafood tower is excellent. The staff is fantastic. The wine is excellent. The space is modern and elegant. Needless to say, this is likely the best restaurant in Battle Creek!!

My husband made reservations to go to this restaurant for my birthday. As you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere was beautiful and so calming. We had a party of four and were seated in a private room off the main dining area. It was quaint and cozy. Our waiter, Trevor, was the best. It was a busy Saturday night yet he was on top of it. He also had really great suggestions when it came to appetizers, main courses and desserts! We each decided to try a little bit of everything. The seafood appetizer was delicious. The Goat Cheese Fondue was so creamy and the jam that went with it was delicious and added a sweet element to the dish. Our main courses were so good. We could hardly eat all our food but we still did not want to miss out on dessert. The oysters were really good quality. The king crab was so worth the money and I love how they come cut so you don't have to work for your food, you just get to enjoy it! The steaks were cooked to our preference and the sea bass was so tasty! It may have been pricey but I don't mind spending the money on quality food and that's what you will find here. We will definitely return!

While staying at Firekeepers for a weekend getaway me and my husband and another couple went here dinner on a Friday evening. We made a reservation to make it easier to dine in and we were immediately seated upon arrival. It is very nice on the inside, the restaurant sits to the right of the entrance of the hotel check-in area. They have those tablet menus which are a pretty cool touch. We ordered some adult cocktails, which were all very good. All of our food was really good and the wait between our appetizers and entrees was not long at all. Our waitress was really nice and very attentive. Some items are a little over priced but I feel like that's expected because it's located within the casino.

This was our honeymoon dinner. Everything was for lack of a better word perfect. The food was amazing the drinks were on point. The cost ...well I don't know. An anonymous couple bought us a bottle of champagne. By the time we finished our dinner and our bill came they bought us dinner as well. The place was amazing the atmosphere the was sublime. Our server was amazing I hate that I don't remember her name. The menus is mostly Al la cart. It's a great experience if you have the chance this is a must stop. Make a reservation and give them your business. It was well worth it. To the wonderful couple that bought us dinner I hope one day you see this and know how truly great ful we are. I hope you have many more years together. To the staff, thank you for a magical experience.

We went here for my friends birthday celebration. Its one of the only spots where you can eat inside at this point. We all arrived early and our appointment was at 8pm. It took some time to be seated as they were limited. There is also no time limit on how long people can stay. We decided to grab a drink at the bar. We we called about 40 minutes after our reservation. We were seated and given touch screens to order from. They had seafood, steak, fish, pasta, etc. There was a good variety to choose from. I opted for a side of scallops, lobster chowder and the lamb entree. My friends got the seafood combo and steak. The lobster chowder was excellent. It had a great smoky flavor and plenty of lobster. The seafood mix was also shared at the table. It was a seafood lovers heaven. Lobster, shrimp, shredded crab and crab legs. It was fresh and great. The river steak was hugh. I tasted a piece and was cooked to perfection. The lamb was also good but I was so full that I had to take most of it home. The prices will set you back but it was worth the meal. Great food and friendly people. I plan on visiting again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! My experience with local casino's restaurants have been subpar to say the least - Nibi has renewed my faith that a local casino had CAN have good food!

The good: Waitstaff is fantastic! The bread basket is wonderful and so pretty! The sorbet before main course is great addition, which they have always had, however, things have changed. The ambiance was loud but it was an event night, and they need more faux fires or something , just felt off. First of the prices! This should not be 3 $ signs it should be 4$$$$! Last year we had the wedge salad and it was glorious, an actual large wedge beautifully dressed. This year, just awful! About three bites of lettuce and some blue cheese smear on bottom? Wish I took a picture! One filet mignon without any sides is ugly, lonely and cheap! $60 for just that solo steak, and charged 9,50 for mashed potatoes side we didn't order. The French onion soup used to be just that, a full crock bubbling almost over, now some soaked bread in just a half filled crock!!! The price went up for that as well, but the soup itself is not that expensive to make! My fish dish, sea bass, was well cooked and seasoned, but the risotto was much less than last time and a bit undercooked. I get it, food costs a bit more but $60 for a fish dish, that's a shame! It's our 3rd time eating at Nibi and unfortunately our last. I would not recommend eating here if you can't eat bread because that is needed to fill you up! I am saddened, I used to brag about this restaurant, no longer. I did take a pic of my fish dish which was ok.

Food was awesome. Service was good. The ambiance was romantic. I highly recommend. Very thing we ate was perfectly seasoned. No issues. Great waitress too

This is the most UNDER RATED restaurant! The filet Mignon and New York Strip were perfect!!!! Medium rare and just DEELISH!!!! Ask for Shelby! She was very attentive and just a great waitress! If you're ever at Firekeepers Casino and Hotel, or in the area stop in and give them a try. They open at 5pm on Sundays, but check the website for details.

First time going to Nibi was this weekend. I was invited as a guest to a birthday celebration in their private dining area. Chef Mason and team put on 9 course chef tasting menu for the event. To sum it up in a word: amazing. The staff was second to none. I didn't have to ask for anything the entire time. Each course was paired with a drink. The attention to detail and the presentation was as good as I've ever seen. This was a Michelin star level dining experience. I have no idea how often, if ever, this is done at Nibi. I can only say this should be a regular offering as it was one of the best food experiences of my life. I've posted pictures of each course along with the menu at the end outlining the details of each dish.

First time to Nibi and we were not disappointed! Great ambiance, cocktails, culinary delights and service! We dined at the bar and really enjoyed our entire experience. While everything we had was delicious, I highly recommend the Lobster Chowder and the Filet served Supreme Oscar Style! We will absolutely return next time we make the trip to FireKeepers!

I landed on the ribeye special of the day. Dry-aged 10oz with mushrooms and two sides. Bread is delicious as well as the honey mustard salad dressing they make in-house. What wasn't amazing was the steak. Dry-aged doesn't mean the steak in the back of the cooler that got dried out. It was so tough it was hard to cut and unable to chew. The waitress just kept saying oh no and it took her a minute of watching me hit the steak with my fork and it not giving at all. At medium rare, it was ridiculously hard with the ends dried out. It was cooked perfectly but dry aging breaks down muscle fibers and removes moisture for a nutty funky flavor. This one was a miss. There was nothing tender about it. She replaced it was chicken Marsala. I already had my sides so it was just a chicken breast on a big plate with a mushroom gravy. They forget the cream. The chicken was cheap chicken breast that has that funky texture like it's raw but it is clearly fully cooked. Chicken was flavorless. Sauce was good but could have been better with some cream. In laws we're treating us so I didn't send this one back too. They love this place and wanted to bring us here. We went early on a Saturday about 5pm. It was getting very busy as we left. Burgers are excellent, I hear.

The extensive cocktail, wine, and beer selection is high quality and specially curated. I had a hard time deciding, but I settled on the Sage Rub. It was so delicious and refreshing; not too sweet. I highly recommend it! My husband got the Bell's Hazy IPA, one of his favorites! We started with the Brussels sprouts and the bread board. The Brussels were decadent, crisp, and flavorful! The bread was such a rich array of tasty breads and butter/salt/pepper sides. We loved every bite! I got the house salad and my husband got the special. We each preferred our own salads, so that's good! I loved the house salad because of the light and refreshing vinegarette . The flavors were spot on. My husband liked that the special salad brought together a bunch of different flavors into a sweet/tangy delight! For our main entrees, both my husband and I were eying the Three Little Pigs pizza. He ended up getting and let me have a bite: so flavorful with high quality meats, cheese, and ingredients overall. So good! I got the Housemade pasta with beef tenderloin, charred onions, and mushroom sauce. It was literally divine and I cherished each and every bite. We would have loved to get dessert, but we were stuffed! Maybe next time? Prices are great, the space is clean/safe, and the portions are excellent. My…read morefriends and I arrived 10 min before they opened for brunch and there was no wait, though the restaurant filled up quickly behind us. The space is rustic and simple, with fresh cut flowers on the tables. A majority of the walls were occupied by floor to ceiling racks of wine, as that is their award-winning product. Their brunch menu changes weekly and is extremely tight and cohesive. My party ordered the entire food menu sans olives (2/3rds of us don't like them), and two plates of the potato pelmeni. My thoughts below: Amaro Apertivo: mocktail based on the namesake dessert wine. This tasted like candy but not too sweet, and we enjoyed it a lot. Lovage soda: Google told me that lovage is an herb that tastes like citrus and celery. I am a huge fan of drinks with a twist, and I'd say that celery is a pretty big one! Crisp and not too sweet, the citrus flavor definitely balanced the Celery, and both flavors kept the soda fresh and crisp. This was great paired with the rest of the herbaceous menu and balanced out the richness of some later dishes, though it's not necessarily something I would enjoy by itself without appropriate accompaniment. Pickled egg, fried shallot, dill: I had only heard of pickled eggs in the context of strange British food on YouTube, so I was a little hesitant about this dish. The concept of an egg floating in vinegar brine is a bit off-putting, but once I powered through that mental roadblock, I found myself enjoying this bite. The egg is perfectly cooked with a slightly jammy yolk, and the shallots added a much needed crunch. Dill enhanced the pickled taste while cutting through the richness of the fried shallots and yolk. Sourdough focaccia, whipped butter: Never in my life have I ever made focaccia this tall. This focaccia was raised by a loving family and nurtured to develop a golden, non-greasy, crisp crust protecting its tender, pillowy innards. The classic sourdough tang is a novel addition to each bite, and cuts through the creamy, whipped butter to keep me wanting more. I could eat a whole pan of this alone, but we had many more plates to sample. Saucisson sec salami, pickled carrot: This is a simple, charming, carb-free mini charcuterie; place a slice of salami, some of the mozzarella (next dish on this list, below), and its oil atop a pickled carrot base, and you are in for a perfectly balanced treat. My favorite part of this dish is the fact that the salami was incredibly savory, and not too salty. The more you chew it, the more the flavors express themselves, so be sure to chew slowly and thoroughly! The crunch of the crisp, dill-pickled carrot and the soft chewiness of the mozzarella give each bite a lot of good contrast. Mozzarella, green garlic oil: Fresh, hand-stretched mozzarella is something that even I, a notorious cheese-hater, can't say no to. It is not sharp or funky at all, nor is it too salty. Most of the flavor comes from the green garlic and olive oil smothering each bite. Fresh and floral with a little bite, this was delicious with the salami and carrot above. Potato pelmeni, asparagus green adjika, sour cream: Given the portion size of the previous dishes (small, tapas vibes), we were not expecting the platter full of double carb heaven that met our eyes. And we ordered two!!! This is a gorgeous dish with plump, quarter-sized pelmeni nestled in a vibrant green asparagus and herb sauce with a dollop of sour cream on top. This was a classic comfort dish with a verdant twist! The pelmeni were stuffed full of creamy potato, and the dough was cooked perfectly al dente for a satisfying, pillowy bite. The sauce was homey but packed with zippy flavor and tender asparagus. The major feedback I have for this dish is that it was way too salty, to the point where the flavor was a tad too sharp because of it. Lettuces, radish, pumpkin seed, caraway vinaigrette: It was through this dish that I found out what caraway tastes like and through this dish that I figured out that I'm not a caraway fan. The lettuces were bitter and when combined with the slightly medicinal caraway taste, wasn't for me. The crunch of the radish and the nutty pumpkin seeds were great in this dish though! Fennel cornmeal biscotti, rhubarb compote, cream: This was a single biscotti with generous dollops of compote and cream. We were quite full when this dish was set in front of us, so I was frankly relieved for the small portion size. The fennel in the biscotti paired wonderfully with the tart rhubarb, and the rich cream rounded things out nicely without tipping into cloying territory. The savory cornmeal complimented the fennel and provided additional depth of flavor. A great small bite to end on! Overall, Spencer's strong fundamentals allow them to take risks with in-season local produce. Some things worked for me and some didn't, but I would love to come back to see what they can create next!

I finally got in with a reservation and I was not disappointed. You absolutely must order steak here. Skip the sea bass or chicken and go for what they are known for. The Cowboy Ribeye was perfection. Juicy, seasoned beautifully, and so good that even though we ordered bleu cheese and horseradish sauce, we hardly touched them. Honestly, you do not need garnishes. To make the meal even better, try the Brussels with Pork Belly as a side to share. I could do without the pork belly, but the dish still worked really well. For a drink, the Nightcap was delicious and hit the spot. At first I was unsure, since the restaurant is small and the table next to us had a group of very loud business men, which made it hard to talk. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere. Thankfully they left early in our dinner, and the rest of the experience was wonderful. The service was excellent. We were told the steaks might take some time since they are large, but it did not feel like a long wait at all. I will definitely be coming back when I am craving steak. Come hungry because the portions are big. Highly recommended.
