Stopped by Sunday for brunch. Had excellent coffee, excellent service and arguably the best French dip I have had with hot delicious fries.

There was so much going on all in one visit. Had to send the first plate back: the French dip was delivered with room-temperature potatoes and was nearly identical to the sandwich, minus au jus. Two other French dips were delivered without au jus. My Philly cheese steak was okay, but it lacked seasoning and adequate filling. Our appetizers were delivered after the main dishes came out, defeating the point of ordering them. There is absolutely no reason to order the special fries, as they truly were just thinner fries. Tasted nothing different from the standard fries, just crispier because of their smaller size. Loaded fries were missing toppings. The waitress did not check back on us for drinks or food, so we gave up on a better experience. Might have been our luck when we visited, but sitting out front was to our and the other guests' detriment, as the wait staff seemed to forget about us between required visits. been there a couple of times always try to give their food a chance by trying different options and every time it is poorly made no flavor or things are not cooked right.. would not recommend eating there especially for the price maybe just a pepperoni pizza is the only thing that's decent. read more

Staff is very friendly! Really nice spot on the Main strip. I live in Texas and We like our Dr.Pepper, not sure if this is a Michigan thing but the Dr.Pepper tastes more like root beer than Dr.Pepper. Ordered a Broccoli Cheddar soup, very good, and their Alfredo, good too. read more

Food is usually good. We have had boarder line burned grinders twice when ordering take out, but for the most part the food is good. Staff are friendly and online ordering is easy. read more

The wait staff was good but the .food not so much .I had fish n chips and it was very greasy and the fries were over cooked. I ordered take out and the meat on the steak hoagie was way over cooked it was very dry but the 3 onion rings I got were good I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone for good food read more

Broadway Grille does not disappoint! From the moment you walk into this casual, small town atmosphere situated in one of the cutest downtowns in SW Michigan, you feel right at home. Choose your favorite seat in the common area...at the bar, one of the high or low top tables, or in a booth. Anywhere you choose is literally always clean! Everyone here is always happy, the food is worth every penny (and doesn't break the bank!) and there's even a fully stocked bar! Though I cannot recall our server's name to give a proper shout out to her, she was excellent. Friendly, fast, and ensured our order was exactly what we asked for. Downtown Marshall is truly a gem, and so is Broadway Grille. I look forward to going back again soon! read more

Me and my friends go there almost every day food great sauces amazing. Just don't go from 2:30 pm till 4:00 pm there are lots of annoying middle schoolers but that's not the restaurants fault but staff and service is really good. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered a pepperoni and banana pepper pizza Friday around 6:30pm and the Doordarsher delivered a pepperoni and green pepper pizza. When I called Broadway I was told I would have to bring the pizza back to restaurant and they would remake it, I informed them I could not drive it back,we had it delivered for a reason. I nicely asked to speak to manager and was informed no one in charge was working. So out $$ for a pizza I didn't order and Broadway won't make it right. The employee didn't take my name or number or anything. After we picked off peppers it was good but I doubt we will order another pizza from there. read more

I can only speak for the chicken noodle soup. I had two bowls for lunch, and it was great! Service was prompt, very affordable as well.

We went to the Broadway Grille to have lunch with our daughters. While Hunny Bunny was in the rest room I asked Kristi if the BBQ Pizza was low cal and low fat. She laughed. When Hunny Bunny came to the table and we were ready to order I asked Kristi if the BBQ Chicken Pizza was low fat and low cal and she responded, "Yes!" I was able to get the 10" for myself. Hunny Bunny ordered the potato soup and fries. Our daughters shared a medium sized BBQ Chicken Pizza. The Pizza was Fantastic!! She shared her fries with me and they were very tasty and crisp. The downtown Marshall atmosphere is small town but the variety of businesses are big city. This was my first time at Broadway Grille but will come back. A half order of nachos was big, some came home with me. My friend took a generous portion home of the taco salad in a edible bowl. The waitress checked up on us several times earning a generous tip. read more

Formerly Marshall Pizza, the Sauce is bland and quite terrible. The restaurant looks neglected. Broadway sells under the former Marshall Pizza Brand and claims to be the best in town. No longer. It's a Decent Crust Sysco Sauce and Sysco Cheese with Blah Toppings and Canned Mushrooms. This needs a Major Over haul. As does all the Broadway Restaurants. Owner please fix your restaurants. I would not consider this restaurant a contender to all the other amazing restaurants in the area. I've lived here in Marshall for about a year now and have ate here at least a dozen times. I would suggest to go to anywhere else then here. The food is bland, the service is way below average and it's obvious they cut corners when it comes to qualiTy. So last night we went to the 2017 Marshall Blues Festival. The Dark Horse Brewing Company was set up and my friends Danae & the Grind were the beer tent band. Needless to say I didn't see much of the festival outside the beer tent. I tell you all that because after drinking more than my share of Dark Horses Crooked Tree IPA, I ventured out for something to eat. The festival was wrapping up and the choices were kinda limited. This place originally had a booth set up but all that was left at this time was the restaurant dining. We were greeted and seated right away by staff. As we sat down he mentioned that they closed in 5 minutes and they had already started shutting things off. The grill and fryer were still warm so we all ordered basic burgers and fries. One last beer to accompany the burger (duh). My review might be somewhat jaded by the afternoon of IPA's and blues, but I'd say it was a pretty good burger. Cooked well on some fancy sub style bread with the usual toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion). Fries were fresh cooked and seasoned well. If I could give a negative review I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. First we sit down and it took the waitress 10 minutes to come to our table. She forgot multiple drinks with our drink order, she never once refilled coffee, our appetizer took 30 minutes to be brought out, our lunch took one hour to be brought out and the waitress waited until that time to inform me that they didn't have French onion made yet for the day even though it was listed as a special. She then asked me if I wanted to order something else. When I asked for a manager she said they didn't have one or have anyone I could speak too. So I ended up with no lunch and a giant waste of time. Needless to say I will never return, and tell everyone to stay away. read more

The primary trait required at Broadway Grill is 'patience'. We waited 25 minutes to order - and then managed it only when I stopped the next employee who walked by. Another 15 minutes went by before our water and drinks arrived. The omelette took yet another 25 minutes - more than a full hour after it was ordered. Customers who arrived around the same time nearby obviously had a similar experience. While the omelette itself was decent enough, the hash browns were undercooked and toast stale. My wife tried the buffet - the food was of poor quality and laid out in a dark, unlit part of the restaurant. Now, trying to find something positive in the experience....our server was really nice and recognized the disaster that was unfolding. She did take 15% off our bill, which was appreciated. I was in town on business for 2 weeks, out of all the restaurants in town I visited this place the most. It's mostly an American type of eatery, what I imagine an American "home cooked" meal to be. Definitely try the Turtle Sundae! Service? A Food? B Atmosphere? C+ it could use some work I also loved that they support the local events and tailor to the community! Really good service, really good food. Was super happy when I had my choice of fries or soup with my sandwich, and I could pick French onion (too many places charge extra for French onion.) My husband got Scott's BBQ burger and loved it. I got a Philly cheesesteak. It was real steak on the sandwich, not just roast beef lunch meat. The only change I would have made was thinly sliced steak instead of a full thin cut steak. The kids got corndogs, and they actually ate EVERYTHING. That never happens. We'll be back! read more

Yes, 'Meh. I've experienced better." Not very bad, but certainly not very good. I got the Belgian waffles with apples, and homefries. Waffle was very soft and squishy/doughy, not the firm, sturdy waffle you'd often expect. Half the apples were piping hot, while several others were fridge-temp cold. Homefries tasted pretty decent, but were doused in butter and were pretty greasy. I also tried my friend's pancakes, and just kinda ok. I'm usually not very picky, but I didn't finish eating any of my food, and left not full. Prices were very affordable though. read more

I had some time between appointments so we decided to go get lunch. I think Marshal is a super cute town so I wanted to find a place that was unique to it. Whenever I go to a town I don't know I use Yelp to find places so that is what I did today. I saw that the reviews for the Broadway Grill were good so we decided to try it. This place did not disappoint. Like the other reviews said the salad bar was extremely fresh and the feel h onion soup was delicious. Even though I didn't have a sandwich the person I was with did and it was HUGE. I was told it was also really good. As we were eating we overheard some conversations and it was just cute that everyone seemed to know each other. The staff is very friendly and funny. Our waitress Kristi (I think that was her name) was amazing! The only bad thing was when we first came in there was a group of people that were obnoxiously loud so it made it hard for anyone else to talk but that isn't the restaurants fault so I am still giving them 5 stars. I went the for a late lunch on a Saturday and sat outside. The service was stellar. I ordered the southwestern salad and it was surprisingly tasty with a full chicken breast. I also had the French onion soup and while the broth and cheese were tasty, the bread was odd. More like Italian bread rather than French bread because it started to crumble in the soup.
