I went the for a late lunch on a Saturday and sat outside. The service was stellar. I ordered the southwestern salad and it was surprisingly tasty with a full chicken breast. I also had the French onion soup and while the broth and cheese were tasty, the bread was odd. More like Italian bread rather than French bread because it started to crumble in the soup. Overall, very nice. read more

My husband and I came to this restaurant for Saturday morning brunch. They have good prices for breakfast food, know how to cook bacon correctly and their eggs were fixed perfectly, fluffy and soft. Their prices were also priced reasonably. I had the Broadway sampler light with cinnamon raisin toast (which was amazing) and my husband had the French toast, he ate the whole plate very quickly! My husband also enjoyed he could watch College Gameday on the TV while eating. Very nice restaurant overall we will be back for breakfast definitely, and maybe try their dinner menu! read more

Stopped for lunch food was good wait staff was pleasant restaurant was clean would go back

The staff was rude and the atmosphere was terrible. The food was very sloppily prepared. definitely my least favorite restaurant Marshall

Went Monday around 4:30. Place was filthy right from the front door to floors to the wall by the booth. Flies everywhere. Had blackened grilled chicken salad. The blackened was something thick and disgusting. Old iceberg lettuce and no cucumbers and soft old tomato. Nasty. My daughter ordered a chicken burrito. Unseasoned chicken. It was just grilled and stuffed in a tortilla. Aweful tasting rice and beans. The service was good however. read more

Kate's was closed in Sunday so we tried the Broadway for breakfast. Nice staff, but coffee was terrible, breakfast order screwed up and food was "fine". read more

Best and freshest salad bar ever.Ask for Lydia and try to guess her middle name.A fun lady and she does a great job.

This little place is a must try. The salad bar was wonderful....crisp and fresh! We had the fish and chips.....the fish was wonderful, not frozen! We would highly recommend this place! The waiteress was so pleasant and on top of everything! We will visit this resturant again! read more

Stumbled upon this little gem while driving through town. Looked at the Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Sure glad we did. They have just got new customers. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying breakfast next. read more

We had dinner at the Broadway Grille in Marshall Michigan. The waitress was pleasant and timely. I ordered chicken fajitas. My wife ordered a chicken enchilada. The chicken in the fajitas was dry, overcooked, and literally tasteless. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she brought a little cup of spices. The chicken enchilada was slightly better, but not much. Overall, the dinner was not very good and we won't be coming back. read more

Can't even make what they have on the menu. Saw their website, called in a burger with a fried egg. The person on the other end of the line was dumbfounded. She said they don't do that, but she'll try. The burger came out was pre-formed (frozen), dry, and tasteless. Ordered onion rings on the side, they gave me five. Also ordered an Italian Sub. It wasn't ready when I arrived because they didn't have white bread. Had to wait 15 minutes in the restaurant for an order that was called ahead 30 minutes ahead of time because of that. read more

Had a great meal here! My wife had nachos, daughters had omelets (breakfast served throughout the day), I had a great sandwich. Plenty of food at a great price! I'll be back. read more

We love going here. They have an average but cheap salad bar, average food all around but priced decently. Make sure you try the PB pie, it's outstanding! The owner is kind and generous as well. read more

Well quite a busy place and good food, but not worth. When my husband and I walked in, we noticed it was very busy. There were a few tables open, but weren't cleaned. I noticed there were 2 servers. Our server seems much busier then the other girl. Ordered the Broadway platter and the country/southern potatoes were amazing. My over easy eggs were cooked over hard haha. The silverware was pretty dirty and the whole place in general was dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place unless they do take out. read more

we had the BYOB - build your own burger. Very good and came with a small salad bar as well. My son had grilled cheese and fries, gave it a "thumbs up". Service was fine, though one of the waitresses did have her small children milling about. read more

Not worth the wait. 45 minutes from order to getting lunch for two people. Just ordered a burger and a sandwich? Soggy, unsalted fries. Burger and sandwich were decent. read more

Amazing food! Restaurant is always clean... Love seeing that it's a family restaurant!

Nice, clean place. Great service amd good food. One of my favorite places to eat in Marshall!

This is a great restaurant with outdoor seating right downtown. The prices are good and the service is friendly. We've had the fajitas which you can share, the sandwiches are really big and you can share those too! Kid friendly. The desserts are great especially PB pie. You can get half sizes and they are more than enough. read more

Eat here only if you nothing else to do. All. Day. Went for breakfast. Waited at least 10 minutes before greeted and received menus. Waited 40 minutes from ordering to serving. Maybe they were waiting for chickens to lay the eggs. Family at table near us gave up trying to entertain their toddler. He left with the child she stayed and got the order to go. We gave up waiting for the check and trying to get waitress's attention and went up to find her. Food was pretty good though. And waitress was personable just not too attentive. No soap in ladies room. Yuck. Hope that's not where the servers wash their hands. As we were eating another waitress set dirty glasses on our table so she had a free hand. Really? There was an unoccupied table right by us Didn't leave with warm fuzzies. No need to go back read more

Really mediocre food which is over priced. Not worth the time or money! Fish and chips definally not recommended. Fish was soggy and not well battered. read more

The second Broadway Grille in Marshall provides well-prepared Americana food in a comfortable atmosphere. Excellent customer service, and great food. It's a perfect fit for the small town feel of this beautiful little shopping district. Had an awesome Reuben on marbled rye that was perfect. read more

Great comfort food. Friendly/congenial staff. Exceeded my expectations in all respects. Relaxed atmosphere that is welcoming to a family and/or adults. As a resident of Marshall I have had breakfast, lunch & dinner @ The Broadway Grille & have no hesitation @ taking friends from outside the area for a meal. read more

The food and service was wonderful. We stopped in with our 5 children and the staff was very accommodating. Our waitress was very sweet and patient and we all really enjoyed our food. Very reasonably priced, as well. read more

My wife had pancakes and I had the breakfast burrito. Bother were good sized and tasty. We had good service and I would recommend.

Service was good but do not order the philly steak they actually served it with Lunch meat

Skip and go somewhere else, poor service, average food, waitress inatentive. The staff sat around eating and drinking at bar and ignoring us, had to repeatedly ask for iced tea to be refilled, just terrible. read more

I have eaten here several times and I have yet to be disappointed. Very good food, very good service and a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy your meal. read more

will not come back better places to eat in town, waitress was too caught up talking and overcharged us by $16!

Warm and cozy, great place to eatI think it's one of the best places in Marshall Michigan to eat

It was just OK. Food was average, as was service. Unfortunately the AC was blowing right down on us the whole time, so not the most pleasant seating. I didn't find the place as squeaky clean as others have commented. Our table had residue on it, silverware had some "stuff" on the fork, and the restroom certainly could have been cleaner. read more

This only an average place with an expansive menu but it seems as if all of the food is micro-nuked. The atmosphere is not great and the numerous large TVs do not add much. The salad bar is sad. read more

I got take out from the grill, got back to my desk only to find out no catsup for the fries, no sauce for the chicken and no coleslaw as stated on the menu, what a huge disapointment. read more

Ribs and burgers are good. Salad bar is also very nice. And deep fried ice cream is to die for!

Excellent service! I loved the waitresses and the food. The breakfast is delicious and lunch and dinner are great as well. I have gotten the broccoli fettuccine Alfredo and loved it. There is also a lot of options for vegetarians and the veggie burger was delicious. read more

The staff has been pleasant but are not managed well. In the four times we have been there, not one of them was very familiar with the menu. Most said they'd only been ther a couple weeks or so. One night we were finishing our meal near closing time and a waitress was vacuuming the restaurant! The food is just mediocre - I ordered smothered chicken and I never knew a piece of chicken could b e pounded that thin, covered with a slab of cheese and fake bacon. Too salty for words. On last visit there was a group of about 6 adults and 8 kids. They were obnoxious , talking so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation, the kids running around screaming and yelling, and no one did anything to try and control what I thought was a dangerous state of chaos - isn't there some concern for waitresses carrying food through this mob scene. We never write reviews or complain but this is the straw that broke the camels back as they say. As we left, another family was leaving and their waitress was apologizing for something having to do with the food. We won't be back and certainly won't recommend it to any of our friends. Four strikes and you're out. read more
