Went Monday around 4:30. Place was filthy right from the front door to floors to the wall by the booth. Flies everywhere. Had blackened grilled chicken salad. The blackened was something thick and disgusting. Old iceberg lettuce and no cucumbers and soft old tomato. Nasty. My daughter ordered a chicken burrito. Unseasoned chicken. It was just grilled and stuffed in a tortilla. Aweful tasting rice and beans. The service was good however. read more

We had dinner at the Broadway Grille in Marshall Michigan. The waitress was pleasant and timely. I ordered chicken fajitas. My wife ordered a chicken enchilada. The chicken in the fajitas was dry, overcooked, and literally tasteless. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she brought a little cup of spices. The chicken enchilada was slightly better, but not much. Overall, the dinner was not very good and we won't be coming back. read more

This little place is a must try. The salad bar was wonderful....crisp and fresh! We had the fish and chips.....the fish was wonderful, not frozen! We would highly recommend this place! The waiteress was so pleasant and on top of everything! We will visit this resturant again! read more

Can't even make what they have on the menu. Saw their website, called in a burger with a fried egg. The person on the other end of the line was dumbfounded. She said they don't do that, but she'll try. The burger came out was pre-formed (frozen), dry, and tasteless. Ordered onion rings on the side, they gave me five. Also ordered an Italian Sub. It wasn't ready when I arrived because they didn't have white bread. Had to wait 15 minutes in the restaurant for an order that was called ahead 30 minutes ahead of time because of that. read more

Well quite a busy place and good food, but not worth. When my husband and I walked in, we noticed it was very busy. There were a few tables open, but weren't cleaned. I noticed there were 2 servers. Our server seems much busier then the other girl. Ordered the Broadway platter and the country/southern potatoes were amazing. My over easy eggs were cooked over hard haha. The silverware was pretty dirty and the whole place in general was dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place unless they do take out. read more

we had the BYOB - build your own burger. Very good and came with a small salad bar as well. My son had grilled cheese and fries, gave it a "thumbs up". Service was fine, though one of the waitresses did have her small children milling about. read more

This is a great restaurant with outdoor seating right downtown. The prices are good and the service is friendly. We've had the fajitas which you can share, the sandwiches are really big and you can share those too! Kid friendly. The desserts are great especially PB pie. Eat here only if you nothing else to do. All. Day. Went for breakfast. Waited at least 10 minutes before greeted and received menus. Waited 40 minutes from ordering to serving. Maybe they were waiting for chickens to lay the eggs. Family at table near us gave up trying to entertain their toddler. He left with the child she stayed and got the order to go. We gave up waiting for the check and trying to get waitress's attention and went up to find her. Food was pretty good though. And waitress was personable just not too attentive. No soap in ladies room. Yuck. Hope that's not where the servers wash their hands. As we were eating another waitress set dirty glasses on our table so she had a free hand. Really? The second Broadway Grille in Marshall provides well-prepared Americana food in a comfortable atmosphere. Excellent customer service, and great food. It's a perfect fit for the small town feel of this beautiful little shopping district. Had an awesome Reuben on marbled rye that was perfect. read more

It was just OK. Food was average, as was service. Unfortunately the AC was blowing right down on us the whole time, so not the most pleasant seating. I didn't find the place as squeaky clean as others have commented. Our table had residue on it, silverware had some "stuff" on the fork, and the restroom certainly could have been cleaner. read more

The staff has been pleasant but are not managed well. In the four times we have been there, not one of them was very familiar with the menu. Most said they'd only been ther a couple weeks or so. One night we were finishing our meal near closing time and a waitress was vacuuming the restaurant! The food is just mediocre - I ordered smothered chicken and I never knew a piece of chicken could b e pounded that thin, covered with a slab of cheese and fake bacon. Too salty for words. On last visit there was a group of about 6 adults and 8 kids. They were obnoxious , talking so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation, the kids running around screaming and yelling, and no one did anything to try and control what I thought was a dangerous state of chaos - isn't there some concern for waitresses carrying food through this mob scene. We never write reviews or complain but this is the straw that broke the camels back as they say. As we left, another family was leaving and their waitress was apologizing for something having to do with the food. We won't be back and certainly won't recommend it to any of our friends.
