What a great server we had today. Brandi was not only personable but took great care especially with my allergies. I had gf french toast with berries. She had the cooks leave off the cream cheese filling because it had gluten in it. Super sharp! Hubs had the super 7 breakfast and really enjoyed it. Cooked perfect. We were going to buy some lunch of the owners evoo but when I checked the label, it expired in July of 2025. Clean restaurant with cute decor. Good job Brandi! read more

My honey and granddaughter had the waffle a la mode and loved it. I had a blackened fish sandwich and it was amazing. Gentleman that served us was very friendly and helpful. Place is decorated well for its name. read more

Yuck. Cute place with potential but sadly way off the mark. From the disinterested hostess to inept server (who brought my bf the wrong breakfast, hardly checked in, was unfriendly) to my meat skillet wiith reheated frozen sausage crumbles and not melted cheese and so dry, to my bf's Hungry Farmer with partially raw sausage and chewy pancakes, all was a total fail. Avoid. read more

The food was phenomenal! They have gluten free bread and pancakes. I had the best pancakes and sausage ever. My husband had biscuits and gravy that he is still raving about. Our server was awesome. She gave us great advise when asked about the food and her service was impeccable. Definitely go there!! read more

Found a hair in our food, one only one dish but TWO and who knows what else, nobody came up and apologize, and we spoke with the host and she said" well she did take it off" okayyy and we deserved an apology, or a Manager to come up and apologize, this is unacceptable, nobody was wearing a hair net in the kitchen because you could see the kitchen from where we were sitting, We also did wait a while for are food and I get it was a Saturday but to wait for an hour for are food and then there's a hair in it very upsetting and ruined are appetites, we won't be back, and will tell everyone not to go here. read more

This is an update for our review from 2 years ago. Things have changed since then for the better. We have been back a few times and there is finally consistency with each visit. We ask for the young lady that had just started when we started going back. She was somewhat inexperienced but with each visit it seemed she is learning the job and is now our favorite waitress. The kitchen has definitely improved. Food comes out hot and prepared well every time. We are glad we gave them a 2nd chance. read more

Very friendly efficient service. Lots of room inside and not busy on weekday breakfast time. Seemed to have several local regulars there: but very accessible for highway traffic. My scrambled eggs were not greasy and cooked exactly the way I like them either a bit of cheese. Lots of hash browns included and sausage patty was decent. Nothing exceptional about the pancakes. Of note: the syrup was served in a slightly warmed olive oil bottle: this worked perfectly and I had never seen this! First time I have experienced syrup without any stickiness or mess. I note that my uncle literally invented the "drip proof" containers used for a bit by Staley's (?) syrup company, which never really worked. Another innovation in the restaurant is the way the condiments are organized on the table. BTW they also sell gourmet olive oils that come in different natural flavors from a small olive farm (overseas) managed by Ann Arborites. I will return next time I travel on I94, mainly to sample their other pancakes and crepes. read more

First sign of trouble was hostess yelling at staff. Menu looked good but food was terrible. Wife ordered a Power Bowl mistake chickpeas and tomato sauce with minimal spinach and broccoli. Looked horrible. My eggs were ok hash browns inedible and bacon looked old toast was ok. Steer clear of this place telling sign it was not busy. read more

I stoped here for breakfast on my way home to Chicago from Ann Arbor. What a pleasant surprise. Impressive menu, for a roadside stop. Food was well prepared and delicious. I will be back. read more

We stopped in here on 12/6/24 after trying this restaurant exactly one year prior. I will say the food is fine, prices are fine. The issue is the service, not good at all. Fairly certain the same staff as a year ago, our server definitely was. I paid attention to the entire restaurant (which wasn't packed there were about 13 people, likely less eating). The staff would disappear for long periods of time, talking back by the kitchen, would you like a refill of your coffee, sure if you would like to get it yourself. Refill on water, nope. How's your food can I get you anything else, no. When it was time to drop the bill, the lady came to the table, can I get you anything else, no. Dropped the bill on our table and walked away. When it was time to pay I had to wait for her to finish her conversation, then close out her cell phone app, then she arrived at the register told me the total and that was that. We won't be back again next year or ever again. You want a refill on your coffee it's a hard maybe, read more

You will never in your life find cheaper cars pancakes than here and they are amazing I got the full stack for 6 dollars!!!! The service is good they are nice. The environment is well decorated I love the inside read more

Stopped here with my daughter and her two children, ages 11 and 18. My daughter's ice water was undrinkable, very strong mineral flavor. My "southwest bowl" consisted of an enormous pile of canned chickpeas, a few bits of cubed chick, a tablespoon of shredded yellow tasteless cheese, and literally a teaspoon of avocado on top. All this was drowned in a canned enchilada sauce, the whole being nearly inedible. 18 year old's burger was ok, but her fries were VERY dark brown and soggy. My daughter's turkey Reuben consisted of one piece of turkey with a little mayo, slaw on the side was cabbage mush. Grandson's pancakes just ok. Nearly all entrees were not even lukewarm. Had to ask the waitress repeatedly for items she had forgotten to provide. Never going back, and will warn off everyone I know. read more

Good food, great service! Opens at 7. Clean. Service was quick. Nice American Breakfast all day

We were a little hesitant to try this restaurant because of the negative reviews. We had a very good experience. The place was clean, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was upbeat and very accommodating - we couldn't have had a better experience. There were a lot of regulars eating at the restaurant- that tells you a lot about the establishment. I would definitely stop again. read more

Cute little place off the highway :) service was great, food was portioned perfectly and the decorations were fun! Recommend highly! (It's a diner on the side of the highway, don't expect 5 star restaurant peeps!) read more

Had lunch with my mom and sister. Staff unprofessional from the start arguing over our seating in front of us. My sister ordered butternut squash soup and I ordered beef barley. The butternut soup was a very dark brown color and tasted horrible. My sister asked if she could change to the beef barley. Barley soup was a tan color, no beef visible and tasted like wallpaper paste. My mom ordered a cheese quesadilla. It came plain. Looked old and dry. She asked for salsa and sour creme. They brought salsa, then charged her $1 for it and didn't tell her. Waitress said they don't carry sour creme. Waitress then asked about the soup issue. She then proceeded to tell us how horrible the cook is, that he doesn't care what anyone thinks of his food and takes no pride in his work. Even after all that I wouldn't have complained. You get a bad meal now and again. It was the bill that had both soups for my sister, and the $1 for the salsa. I refused to pay for the soup that went back. When I took bill to counter and asked for manager, could see and hear the waitress yelling loudly to the cook all the comments we made. Then the manager came and was immediately confrontational. I said we sent a soup back because it was very bad. He said "No, YOU don't like it." I said I had issue paying for 2 soups, that were both horrible and no one ate any of. He said "its like the grocery store, you take, you pay." He said he would adjust the bill, but began harassing me, wanting me to tell him more for his benefit. He was very creepy, kept leaning towards me and had a menacing look. I told him what his waitress said about the cook, and he said I was benefiting him. I just wanted my change and to leave but he kept talking about his benefit. I finally said, I'm not here for your benefit, give me my change and we'll never be back. He then began yelling thank you and have a good day very condescendingly. My biggest regret was turning to the people waiting to be seated, who could hear this entire exchange, to turn and run. People of Marshall deserve better. They need the health dept. to stop by. read more

Horrible. Don't go. Hollandaise was a runny whiteish sauce, eggs were not cooked, ham tasted like it was reheated, fruit was old, and it was 13 dollars. Coffee was gross. My boyfriend's omelette was dry, small, and bland. Waitress was not friendly and engaging. Worst breakfast experience of my 40 years on this planet. read more

Super unwelcoming environment and the food is terrible. I ordered mac and cheese and potatoes, the mac and cheese was bland and the only part that tasted like anything was the shredded cheese on top. The potatoes were cut super tiny and I found a hair in them. Would never eat here again. read more

This place has went downhill since it opened. Our food arrived incorrect and cold - ice cold and the only option the manager would allow was to microwave our food. If an order is incorrect you should remake the order.. not suck it up and microwave it. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience- now it's just the last. Countdown to your closure. read more

I don't know how this place has so few reviews and bad ones at that. Maybe an off day? Ordered breakfast online and went to pick up. It was ready fast and yummy. First time here and wasn't disappointed it's close by and reasonably priced for how much food you get. They have a big menu and everything sounds so good I ordered the homer #2 and a Mickey pancake for my toddler and that thing was huge! She loved it! My French toast were big and fluffy! I wish they had a little extra flavor in the batter maybe cinnamon or vanilla or something but they were still decent. Excited to try new items and check out the inside. read more

The breakfast, classic eggs Benedict, was just so-so. Coffee was bad. Might have been stale. My sister had the pancake sausage rolls, which she said was okay. Employees were friendly. Restaurant was clean. If we tried there again, we would try lunch. Seemed there were a lot of "regulars" eating there. Convenient, right off freeway. read more

Great restaurant, lots of food choices. We had breakfast and food was delicious! We had the sweetest waitress, very attentive.

The breakfast is just average at best. I even tried the pancakes and nothing crazy. The place is decorated very nice.

Total rip off. Will not be back. I guess the owners have to pay for all the imported olive oil. So let's pass on the cost to the customers. read more

Free Range Pancake House - Turkey platter was $13.... two small pieces of turkey and some fries... what a rip off... - Pancakes Near Me - Marshall, Michigan

I chose this place to meet an old friend halfway between her town and mine. All the reviews seemed decent especially on Google. My experience was so so. I ordered a southern omelet and had them add hash browns inside as this was how I'd had it in other restaurants. I took my first bite and it was really wet. Turns out it was really undercooked. They quickly remade it for me although they forgot the hash browns inside that time. It was better but just ok. The table next to us had issues too. They had ordered Mac and cheese which was only noodles with some cheese melted on top. They had it taken off their bill. The server was nice, the restaurant clean and following all COVID protocol. read more

Looks beautiful on the outside and stunning on the inside me and my fiancé went to breakfast here in February and it was phenomenal. Good large portions and decent prices. The food was great lots to choose from and the staff was great too. I didn't find a single issue and I will be coming back! I actually wanted to order today for Mother's Day! Haha! read more

Not thrilled. A party of 5 of us are there early Sunday afternoon. My mother's sunnyside up eggs were raw and the waitress got an attitude when we asked them to be remade. Everyone's bacon was cold, as were the sausages, hash browns and gravy. The management didn't seem too concerned about the poor service, bad food and the wait staff attitude. read more

We've had brunch here several times. Service was great and they had their masks worn correctly. Food was great!

Terrible Customer Service. Management was very rude. Waited 40min to be seated while multiple large parties were seated prior too. When asked, the Manage said they had to wait for a table to open for us, and then berated us over asking the question. I place that apparently prides itself on a Family atmosphere is everything but. Not sure how they stay in business. Very Dissapointed read more

Eat there often, both breakfast and lunch. Food is always good, big portions and reasonable prices. Wait staff try real hard to please, very friendly. Highly recommend it. Much better than your usual highway restaurant. read more

Sadly I would give McDonalds a better Breakfast review then here. Waiting 30min to be seated while about a dozen tables were clear. Management was more concerned about cashing out orders then seating guest. After the long wait, we waiting nearly an hour for our food (mind you eggs and hasbrowns). To top it off, the food was cold and the order was wrong. Asked to speak with Management and was met with the Store Manager yelling at me and trying to blame me for the poor service. Absolutely disgusting & unprofessional. Will never eat here again. Very disappointed. read more

We waited an hour and forty five minutes for HALF of our food and another thirty for the rest. Ten out of ten do NOT recommend
