The smoke on the octopus was let down by the chewy inside, the pepper beef had a great flavor profile but also had too many fatty portions, the kung pao chicken cried for more peanuts. It definitely felt like a night on the town inside, which counts for a lot, but I'm not sure what I'd want to eat if I returned.

That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.

Yup, while in Prague, the first type of cuisine I ate was Asian. You know you're from Vancouver when... I ordered a "Thai" curry, and while it was nothing special, it wasn't terrible, and it filled me up. Since I was pretty tired and hungry, I didn't spend too much time looking over the menu. But the website shows that in addition to Thai food, they offer sushi and dim sum, amongst other things. And not only do they offer dim sum, but they offer non-pork dim sum, which is a plus in my books. They also have free wi-fi (password needed).
