Was looking to have a really good meal while on a business trip. I was able to snag a last minute reservation here (previous trip they were fully booked). The restaurant is very simple and modest, but the food is what real really shines here. I did the 6 course menu and wasn't disappointed! The courses are a bit of fusion, but you can def. get the asian influence in a lot of the dishes. One of the highlights was the clam dish, I'm not usually a fan, but here it hit the spot. The staff and servers were very welcoming. The prices are affordable considering the quality and amount of food you get. Will def. make a point to visit this place any time I'm back in Prague.

What a find! This place was not too far from my hotel and so glad I came here. Fortunately, I came early and did not have a reservation, yet was able to get seated immediately. For a person from NYC, this place was a gem and the price was extremely reasonable. If I had this meal in NYC, it would have cost at least 3-4 times the amount I paid in Prague. Some of my highlights: Pork Belly with Watermelon, Soft Shell Crab Slider, Clams with Yuzu Sauce and the Veggies.

By American standard, this is an inexpensive meal, by San Francisco foodie standard, this is an exceptional well executed Asian meal. Sit outside and you get the view of a water fountain and a nice church. British owner makes this place welcoming to English speaking tourists. My last day here before heading over to Stockholm's Marcus Samulesson's American Table. This is fabulous food for me to remember Prague as an international city with old Eastern European charm and modern Western world's cuisine de jour.

The organic beef curry - strong taste of coconut.. The fried roti was delish.

What a wonderful little restaurant! Ordered the banh mi, pork belly mini sandwiches, and the organic beef curry. Service was great! Food, exceptional! The dish that stood out the most was the pork belly... My gosh.. Absolutely delicious. Tip: go on a nice sunny day and sit outside. You'll have a view of a few nice buildings.

You get there and... You don't choose any course, no menu, nothing! You can let the waiter know that you are vegetarian or not a "4 legs meat" eater and they will accommodate something different (and delicious) for you. Food is great, is organic and tasteful. Service is great and waiters are nice Enjoy this excellent experience!!

Small but delightful spot in central Prague

Yup this is an easy one. Five stars for the entire meal. Prix fixe menu with some leeway if you don't like certain ingredients. 5 starters and one main. Our food was meticulously prepared and so flavorful. In New Town Prague. Quite centrally located. Small spot not for junior unless he or she is adventurous. We had Salmon sashimi, beef carpaccio, octopus in peanut sauce, pork belly with watermelon, soft shell crabs with Wasabi mayo, and a trout salad along with a shredded beef main. The sauces blend perfectly and can surprise with their subtle or bold flavors. This place is a must in Prague!

When it come to the ambiance and the service, there aren't any special. The waiters don't even talk Czech and the setting is not sth I would be super enthusiastic about but when it comes to food, this is truly amazing. I love their curry and almost any of their starters. Wines are well selected and coffee is ok. Desserts are a must!

Brian W. in a earlier review captured the essence of this restaurant perfectly. It was a two hour dinner experience, and it was definitely interesting. I've provided some additional photos for reference. My favorite thing was the mussels. The other items were presented with fairly uncommon tastes, but things were generally more sweeter than I personally preferred. Oysters on a half shell came from Normandy - they ain't got anything on US Oysters (I'm thing Long Island Oysters, ie. WellPoint, Bluepoint, etc). Cost was broken out by item even though it was a "surprise set menu" and there was no a la carte option at the time we came. Receipt was itemized to the bowl of rice. We didn't have a reservation, and we were able to get seated on a Friday evening. It looks like half the folks here had reservations and half didn't. I sat inside, and around 8:30 or so, I overheard that requests to sit outside were politely being denied. Outside seating shuts down at about 9 pm due to the law. It seemed like there was only one point in the evening at which a 30 minute wait had built up. We were so stuffed by the end of the night we couldn't even finish the main, no matter how much we tried. Stairs down the men's room dang near killed me, but then again, so did the super fast down escalators in some of the train stations, so it might be a local convention I'm unaccustomed with. Service was pretty decent for us. It seems to be a theme for us in Prague where service is a bit cold when waiting to get seated, but once settled in, the servers become as friendly as in the US.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Unpretentious, excellent, interesting food. Not even expensive for what it is.

OK food. Liked most of it. I'm vegetarian, so I think the meat eaters would enjoy it much more.

    Asian Temple - Bami Goreng

Food: I ordered the Bami Goreng, which is an Indonesian noodle dish, similar to pad thai. I have to say, it was actually quite good, as the noodles were cooked well and I have no complaints about the chicken and veggies in the bowl. The portion size was decent, although it was definitely a bit overpriced, at 499 CZK (~22 USD). Environment: It is very clear that this place is catered toward tourists. The decor is sort of a lavish yet tacky / stereotypically Asian style. For example, there is a gold Buddha statue, bamboo, fish tanks, and more along those lines. That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.
