Was looking to have a really good meal while on a business trip. I was able to snag a last minute reservation here (previous trip they were fully booked). The restaurant is very simple and modest, but the food is what real really shines here. I did the 6 course menu and wasn't disappointed! The courses are a bit of fusion, but you can def. get the asian influence in a lot of the dishes. One of the highlights was the clam dish, I'm not usually a fan, but here it hit the spot. The staff and servers were very welcoming. The prices are affordable considering the quality and amount of food you get. Will def. make a point to visit this place any time I'm back in Prague.

By American standard, this is an inexpensive meal, by San Francisco foodie standard, this is an exceptional well executed Asian meal. Sit outside and you get the view of a water fountain and a nice church. British owner makes this place welcoming to English speaking tourists. My last day here before heading over to Stockholm's Marcus Samulesson's American Table. This is fabulous food for me to remember Prague as an international city with old Eastern European charm and modern Western world's cuisine de jour.

What a find! This place was not too far from my hotel and so glad I came here. Fortunately, I came early and did not have a reservation, yet was able to get seated immediately. For a person from NYC, this place was a gem and the price was extremely reasonable. If I had this meal in NYC, it would have cost at least 3-4 times the amount I paid in Prague. Some of my highlights: Pork Belly with Watermelon, Soft Shell Crab Slider, Clams with Yuzu Sauce and the Veggies.

The organic beef curry - strong taste of coconut.. The fried roti was delish.

What a wonderful little restaurant! Ordered the banh mi, pork belly mini sandwiches, and the organic beef curry. Service was great! Food, exceptional! The dish that stood out the most was the pork belly... My gosh.. Absolutely delicious. Tip: go on a nice sunny day and sit outside. You'll have a view of a few nice buildings.

You get there and... You don't choose any course, no menu, nothing! You can let the waiter know that you are vegetarian or not a "4 legs meat" eater and they will accommodate something different (and delicious) for you. Food is great, is organic and tasteful. Service is great and waiters are nice Enjoy this excellent experience!!

Small but delightful spot in central Prague

Yup this is an easy one. Five stars for the entire meal. Prix fixe menu with some leeway if you don't like certain ingredients. 5 starters and one main. Our food was meticulously prepared and so flavorful. In New Town Prague. Quite centrally located. Small spot not for junior unless he or she is adventurous. We had Salmon sashimi, beef carpaccio, octopus in peanut sauce, pork belly with watermelon, soft shell crabs with Wasabi mayo, and a trout salad along with a shredded beef main. The sauces blend perfectly and can surprise with their subtle or bold flavors. This place is a must in Prague!

When it come to the ambiance and the service, there aren't any special. The waiters don't even talk Czech and the setting is not sth I would be super enthusiastic about but when it comes to food, this is truly amazing. I love their curry and almost any of their starters. Wines are well selected and coffee is ok. Desserts are a must!

Kari's Rating 9.5/10…read more TLDR: -12/10 would come back! -Welcome shot was delicious -Rice is NOT included in the protein entrees -No shortage of Sauces My travel group and I have been in Prague for about four days and we've been rotating cuisines from traditional Czech, Italian, bakeries, candy shops, and now hitting Chinese. Coming from someone of Chinese descent, I thought the dishes were relatively authentic. A lot of the dishes we got included the Kung pow chicken, the braised, short rib, the drunken noodles, the black pepper, beef, and a Tom Kah soup. Not that I thought the soup would have be huge portion-but I wish the soup would have had a little bit more substance as it contained a slice of king oyster mushroom, a few noodles and a single piece of chicken. I did have to order rice on the side to substitute more of a substantial meal as this was considered my dinner. I was shocked that none of the protein oranges came with rice which I thought was a little bit weird but we all had a tag on a side of rice which was 68 crowns- or $3 .15. Again, not a huge deal, and the waiter did mention none of the dishes came with rice-so it was almost an automatic tag on. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area!

This is a beautiful, multilevel restaurant with an impressive design and interesting atmosphere…read more The space is definitely eye-catching, although some of the tables, especially on the lower level, are way too small for a group of five once all the dishes start arriving. We've even warned our server even before we started. The service was pleasant and responsive. A special thank you to Teresa V. for pleasant evening and for saving my glasses - really appreciated that!!! Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Out of everything we ordered, the squid was probably the only thing that was somewhat enjoyable. We ordered three Tom Kha soups, and all were so salty that we had to send them back. The squid and calamari dish was okay only for the squid; the calamari was dry and over-fried. The curry sauce underneath was also confusing and completely covered the natural taste of the squid. The unagi wontons (2 orders) had a strange, rubbery texture, and the prawn ones were even harder to enjoy (left behind). To top it off, we were charged for a welcome drink?! Beautiful place and good service, but unfortunately, the food was far below expectations. For the price and reputation, this was a very disappointing experience, and I definitely won't be rushing back anytime soon.

We were seated and menus given. There is a large selection of Thai-inspired food, as well as sushi, sashimi and other Asian dishes. We ordered cocktails and water which came out quickly. Our server took our orders; we had a tasty tom yum soup, vegetable spring rolls, and spicy edamame to start. We then had an amazing red curry shrimp and a tamarind Pad Thai. Honestly, the best Thai I've had in awhile. Service is prompt and friendly. Our waiters were accommodating and came by often to ask if we needed more cocktails or anything else. There's a hotel upstairs and it's located in the Old City part of Prague. The bill was $3200 Koruna which is about $114 USD, not including top. If I'm ever in Prague again, I'd definitely eat here.

The service was great, faster than most places in Praha. The only bad thing is the people smoking hookah pipes. This guy was sitting behind us literally puffing in between his sushi eating. Luckily, there were seats we jumped to across from us. The restaurant was definitely busy. Should at least stop by for drinks since this restaurant is spendy unless you are with your sugar daddy.

Food: I ordered the Bami Goreng, which is an Indonesian noodle dish, similar to pad thai. I have to say, it was actually quite good, as the noodles were cooked well and I have no complaints about the chicken and veggies in the bowl. The portion size was decent, although it was definitely a bit overpriced, at 499 CZK (~22 USD). Environment: It is very clear that this place is catered toward tourists. The decor is sort of a lavish yet tacky / stereotypically Asian style. For example, there is a gold Buddha statue, bamboo, fish tanks, and more along those lines. That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.

Some of the best food I've EVER had the fortune of tasting (I was literally licking every last drop from start-to-finish), and truly beats some 2 and 3 Michelin Stars in the US through and through. Molecular, let alone modern, gastronomy at its absolute finest!!! BACKGROUND: I was in Prague for work last month and just so happened to have a free evening on my last night before flying out the next morning to Santorini again! There are only 5 seatings per night and I was sooooo lucky to have grabbed the last one. I chose the 18-course Mystery Menu (3000 KC) and it honestly BLEW. MY. MIND. Complete sensory overload! FOOD: Without spoiling too much since the mystery is part of the experience, there are 6 "series" of courses with 3 courses per series, each series featuring a Flora course, an Aqua course, and a Fauna course. Per the restaurant website: (1) Flora - "Here, fruits of the forest meet exotic tropical Asia. Flora is where molecular gastronomy offers unexpected, daring combinations to stimulate your taste buds. If you are a vegetarian or lover of light foods, this is the menu for you." (2) Aqua - "Freshwater fish that always been revered by both Nordic and Asian chefs, and Aqua symbolizes the perfection of our fusion. At Levitate, Nordic ingredients and preparation methods meld with Asian herbs and our unique sauces. The result is a mixture of flavours that will enchant all your senses" (3) Fauna - "The philosophy of Nordic cuisine emphasizes the use of local ingredients. Fauna will thus for example include Wagyu beef from certified local farmers, duck with garlic and five spices, or a dessert of foie gras immersed in hot chocolate with tofu chips as a reminder of our Asian cultural heritage" Opted for a bottle of local pinot noir that was recommended by the sommelier and it made an already special evening truly unforgettable! I would do a stopover in Prague on my future trips to Europe just to dine here again and again and again!!!
