This is the best meal in Prague so far. We ordered the hot and sour soup, duck in sizzling plate, fish with green mustard vegetables and bak choi. Duck, fish and vegetable are excellent. The hot and sour soup was too sweet, skip this one. Excellent service and the place was clean.

Chinese restaurant within walking distance from Hilton Prague (by the river, 0.2 miles). Friendly servers. Pleasantly surprised by the meat dishes. Especially the hot plate duck, tender meat with crispy skin, wish there was more on the plate. Sweet and sour pork ribs were on point too. Gyoza is delicious, as is the fried rice. Mapo tofu is mediocre. Would avoid all noodle and soup dishes. The noodles and soup was below average in quality and flavor. (Written by my husband)

After all the heavy foods we've had in Prague, we were craving something different. So, I searched for a Chinese restaurant on Google and the first result was Gui Lin. It wasn't too far from our hotel, so we took a stroll over at about 8pm. It's located near the Bus Terminal and not on a main road. We were one of 2 tables when we walked in, but soon after, a bus load of Chinese tourists came through and filled the back room. I suppose that's a good sign. The staff were friendly and spoke English, which was a necessity for me and my finacé since neither of us speak or read Czech. The menu also had English so that was very helpful. The food was very good. We started with a (huge) egg roll served with pickled cabbage and carrots as well as à the crispy shrimp (5 pieces). For our main, we ordered the Savoury and Crispy Duck which was served on a bed of pickled cabbage and carrots with a dipping sauce as well as an order of Fried Rice (chicken, beef and pork). Everything was served hot and tasted excellent.

It was amazing!! Nice to switch it up!! Everything was perfect!! Ma Po Tofu, Crispy Duck, rice noodle, bamboo shrimp, and my son Cameron's favorite sweet and sour chicken! Highly recommend this place.

After having sausages, goulash and pork knees for three days, my tummy was crying for Chinese food. If you are looking for "down to earth" homemade Chinese food, this is the place to go. It is not a tourist trap although many Chinese tourists came here more than once because it is so good. The girl working at the front is so nice. The chef is a funny and friendly guy too. We spent €27 in total on two dishes, one bowl of soup and one bowl of rice, and left feeling full and satisfied. This is place is indeed a hidden gem as it is located on a quiet street and the restaurant itself is in a basement. However, good wine need no bush. In my opinion, this place is far better than those overcharging fusion Asian restaurants. 兄弟姐妹们,快去吧,在异国他乡能吃到像样的中餐就是福气!

There was no greeting, just a menu dropped on the table while she walked away. When we tried to ask a simple question, she said look at the menu and walked away. Any attempt at polite engagement was shut down with curt answers. I don't need red-carpet treatment, but basic human decency shouldn't be too much to ask for. If you're looking for a peaceful dinner where you feel welcome, you might want to look elsewhere--or just stick to takeout.

Didn't think much of it until we couldn't get seated at the sushi restaurant. We were seated right away near the entrance. It's hot in Praha in the summer!!! We order about 6 dishes and they were pretty decent for Europe. Coming from the San Gabriel Valley, Chinese food has to be exceptional and I think this place could survive in SGV as a mom and pop business. We ordered duck, fried rice, a fish dish, a corn soup, beef and broccoli (yep, I was traveling with young children, hahaha). These were dishes that pleased all of us. They were very decent especially if you're missing some Asian flavors in Praha.

My most favorite Činsky bufet, if you will. Many a night, my fellow vegetarian roomie and I would order take out from this place and carry it home to drink with 20kč bottles of Gambrinus and Staropramen from the potraviny on the first floor of our apartment building, rice and veggies doused in Thailand on a Plate sweet chile sauce, which has somehow never tasted as good as it did back then. Back in the day, Prague wasn't exactly a haven for vegetarians, so my options here--and a shit ton of other places as well--were awfully limited. But I was a big fan of the one veggie plate they had. I don't even really remember what it was anymore. Saucy vegetables consisting of mostly cabbage with a side of rice is what I remember. God, I loved that shit. I craved it. I still crave it sometimes, honestly. The Czech equivalent of lipgloss greasy lo mein at cheap Americanized Chinese places, it surely hit the spot. I honestly don't believe I ever ordered anything else from this restaurant. 4 stars may be a bit excessive, especially given that I haven't even been in the country since May 2007, but this place made me happy when I was in Prague. And it's a little daunting to be a shy, self-conscious girl in a country where a lot of people don't speak your language (I think a lot has changed since 2007); going out to eat and all that jazz was a little hard for me. Having this restaurant in my neighborhood, a mere hop skip & jump from my apartment, was really nice. Oh, Prague Chinese food, how I loved you. I will never forget you. Maybe eventually you'll be mine again. I can only hope.

Service is terribe. They forgot about my order and brought me food when my friends were done eatingread more
