It honestly tasted like just beef broth and throw in Viet ingredients (like noodles, some bean sprouts) and call it Pho. The beef broth wasn't the strong flavorful Vietnamese broth- like with like star anise, cinnamon, cooked down beef bone, etc. tasted like regular beef broth from a can. The egg roll was pretty good though. It wasn't bad though. It was a nice change from the Czech food. I saw the vermicelli, and that looked delicious!

Then we waited an hour for the next courses and had to remind the waitress that others arrived after us, were served and finished. The final dishes came which were good or very good. Lemongrass grilled pork and cucumber salad - okay but better in Paris. Banana leaf duck, very good. Caramelized catfish (basa) very good but had better in California. Even though the restaurant was emptying out, we could not get refills on drinks. 3 of us are African American, one white. Seemed that the black folks were ignored. I had to think that's the reason for the poor service. After complaining, and we rarely complain, they did offer a 10% discount.
