Another Amazing meal in Prague. Not that I give a fuck but this is a 'place to be seen'. Expensive and lots of sexy people around. Somewhat away from the tourist areas so it seemed more local. Everything we ate was superb. From the tataki, to the octopus dish, to the scallops, to the peanut crusted chicken. Just superb from beginning to end. The cocktails were a bit weak and while I had 3 of them, I wasn't barely buzzed. Very attentive service in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Our last night in Prague, and my husband wanted to go out for Asian fusion? I tried to talk him out of it, I am so happy he won that argument. This place is beautiful, I love zen atmosphere. The service was amazing, so attentive and very detailed. I had never washed my hands with a leaf before eating a meal. Odd, but the aroma was great. The menu is very diverse, small plates meant to share. Everything was amazing. Favorites were the duck, shrimp, sushi and my family that enjoy red meat loved the beef. Desert called for the ice cream, a lovely plate of three flavors. Yes, this was probably our most expensive dinners on the trip, but it was also the most memorable. We like to indulge in the adult beverages so that always doubles the price. By the way don't be concerned about the industrial area feel. They have a huge night club they rent out for weddings and parties next door. Enjoy!

Not the easiest place to find if you're not familiar with Prague. But once you finally get there, it's worth it. So we visited for a birthday celebration and on the phone they informed us that our server would take care of it and bring us a dessert with sparklers. We were quite excited. The place is pretty. The food is fantastic. They don't have a traditional menu of starters and mains. It's split into cooking styles so we did a mix and match of everything. Highly recommend the food here. The service was great until they got us the meat shawarma instead of the vegetarian shawarma. And when we informed our server of this, she yelled at us for shouting at her, and all my friend said is in the lowest voice possible was this is a meat one but we ordered the veg one. We were a bit perplexed as we just got yelled for pointing out their mistake. After this we decided to cancel the veg shawarma. 5 minutes later our server said we're bringing the shawarma and we said but we just told you to cancel it. She stood there saying no I'm bringing it. When it came to the dessert, a friend of mine went upto her to remind them for the sparklers, she asked us who it was for and we told her for the girl in the red dress. After that she asked us twice who the sparklers are for and that too in front of everyone at the table. So obviously the surprise element was out the window. Go for the food and I guess just hope that you don't get the service we did.

This was my 3rd visit and the food and service and the atmosphere were exceptional! They are a bit on the more £££ site, so it is rather a treat, but definitely worth it Má 3tí návštěva a jak naše ochutnávky, tak servise a hlavně atmosféra opravdu stály za to! Zkušenost vás bude stát pár tisíc Kč, ale určitě se vyplatí alespoň jednou za život ATMOSPHERE - the location is in a bit unexpected place of Prague old fashion market, however once you enter it has a wow factor. I might understand why such location is good for celebrities who want to visit.. Such a good tunes! Parov Stelar kind of music.. FOOD - the best raw fish roll I've ever had so far with the best salat! But even the rest of food was very lovely and cocktails personalised and like a dream.. SERVICE - very attentive but not overly enthusiastic, just perfect balance - and if you wish, you can get even shoulder/neck massage. TIMING - perfect, but even if it wouldn't you wouldn't mind VALUE - quite expensive but definitely worth it It is truly alchemy of tastes, colours, sounds and design

For me definitely one of my most favorite places in Prague. I love everything about it - the awesome, zen atmosphere that is perfect for romantic dinners as well as dinners with friends, the attentive and friendly staff as well as their delicious meals. Whenever I come to Sasazu, I immediately feel like being in a different world, far away from the stress and chaos. The best is to come here for relaxed, sampling dinner. The portions are rather small as the concept is based on guests trying various meals during their visit. It is great to come here with friends and to be sharing the meals. I have never had a bad meal in here, some of the meals are not that typical and at first you might expect to get something different, but trust me that at the end you will love all of them. I can higgle recommend their Thai Papaya Salad and their rolls. As a dessert, definitely try their creme brule and the white chocolate espresso.

I've been at a variety of different Asian restaurants around the world, both traditional and fusion -- and this place definitely stands up to them when it comes to food. They use some great, upscale ingredients here (such as foie gras) and have put together very interesting, thought-out fusion dishes (rather than just throwing a bunch of different Asian dishes on the menu). The atmosphere and decor is also very cool -- and reminded us of something we might find in Miami. It's very trendy, while still being comfortable. We had a raw fish dish as a starter, and the fish tasted very fresh, and the citrus sauce was a perfect pairing. The Singapore Crab Chili (soft shell crab) also came with a really great spicy almond/chili/coconut sauce that we loved. The Lamb Lollipops were a great, sizable portion of 3 lamb ribs with an almost Mediterranean-style sauce. One of our favorite things was actually the Red Curry Beef and Shrimp, because the curry was actually spicy -- and it's pretty difficult to find good spicy dishes in Europe (and I'm of the opinion that curry should always be spicy). The Stone Oven Crispy Duck (peking duck, foie gras, cucumbers) was one of my favorite things, but I'm not sure it needs to be wrapped in a pancake, as they suggest. When the ingredients are that nice, just let them shine on their own. Honestly, our only qualm with the place was the service (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). Our server was very attentive and helpful, but it felt a little disingenuous. We ordered an Asian Mojito on his suggestion (which was really good actually), but his suggestions for me (as a female) were all sweet cocktails, and I said I don't like sweet drinks. So I ended up ordering the Ginger Tini despite his suggestions (which was fantastic by the way). Then when I asked for another one, he recommended I try something else, so I got the Green Geisha -- because mint and cucumber sounds delicious, right? Wrong. It tasted like a melon lollipop, and I didn't feel like forcing it down, so I politely apologized and said I just couldn't drink it and asked for another Ginger Tini instead. Did I get charged for the cocktail I sent back, though? You bet I did. It's not a large amount of money, but it just wasn't a great ending to our dinner. Our server's suggestions also just seemed generally strange. When my boyfriend ordered a Czech beer, he tried to convince him to get a Thai beer (but it's actually easy to get Thai beer in the US, so to us, Czech beer was more interesting to try). And his suggestions for food seemed weird, but maybe that's just us. We ended up ordering the opposite of everything he suggested, and were very happy with our choices. Hey, maybe the tuna roll and papaya salad are delicious, I don't know -- but those seem like very basic things to suggest off a menu like theirs. So my suggestion? Read reviews about what other people really liked, or go with your gut.

I read about SaSaZu time and time again in blogs about where to eat in Prague, and I decided to splurge a bit from my normal price range and try it out for lunch. I have no problem paying extra money for a good meal, but I didn't think that the food warranted the hefty prices and hype that this restaurant gets. Although I came during normal lunchtime hours on a Friday, the restaurant was nearly empty inside. Loud techno music was blaring inside which made SaSaZu feel less like a restaurant and more like a club. I wasn't very hungry, and I had the Phnom-Penh fish. I asked my waiter whether he would recommend something small to accompany it, and he recommended the wasabi fries. The fish was decent, but I didn't like the combination of the sweet cauliflower purée and bread with it. I can tolerate a lot of spice, but the wasabi sauce for the fries was a bit much for me. I don't know if it was just this particular batch of sauce that was particularly spicy, but I would assume that someone with a normal spice tolerance wouldn't go near the sauce I had. All in all I'm not disappointed I went to SaSaZu: it was good to try out of a place so highly recommend on travel blogs. However, I would not return there, especially given other great (and cheaper!) restaurants in Prague (see my other reviews for more information).

Literally one of the best meals of my life ! Enjoyed an amazing time with friends and a massage after dinner ! Incredible. Would come to Prague again just for this place

My wife is Thai and she read about this before our trip to Prague. We made reservations and were promptly seated. Tried the Chef's Menu, which more than enough for tow. Great variety, amazing tastes, and it was one of the best meals that we have had in our European trip, so far. Decoration is amazing and so was the service. This is not authentic cuisine, it is Asian fusion. We would go back if we returned to Prague.

Chef's starter was a perfectly grilled pork neck. And then it kept getting better from there - Bloody Mary oyster shooter, salmon sashimi with citrus, soy and sesame (a standout) pork belly, lamb wrapped in what can only be described as two leaves that resembled the taste of black pepper and mint (unreal!), razorneck clams in a yuzu broth with grilled bread, soft shell crab sliders with horseradish on bao, and grilled pork with papaya salad and coconut rice (perfection!). At the end of the day if there is a Michelin star and dining prices are this high, there needs to be an expectation on food safety habits which this boils down to.
