We were anticipating a decent meal based on its popularity and Vietnamese staff serving the food. I had the beef noodle soup in Hue style (Bún bò Hue) which seemed to be one of the go-to dishes. Why not 4/5-stars like everyone else? Perhaps I've been spoiled with pho and similar noodle soups elsewhere but the taste was sub-par. The soup was relatively bland despite the intense appearance, and seemed to be missing the umami beefy flavor or much herb garnishing. A bit disappointed that it came with mostly lettuce but it was at least mildly spicy and sour. The saving grace was that soup was hot and the noodle portion was satisfying. I must say, locals seem quite generous with their restaurant reviews. Maybe I'm missing something, since they could just be limited by the availability of some asian ingredients despite their extensive menu.

The service was immediate and our server understood English well. There is an extensive menu as we usually find in Vietnamese restaurants. We both ordered a beef noodle bowl called Number 19, Bun nem Ha Noi. It was very easy to enjoy although some stronger flavours would have been nice. Our meals left us with enough room for dessert somewhere else.

I didn't have high hopes when I came here but they blew me away. The place is quite modest but the food is really good. Real authentic homemade Vietnamese food that you can taste. I was really starving so I ordered a little bit of everything on the menu which wasn't too expensive especially in Prague. I got the stir fried noodles, pho, and a rice dish and they all were delicious. The staff were also very friendly and nice, and answered all the questions we had as tourists. Overall, definitely a Vietnamese food gem in prague, definitely reccomend trying this place is you have a craving for Vietnamese food.

Vietnamese soup for dinner is about as far from Czech stodge as you can get, right? The pho was delicious. I chose a pho ga, which is chicken in a chicken broth. Not spicy but flavorful and plenty of it. Good chicken, plenty of noodles, lots of veggies. I also had an order of summer rolls, which they initially forgot and then apologetically brought to the table after a polite reminder. Pilsner Urquell and other beers available in cans or bottles. English was spoken by all, quite well. The menu is also in Czech and English. [Review 12226 overall, 2010 of 2019.]
