    Wish I could put negative stars. I still have nightmares from this. I rented from M & M properties…read more M & M properties did not abide by the law and scammed my family and I. I especially caught Marie and Cindy in illegal acts! Marie is a "partner" of M & M properties and acted very uneducated and unprofessional. I only include Cindy because I physically gave her a notice of deficient conditions and she is working for very poor management. M & M properties acted very ILLEGAL. They lied, stole, acted uneducated, scammed me and was a very uncaring property management to us. To be brutally honest, this business should be be shut down. Especially if Marie is gonna try to run it and scam others! I would not believe a WORD they are saying. And I have pics to prove it. They moved my family and I into a cockroach and black widow infested townhome at 52 W Merrimac Ave Salt Lake City Utah! Which also has black mold in the unit. This unit also DOES NOT have Co2 detectors with gas appliances and no smoke alarms! How could I have not realized they were putting my family and I in such an unsafe and unsanitary unit!? I even called the health department on them. We put in multiple maintenance requests. Still having issues and then we served them a notice of deficient conditions for multiple reasons and no action was taken. Not a shocker.. so we moved out ASAP! Which they did not refund my full security deposit immediately after move out which is stated in the Utah Fit Premises Act after serving a notice of deficient conditions. We lived there 1 MONTH and they took $250 out of my $1450 deposit for "cleaning fee" when it was in the same condition then we moved in. THE FIRST NIGHT WE STAYED WE FOUND COCKROACHES COMING UP FROM INSIDE THE VENTS FROM UNDER THE UNIT!! I told them the second I found them. And guess what Marie said? "Those are Beatles" They even tried to act like they didn't know. Which I caught them in that lie. The neighbor also verified he has had cockroaches and sprays every other week for them. Ofcourse they are nocturnal pests. So Ofcourse we didn't see them when viewing the townhome but sure did see them every single night/morning after. Also got pest control to verify they are cockroaches. I have a 3 year old daughter and a dog. I can't live with a large infestation of cockroaches and black widows. M & M properties acted illegal, stole, acted uneducated, scammed and is a very uncaring property management. I will be taking them to small claims court. My family and I couldn't eat, sleep, or shower for a full month but still gave them all my income. Took such a toll on my mental and physical health. I also thought it was weird when the lease said $3,000 lease buy out fee. I can't believe I was so blind. If you want to get messed over then go ahead and try to do business with them. Definitely not worth $1450 deposit and $1600 for rent a month. What a joke. Wish I read other reviews first. I would also check out yelp. Hope this spreads some truth and awareness so nobody else has to deal with it.

    Bunch of con artist and thieves!…read more Let's start with the maintenance issues. EVERY single time I submitted a maintenance request it would get marked as completed two days later and no one EVER showed up to the property to fix the issues. I ended up doing all of the maintenance work to the property because well I couldn't live in a broken house! Additionally, I left complaints about this numerous times that were never addressed. Customer support...it doesn't exist. I lived there for two years and no one ever contacted me for tours, moving in or out, complaints, or maintenance. It was all computer-generated emails and text messages with no way of getting a hold of an actual person. The only time I got response from a person was asking for more money upon moving out due to fees I was unaware of that actually existed. Next is the moving out issues. I notified the company that no one was resigning the lease, we had picked out a move out date that was prior to the lease end, and picked an inspection date of the property. I was later sent an email saying to fill out a notification to vacate which was on a different webpage than the rest of the forms (still have not talked to a human). A month after the lease ended I was sent a LARGE bill without any prior notifications. I was unaware of the short clause in the large rental agreement that stated I was get a FEE PER DAY due to the vacate notice being late. No one notified me of this and they gave me an email address to dispute it. I received an email basically telling me to pound sand, pay them or ruin your credit kind of interaction. This is the ONLY notification I have received from another human about this property. If you wish to live in a house that will ultimately work to screw you over financially then by all means move your family here! If you wish to get ahead in life I would avoid them like the plague. It is a bunch of lawyers in New York sending mail through a PO box in Arizona who are buying up subdivisions.

It cost me $350 just to apply for a rental * after paying to just tour the house* without informing any customer beforehand of the fees and what to expect with apparently variations to each person * is it two months rent? Two months plus a deposit? Two months plus deposit plus lease acceptance fee?* * and now we are out the $250 "holding fee"because we see too many red flags to continue with them. Being a small business owner this is absolutely devastating!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

    36 Gateway Court The…read morewhole staff needs to be fired and replaced. The Housing Authority needs to shut this place down. No one cares about anything outside of getting more people in ABs collecting their rent. The property is unsafe. There are dope fiends everywhere. The office people were informed about who was selling drugs out of the apartments but did nothing. They have relentless roaches and never spray for them. The units are infested with mold. My sink never work for the entire 6 months that I was there. I began draining it myself since no one ever came out. Around the 4 month mark, they sent in 2 guys who had no idea where they were doing. Both left smelly liquid all over the floor when they left and one of them caused the leak to become worst than it was when they came. Management never took responsibility for anything. They lie about everything. They argue about everything. There was a literal smell of sewage coming through the pipes. The manager is one of the worst people to ever be responsible for anything and those in charge making her the manager is a reflection of just how terrible at making decisions this company is. I'd recommend any street corner over this place.

The other office girls I never met in person were always very kind via emails. Jessica-the local girl who helped tenants or fixed minor problems is very nice, helpful and kind. The maintenance guys are the best. They know what they're doing. All in all and through thick and thin they all are wonderful. But once again Lisa B. - there's only one and she's amazing!
