I've live in the area for 17 years and I'm also a business owner (so I can appreciate the value of a client). I currently rent a unit (and have rented in the past from them). I've never had any issues paying my rent. Over the past 10 or so weeks I've been traveling in and out of town and have neglected some of my obligations (I currently owe them ONE month rent $290.00). I called the place and spoke to Kelly (who is always pleasant), advised her of the situation, then asked if they double locked my unit (which they advised me that they had). I told her I would pay her on Friday (that is when I will be back) and asked if she would remove their lock because one of my guys needed to pick something up. She asked (I guess her boss) and he said no. I asked if I could speak with him, he picked up the phone; I was in the middle of explaining the situation when he interrupted me and started talking over me. I let him speak (it's the professional thing to do) and when he was finished I started speaking again, asked his last name so I could address him properly. He refused to give it to me, told me I didn't need it. Of course, he interrupted me again, told me it was my problem and he wasn't unlocking the unit until I paid him. He basically made me feel like a thief, like I was going to skip out without paying him his money. When I tried to tell him that he was making me feel like I was trying to steal from him, he again cut me off and told me I was wrong (I don't know how he could possibly tell me how I am feeling). After again letting him finish his rant, I again tried speaking. Again I was cut off and told too F***ING bad. I then reminded him that I was his client and didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me, using foul language, raising his voice to me and making me feel like a thief. I told him that since he didn't have any respect for his clients, I didn't need to be one and that I would move my stuff out by the end of the month. He then told me to get my F***ING STUFF OUT and hung up in my face. I would say, if you can avoid doing business with Putnam Self Storage, RUN LIKE YOU ARE ON FIRE!!!

Went online, saw pricing info, reserved my space, and that's it! I ended up emailing and asking to see if I could move in sooner than the reserved date. Donna immediately responded, said to come on in during their working hours and that's what we did! It was so easy. We walked in, she pulled up my reservation. Signed the contract. Was even able to purchase a lock through them. So easy. Unfortunately the unit we got ended up having a little damage from the previous renter that hadn't informed All Storage. After moving our things in, we realized it and immediately informed Donna. Let me TELL you. She immediately jumped on the phone to get her repair man to take care of it right away. It turns out because of the holidays things got a little delayed. She made sure to keep me up to date with everything even when things were delayed. Not only that, she went out of her way to make sure we got taken care of. Donna has been exceptional. She went over, above and beyond with her customer service skills. Obviously I needed to store my things either way. But there's nothing like finding people that care, communicate, are kind and go overboard for you. Especially during these times, kindness goes such a long way. Thank you Donna and All Storage! You all are great!

Not intro pricing but helpful & more importantly: it was not dismissed not & was I -not- told I was SOL like so many businesses these days.
