To make matters worse, they refused to accept my current insurance policy, even though it provided adequate coverage, and instead pushed me to purchase their insurance. It felt more like a sales tactic than a customer-focused policy. If you're looking for a storage facility with transparent pricing and reasonable policies, I would look elsewhere. Frequent rent increases and pressure to buy additional services make this a frustrating place to do business.

Today I had a sofa delivered to my apartmen. Dealing with the management setting up the move was seem less and the quote was reasonable. I requested the two guys who moved me before. The manager made sure they were available. So glad they were. Goran and his team were efficient, friendly, pleasant, charming and on time! So glad I discovered Perfect Moving. I had requested $1,500, less than half of what I paid, simply as a fair resolution for renting a defective unit. Despite repeated polite attempts to resolve this matter, they refused. I'm filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the New York Attorney General's Consumer Frauds Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission, and I am preparing to file a small-claims court case. I also discovered that other customers have reported similar issues with MI-BOX containers and moisture damage, which tells me this is not an isolated case. MI-BOX cannot continue renting out units that often fail to protect customer property while hiding behind legal disclaimers. I'm sharing my experience so other consumers can make an informed decision before trusting MI-BOX Tri-State in West Haverstraw with their belongings. If the company chooses to resolve this matter fairly and in writing, I will update this review accordingly.
