Just ok. Pros: responsive and scheduled quickly They had some clerical problems like loading the wrong report for me. I had to ask the inspector to come back out a second time to look at the crawl space because I was concerned about a water issue. He didn't find anything the first time because he didn't actually enter the crawl space, just took photos from the entrance. On the second visit he had a camera on a pole, but without a light it wasn't very helpful in the crawl space. He did find water there on the second visit, but it's two weeks out and several phone calls later and I haven't yet received any photos of the water -- which would help me show the companies I'm trying to get repair estimates from. Overall I just wasn't greatly impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection. read more

Peter S. of the NextDay saved us from buying an unsafe house. The house shows nice but there are hidden problems that Peter discovered and should have been disclosed by the Seller. Even though we lost the house, we are grateful that Peter has attention to details. I will not buy like that house because it's a money pit and not worth what we offered the Seller. It's ashamed that the Seller chose to ignore the problems; he should know better. The Seller thought that Peter will not find out the problems by shutting of the HVAC and concealing the attic. Our house is under is under contract and the buyers inspector found fire damage in our attic that even we were unaware of. We called on Next Day inspect to do an attic and roof inspection so that we can have a thorough inspection of our own. Their report came 72 hours after the inspection. I also ordered a permit history for our home just to see anything that might have been done. That report was sent as well. The report was very detailed and plenty of pictures. I did have to ask them to edit the attic report to add an important line in the notes that was left out about the attic that was discussed, but besides that the report was exactly what we needed to be able to see the attic without going up there (that's a no for me!) and have all the details we needed without relying on the buyers report. They also edited the report swiftly. They really do come out next day which was a Sunday for me. read more

Our guy was keith, he was really nice, honest and on time. But he missed a bunch of stuff on our report. Also when he left we realized he did not put back some ceiling caps that have wire in the drywall. I can't put it back. But their was a ton of stuff he missed with our house. I was impressed by the inspector at first. He was in the house for hours and the report seemed very thorough. However, after I purchased the house and began to do renovations, I discovered a few very important things that he missed and this upset me - including 20 year old hard wired smoke detectors and a gas fireplace that was not up to code. My experience was great - met my expectations. Keith showed up around the time he was supposed to and I think he did a great job at pointing out major things that I needed to know about. He didn't focus too much on the cosmetic/aesthetics of the home, which I didn't care about since I did that myself - and just pointed things out and asked if that was normal due to new construction or if I should make the builder fix it - and he advised accordingly. Received the report just over 24 hrs which wasn't a big issue for me since I got it before my walk-through with the builder.
