I used NextDay Inspect for a home inspection and radon test for a home that I am in the process of purchasing. First off -- the people at NextDay Inspect are great at responding in a timely manner; I first messaged the company through Yelp to get a quote and subsequently made a few phone calls to schedule services. They've always been quick to answer and pleasant to talk to! I had to reschedule a few times due to some conflicts, but NextDay Inspect made it as easy as possible to reschedule. The home I am buying includes an inspection/radon test contingency, so I had to get the inspection/test done as soon as possible. Unfortunately, my original appointment ended up getting cancelled due to my inspector getting sick (I'm glad they called to let me know/cancel instead of making him come out while he was sick). I ended up having to reschedule my appointment to 3 days after the original date, which was a little frustrating since I only had a certain amount of time to get my inspection done. NextDay Inspect was very accommodating; although they tell you that your inspection report will be available to you within 48 hours of completing the inspection, I asked if they could possibly deliver the report ASAP, and they delivered -- I received my inspection report less than 24 hours after the inspection was complete! My inspector was Davon, and he showed up to the home on time and seemed like he did a thorough job and also explained things to me as he went. The inspection for a townhome (+ basement) took just under 3 hours. The report that I was sent was thorough; it contained lots of pictures of the areas that were inspected along with written details on what was wrong/needed to be fixed. Overall, I'd definitely recommend NextDay Inspect and my inspector, Davon. NextDay Inspect quoted me less than other companies, was communicative, and efficient. read more

Hello, Trashy. Do not use this company. they dont inspect your home at all. My name is Juan Castro a home owner who recently purchased a home. I hired next day inspect to inspected the home but apparently they didn't. My kitchen ceiling is pouring water down from the bathtub from upstairs when somebody takes a bath. Next day inspect inspected the home on July 21 2026 and I closed out on the house on August 19th 2026 but I didn't come home until September 2nd 2026 to just find out that the home was in very poor condition. The biggest issue was my kitchen ceiling pouring water down like the cascade of Niagara. I purchased a $700,000 hundred thousand dollar home and I put next day inspect upfront to watch over my interest and trust them to make sure the home was livable. How come the first day I got home and I was having a beer in the kitchen while my wife took a shower upstairs water started pouring down my head. That's upsetting. But what it's more upsetting is that after I reported it to the people who apparently came to do the inspection they just think it's a game. They sent me letters saying I am sorry but we did our job and it's not our problem. I am very angry about this whole situation. There are $20,000 Thousand dollars worth of damage and all I get from this company next day inspect is a ignorance response. Well I am reaching out to the highest level of next day inspect to please contact me at 571 315 0199 to discuss this matter further. I am willing to spend another $15,000 or $20,000 thousand dollars in attorneys to bring these outrages issues to the extend of the law. If I hired a company to go inspect a home there shouldn't be water pouring from ceilings. Very unsatisfied and with a big expense to spend on repairs. read more

I contacted NextDay Inspect to perform a pre-listing inspection on my property in DC before we put it on the market for sale. I was surprised that the inspectors were able to complete the inspection with short notice, I contacted them on Friday evening and requested the inspection to be done the next morning. Two inspectors arrived at my property, Azmi and Keith about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. They were well equipped and used tools that I did not know existed before. I saw them using a thermal imaging camera, and special equipment to ascend to the roof of the property. My fiancé and I were amazed at the level of detail the inspectors took at the property. They spent 2 hours at my house and communicated with us throughout the inspection, letting us know what they were finding. When they did find an issue, they took time to explain the severity and corrective actions clearly. Once the inspection was completed, we were amazed when we received a comprehensive 77-page report the same day the inspection was completed. Once we were equipped with the knowledge of what items needed to be fixed, my fiancé and I began working on making the necessary changes prior to putting our house on the market. Our house sold for asking price and in less than 3 weeks. I believe that the pre-listing inspection that was done helped us tremendously in reaching a successful sale of our property In remarkably fast time. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. I used NextDay Inspect to do a comprehensive home inspection for a townhouse that I was purchasing and they did a great job with not only the inspection but also in sorting out customer service issues that came up. Inspection: NextDay inspect was extremely responsive once I requested information for a home inspection online - they contacted me within 45 minutes. They were flexible on scheduling and were able to get in and complete the inspection the next day, as their name suggests! Once the inspection was completed, they talked me through and explained all items that were pointed out as being a concern in the report. Customer Service: During the inspection, an electrical panel was not able to be inspected due to a Lazy Boy chair being in front of the panel. After chatting with Khaled, he explained what aspects in their policy prevented the inspector from moving this, while noting ways to improve efficiency for future inspections. My husband and I were very impressed with this company. We called needing a last minute inspection and the gentleman on the phone was quick to get us scheduled for an inspection the next day. Rhonda was just fantastic! She was very professional. She came right on time and immediately started doing the inspection. We were very appreciative of her taking precautions during this pandemic too, especially when we have little ones and a newborn. She wore a mask the entire time. I requested an electrical inspection after a large lightning storm did a lot of damage to our home. I appeared to come in through the FIOS connection, buy my insurance adjuster strongly recommended an electrical inspection as well. I saw good reviews for NextDay Inspect and called them. Sure enough they sent someone out quickly - called Monday, got inspected Wednesday. The inspector showed up on schedule and turned out to be very friendly, polite, and obviously experienced. He went over the whole house starting with the electrical panel and through every room with attention to any GFCI protected outlets. Fortunately, he didn't find anything wrong in the house except some obsolete setup in the panel that he recommended we get fixed. It was all done quickly and we got a very nice report which my insurance adjuster already praised. read more

Scheduling the service was fast, and they were available to do the inspections the very next day (I called around 5pm). Great communication. Payment can be done either online with CC or by check on the day of inspection. The day of inspection, Keith Pulley, the inspector, was punctual, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and available to answer any questions we had. He went above and beyond to not only point out obvious conditions, but also to note the ones that weren't necessarily within the scope of the inspection. The report was detailed, with photograph evidence (55-page total) of findings. We also performed the radon and thermite testing. All professionals were on time, polite, and helpful. This is an honest review. I wasn't bombarded with requests to post a review either. It was easy to communicate with Next Day Inspect. They were very accommodating with my schedule and requests. Other companies I called and inquired from weren't as nice especially because I needed the inspection done on Easter weekend. Nafez was my home inspector and he was excellent. We found NextDay on Yelp, and were able to quickly make an appointment over e-mail. The process was simple and painless. On the day of the inspection, we were met by Keith and another inspector, both of which took time to introduce themselves and explain the process. The inspection took about 3 hours and was very thorough. Even our realtor was impressed in how meticulous they were. The report itself was 56 pages long and helped abate any worries we had about the property. Gerald showed up on time, we got out of his way - and he went to work. We heard him in the attic, on the roof, outside and inside. He was all over for over two hours. During his face time with us he was most pleasant and engaging. Several days later, upon reading his report, we realized he had inspected every nook and cranny - places I myself haven't seen or noticed in many years.
