Well what can I say? My trusty Dell laptop finally ran into some issues the other day. First, let me start off by saying that Dell has been a pretty good brand for me over the years and I would highly recommend them as a PC manufacturer. Anyways, my computer started acting funny after I had tried to download a game from a website that seem reputable. To say the least, it was not! After installing what I thought was suppose to be the game, I ended up installing some pretty bad virus(es). I couldn't even open up any of my web browsers. Every time I would click on my browser a white screen would pop up instead of websites and I could never access the internet or even Facebook. My system was literally crawling and I haven't experienced my computer that slow since I first bought it. I did have an anti-virus installed (AVG) but it obviously didn't work right or I wouldn't be having this problem. I'm currently living in the La Habra (use to live in Chino) and called around to a few shops to see who had the best prices. I got one guy who wanted me to meet at Starbucks to diagnose the problem. Even though he was super friendly, I didn't feel very comfortable with that. I also checked out another shop locally and the guy there was pretty nice too, but it wasn't that clean on the outside or inside so I decided to pass. While these might not be deciding factors for other people, they are for me when I take my baby (PC) in to get repaired. Last but not least, I came to Larson Custom PC & Repair after calling them first and feeling pretty good about the way I was handled over the phone. I was helped by Josiah (lucky he gave me his card, his name's hard to remember lol) who is a pretty solid technician. He talked with me about 20 minutes in the store just going over details to make sure he knew what I had downloaded and what was causing my issue. The shop is pretty nice actually and I definitely felt more comfortable leaving my computer there than a few other places I mentioned earlier. After talking with me for sometime, the tech had me fill a couple things out and then I turned my baby (PC) over to them to get repaired. After about 3 hours, I got a call from the tech saying they had diagnosed what the problem was and they explained to me fairly well what happened and what needed to be done in order to fix the problem. I told them that of course I wanted it fixed, but they explained they must get the customer approval first before any work is done, which I thought was pretty professional to say the least. Because it was the end of the day they explained they would have it finished by the next day and would give me a call then. About 2pm the next day, I got a call from Josiah and he said everything was ready to go and I could pick my computer up! I came pretty quickly and was happy to see my computer working like it should. The price was pretty good when compared to Geek Squad or something, but it may seem a little pricey compared to someone you might find on Craigslist. With that said, I will gladly pay a little more than randomly meeting someone at Starbucks to fix my computer and have it done by professionals at shop that reflects just that, professionalism. I would highly recommend their services to all my friends. I read the other review on here from some girl who seemed to have some issues about a computer that was built, but I cannot say the same for myself. Everything went really good and this is my new shop if I ever have to take my computer (hopefully not) back in for any repairs! read more

When I fried my laptop last week (I won't tell you what I did, it's embarrassing, but needless to say, I will never leave my computer anywhere near an air conditioner again), I flew into a minor panic. It was Friday night, I was headed out of town, and I work several freelance jobs, so 24/7 access to my email and files is imperative. I couldn't get the sucker to even turn on. And even though I resisted the urge to touch it over the course of the weekend, it didn't magically fix itself. Shocker! First thing on Monday morning, I stopped by Larson's after a frantic search for "computer repair." Ryan, the technician in the store that day, was super-friendly and reassuring. He took my laptop and called me back within 90 minutes with a free diagnostic and price estimate. It was $85 to get it to boot and make sure everything was functional once he got the computer to start up. When I agreed to the service and the charges, he told me it would be just an hour before the laptop was ready for pick up. When I returned an hour later, it was, in fact, restored to full working order, and they didn't charge me any more than the $85 I was quoted. The folks in the shop were so professional and helpful and I was so happy just to have my functional computer back in my hands (although being forced to take the morning off to walk the dog and eat vegan ice cream was not a bad way to spend a Monday). While I hope to never come back here again, I'm really glad to know where I can get fast, reliable service for my computer. read more

Larson's PC is a great place! I needed to get a new desktop that would handle some pretty intense gaming, video editing as well run numerous software programs for work. I spec'd out what I wanted for components based on on-line reviews and test sites and started to shop my "build" around but couldn't find any site that could give me what I wanted without "options" that I didn't want and didn't want to pay for. I was just about ready to give up and build it myself then I found Larson's on Google. I called and spoke to Ryan, sent him my spec's and got a price back on the exact PC I wanted. Not only was the price far better than I could have done by buying the components myself, they assembled it and bench tested it for me. While I live in Hollywood the drive to La Habra was well worth it. Later on I had a software issue on my laptop and Ryan was able to fix it quickly and remotely. I would recommend these guys to anyone particularly if you want a custom build at a great price and great service. There is also a Costco with cheap gas nearby. read more

The guys over at Larson computer repair are great! They helped me with a reformatting of my solid state drive and installed my water cooling system. They worked with me every step of the way and made sure that I was ok with all the things they were doing. Very professional and talented. I brought the computer in on a Monday and got it back on Wednesday. They made sure my computer was booting from the ssd and were able to keep all my files in tact. They worked with me on payment options and were flexible. I am a professional gamer and needed my computer back asap for streaming and a tournament coming up, they knew that, and allowed me to take my computer home even though I was a few bucks short of the bill. I highly recommend these guys to anybody who needs work done on their computer. read more

Excellent service, serious commitment to customer satisfaction! I found Larson computer on Yelp when searching for a replacement battery for my iPhone 4. I thought this was going to be a difficult task getting someone to take my service request seriously. From the first contact by telephone to set up the appointment for my battery replacement to the follow up call from Ryan Larson (owner of the shop) the following day to see how the battery was doing it was obvious that these guys had it figured out ... quality, value, service ... the key ingredients to a successful business. I highly recommend Larson Computers to anybody looking for good old fashioned quality service at a value price from a team of committed professionals! read more

Went in this afternoon (11/17/17) around 4 PM with a computer tower the gentleman at Next IT had replaced the hard drive and recovered all my data off of old crashed hard drive for me eight or nine months ago. This time it was a broken cooling fan mount on the mother board. I imagined I would be dropping it today off and picking it up next week. I opened it up and showed him the broken part. Despite it being a part unique to the brand of MB installed, he actually HAD one in stock. Long story short, installed it and I was in and out in about 20 minutes (if that long). Fast & Friendly? Check!! Good guys, good place - HIGHLY recommend! Phil T read more

What can I say about this company? They are an amazing group! Very helpful and insightful! The customer service far and beyond exceeded my expectations. I was accustomed to the routine monotone and unenthusiastic nature of IT, however, at NEXT IT, you get an incomparable blend of equable yet professional approach that you don't encounter at many businesses. With that said, I want to mention Justin, Jonathan, and Mohammad, who were particularly pleasant, friendly, and competent. Thank you very much for the great experience! read more

These guys are great. I brought in a refurbished Mac. I have never owned a Mac before. They set it all up for me. Then they walked through all the settings and it really helped with my learning curve. I been in two times afterward with other computers. They were up front and honest. They told me that they could fix them but they would be out of date. It would better for me to use the money I would spend there and purchase something new and would better meet my requirements. Thanks guys you're the best. read more

Well my Alienware computer was only 2 1/2 months old and had a load of problems. NEXT IT has for about a week and after I picked up my computer I hooked it up that night and I was really disappointed, it was still slow and had a few other problems. Well I emailed that night Josiah and the next morning even before their 9 AM opening time Josiah arranged for an online repair. Jason was the technician that helped me and he did a great job. So none of the reviews that you read are false news. CF read more

These guys are legit. I took in my computer to Next IT, since it was broken (had a corrupt hard drive), and they recovered all the data. There was so much important information on the drive for my production company - files for clients, financial information, etc. and they got it all back. I am very impressed by their overall professionalism, attention to detail, and friendliness. I have referred them to friends and colleagues, all of whom have had positive experiences. 5 stars for sure! read more

Everyone here is so kind and informative. I checked my macbook in with Josiah, he told me they offer free diagnostics. After that I got a call from Justin telling me how much it would be to repair my macbook. He was very kind and gave me a bundled price to get my Mac up and running again. When I picked it up they told me exactly what was wrong and what may have caused it to be slow so I know to avoid it now. If it was possible I'd give them more than 5 stars. Great work guys keep it up! read more

The Very Best!! We purchased our new computer from them and my husband also purch. a 'help Bevie' package - Ryan has been more than efficient, capable and patient to 'bail' me out of many a dilemma and help me learn to use the new e-mail program along with the new operating system. It is comforting to know that La Habra has such fine young businessmen who are current and up to date but also posess a healthy, developed 'work-ethic'. Congratualtions & thank you.....
