I really love this store. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Because I cannot afford to love…read morethis store. They aren't gouging or anything, it's just high-end stuff. And I do not make high-end money. Great examples of the best of East Coast fashion...fairly subdued, and lots of black/white/grey. Which is golden for me, since I'm not the dude who can be thrown into a closet full of color and come out anything short of a disaster. And it's the home base of Cleveland-based fashion line "Wrath Arcane" which I've really developed a serious fetish for. I've managed to score a pair of their jeans and a scoodie so far. What the hell is a "scoodie", you ask? It's a scarf. With a hood. Hell yeah. I love the damn thing. Dan is the man at Brigade, and he's pretty much always the dude behind the counter. A solid guy, knows his stuff, and treats you like his bestest buddy from the moment you walk in the door. I've caught Brian O'Neill (owner) in there once or twice and he's a sterling dude. Great people, great clothes, and great service. Hell, when you buy something they wrap it up and carry it to the door for you! Made me feel all special. Like I was buying jeans in First Class or something.

So glad to have them around! An oasis of cool in a style desert. The guys are very gracious and…read moreknowledgeable with the best selection of G Star until Chicago. A very well curated and edited selection that makes Saks and Macy's G Star depts look old and tired. I'm grateful they're here.

Wandered around the nearly empty store for maybe ten minutes. Three employees avoided eye contact…read morewith the fam as we were browsing. Then once I found something I was looking for I exclaimed nearby to an employee "Oh that's where those are, maybe I can get some help". Said employee walked away. And so did I, took my shopping list and went the 15 minutes to Geiger's in Chagrin Falls, had a great experience and got the outdoor items on my list. LL Bean is a fraction of what it once was, and I won't be back to the Legacy Village location.

We-ell... It's no high school age catalogue shopping experience, lemme tell ya. Prices have…read moregotten steep for some things- $69 for a less than average quality, elastic band, bunchy ends (know what I mean? they help make the bubble sleeves, or the poofy sleeves...) three quarter length sleeve print blouse; $120 for a nice linen short sleeved one that is still a bit too wide for its size (even for linen). Conversely, $29.99 for a great, warm fleece vest as long as you were willing to forgo the LL Bean logo on the breast pocket area. (BTW...? What's up with that? When I asked the sales lady, she said it was their "Value Line that they tried." "But it's so warm," I answered. "Yeah, it's still fabulous." ...hmmm... Speaking of salespeople, they were all over the place. Some were very patient, "I am sure that my Extra Large Tote has pockets," "Uh, none of them have ever been sold with pockets on the inside." "Yes, they have. I'm sure of it. Mine is very old." "Uh, well, that is interesting...I...," "It's vintage, it's from the 70's." "Well, I actually collect them. I have several from the 60's and the 70's and none have pockets, so, sorry," he said, taking the tote from her. (Patient for 2026, I mean). Some were not patient at all, "So, which do you want?" "Uh, I think I like the one that's all white." "Weel, do you want to get it monogrammed?" "Uh, no, I like it like this," "Really? 'Cause, it really looks great. And it only costs ten dollars. And the guy will be here in like ten minutes. And you should do it. Now all you have to do is walk yourself over to the front desk and order it." Wow. I would not have been sold. And in fact, the woman was not. But, I did walk out with a couple of nice canvas bags (one non-traditional one) that I need for secret spy purposes.
