All the reviews about the snooty sellers rang true for me. Here's the hack: The sales staff is stable; you'll see the same people year after year. Get one person to help you. Make sure she adds your name to their client list. I guarantee all your subsequent visits will improve. The unique clothing and reasonable prices (lower than Evie Lou) make working around the staff's arrogance worth it. Don't sleep on their clearance section. read more

I visited Knuth's for the first time in 3 years as we have relocated. We were in town and I wanted to see if I could find something fresh. The associate who helped me was no one I was familiar with. She was super helpful, personable and picked up on my likes and dislikes quickly. I've always had a good experience there. And always a good selection. read more

Let me tell you, I haven't been to this store since pre-Covid so over three years ago and I realize, I haven't missed it at all. The women who work there are so snobby, they don't say hello unless you're ready to buy something, they don't ask if you need help, they don't make eye contact they don't ask how you are, etc. however, when you DO get their attention they get super high pressure sales-y. They don't listen at all they just wanna know should I put this at the register or in a fitting room? "You better get it now, it will be out of stock by next week." Where do I begin snooty snooty snooty about sums it up. I went in just to browse and had about 6 sales associates approach me to ask if I needed help and I kept saying I am just looking no thanks. I almost had to tell one of the sales people to please let me be it was borderline harassment. I was with a friend and she was being harassed as well. They kept asking me if they could put the shirt i was holding at the register and I was like no thanks I'll hang on to it till I check out. Then I finally went ti the register and this hideous woman w way too much make up and fake as can be was so rude to me my friend almost said something to her. I don't know who these people think they are but I love the clothes here and now I'm forced to look elsewhere. My style is more athletic lululemon etc and I just needed a few thins for work to look more professional .. what a disappointment. read more

I have been to Knuth's Several times, and unless I am dressed well and carrying a nice purse, I am essentially ignored by the staff. Highly frustrating. I keep telling myself I'm not going to go back and then months go by and I'll give them another chance and it's the same old story. I went there tonight and someone finally asked if they could help me and I told them my shoe size, and alas, they never returned. I am done now. I am a single working Mom. I have no time to myself-ever. I had a couple days between my old job ending and new job starting. Anyhow, on my list of things to enjoy on my final day was the sale at Knuth. I wanted to quietly and on my own browse the store. I was looking to buy a couple tops and some cute summer sandals. In about a 15 minute period, I was aggressively approached by staff no less than ten times. It took me out of my joy and ruined the experience. I wanted alone time to browse and buy. I didn't want to be called honey or asked my shoes size, or asked seven times if I needed a fitting room. I will miss working by the more laid back Rocky River location. read more

I love their clothes and shoes but they are RUDE. Unfriendly. Patronizing. And the line to check out can be long. They sent a coupon to the house that said 20% off one item and then when I found boots on sale she acted like I had two heads when I asked if I could use the coupon. I am shocked to see the other reviews about Knuth's as I have had nothing but great experiences there. The staff are attentive, friendly and really helpful. I've special ordered several times with no issues. The clothes are fabulous - major labels, great selection - a little pricy, but well worth it. Love this store on my first visit this week. What was I waiting for? Didn't expect it to be that awesome. Great service experience. Found what I was looking for!! It will be my go to for sure! I stop in once a year, just to see if anything has changed. Nope. Jerks as always. Never acknowledge my presence. Remember the scene from Pretty Woman??? This is the same store. I have plenty of money to spend....funny story, I told my husband how nasty they were, he said,"let's go!" We did and boy did we get service (side note, he's better looking then richard gere). I admit I returned everything later. But watching them service us was hilarious. I really do like their selection. I get bored with Nordstrom, but I cannot give my money to them. One last note...I don't just make this review as a bully on line. I made a phone call and spoke with the manager. Sorry, there is always more to say about their poor customer service....I believe it was the owner who spoke to the woman who entered 3 steps before me, but couldn't quite get around to that next "customer ". How do I know it was the owner? Can't be sure, but heard one of the young employees call him Dad.... Good thing we can buy most things on the internet! read more

I can't say enough about the great customer service I get at Knuth's! I am not easy to fit but the girls at Knuth's know what will work on my frame and are always able to help me find a cool, hip outfit for any occasion! Knuth's recently helped me purchase gifts for my girls during the Covid crisis without coming into the store. They sent me numerous photos of different options and then wrapped the gifts and shipped them across the country-couldn't of been easier!! Knuth's goes above and beyond to make your shopping experience pleasant. 5 stars from me! Can't wait to go back for new summer stuff! They have an eclectic and fun selection of items. I can usually find something in my price range but if I spend a little more, I generally get my money's worth in the wear. The customer service here is terrible. For a small family owned place they should be kind to the customers who come in. No one has ever offered to help me though I've been in there 3 times. I heard they were selling masks because of COVID19. I called, spoke with the owner. I had questions about how to purchase these masks. After all, they are not considered an essential business, but they are opened. Are they possibly now considered essential because they are selling masks?, does this make them now essential? I was told on the phone, the run down....they had just received a shipment, they were ordering 1000 more, they take my credit card info, once the shipment comes in they call me, run my card and ask me how I want to pick them up. As I was co side ring whether I should order some, I stated that I heard Ohio my be opening up soon... That!.... is when it started going down hill...the response was "it is recommended we wear masks until the end of the year" she says...I then ask "where are these made?." legit question., as my husband and I no longer want to purchase any items made in China. In her VERY snarky tone I am told..."they are made by a dressmaker in LA" she says...."look... I'm in deep here...I don't have time to talk with you about this...stay healthy have a good day" and hangs up on me! If a business doesn't have the time or energy to answer a few questions about a product THEY choose to carry to help in a Pandemic then I will never, ever shop there ever again. Terrible customer service!!!!Store was busy no one said hi so I left. Came back 3 days later asked for a size 7 boot She brought out 8.5 for me to see if I liked it then she could check Westlake store. Saw in the computer there was a 7.5 at this store Took 20min looking for the 7.5 kept saying she was still looking & if the computer says they have it they have it Then she comes over to me and says "hi we don't have it thanks"no offer to get it no sorry for wasting your time, nothing. The products are not well made and the staff is unreasonable. I have been sold horrible clothes, shoes, and accessories that fall apart the first time I put them on. There are tons of other places to go get quality products for cheaper. Try DSW for one. actually try any other store, everything about shopping here is horrendous. read more

I love Knuth's!! I check it out at least once a week. I have purchased a lot of jewelry items on clearance, and have given them as gifts. Awesome deals!! The staff is always helpful, courteous, and attentive. I don't have a bad thing to say about Knuth's at all. If you've never been there, you need to go. You won't be disappointed! read more
