UpScaleIT is one of my favorite small businesses to support. The store is always stocked with fashionable plus size options, which not many consignment stores have. You can tell the staff really puts thought into each selection, and all items are of stellar quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful, they suggest both items that match my style and items that I wouldn't traditionally reach for. It's hard not to love a place where you can get fabulous clothes and bags for a fraction of the price. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking to expand your wardrobe! read more

Very nice store with a nice selection of designer clothes. Racks are labeled by size and often by color. They have all kinds of accessories and shoes, too. The saleswomen were very nice. Lauren was helpful. Dressing room was good size, and I tried on several dresses from the clearance rack. Even then the dresses were between $30-60, so they were reasonably priced for quality resale. You can find lots of better and designers items here. Take your time and shop. read more

UpscaleIT is five stars with sprinkles on top. UpscaleIT is one of the few designer consignment shops that is actually organized by size and type. This makes me so happy I could literally pass out. If you're browsing through the medium dresses, you're actually looking at medium dresses. If you're even a beginner vintage/consignment hunter, you've surely experienced the, "This is tagless but beautiful, how on earth is this thing sized?" dilemma. Some wonderful fairy has UpscaleIT organized to a science. Its also decorated very sweetly, with chandeliers, quotes by inspiring women and hot pink accents. This boutique earns extra points in accessories. I'm always super impressed with the selection of handbags, scarves and jewelry. Right when you walk in, you'll be greeted by a cute table that almost always has new, colorful Kate Spade purses, and higher end pieces, like a Hermes scarf. They also keep a pretty healthy combo of jewelry, ranging from costume to diamond. Today, I'm beyond happy with my two new rings, a sterling silver rose and an Ametrine gemstone. They also have an eye-catching rack of extensive Lilly Pulitzer when you enter, but the sizes are pretty small, more for teenagers. I'm clearly not of the age, but they seem to have a really extensive selection of prom dresses for the teenager in your life. Seasonally, they have an awesome selection of furs and winter coats as well. Maybe seasonally is even a bad word to use, because in Ohio, we need coats ¾ of the year. Over time, I've picked up 3 coats that have become fast favorites, one being a Vera Wang raincoat. This lovely little shop is hidden in the Solon Square livens up the area with great style, prices and a diverse selection for all types of fashionista. This place is not as advertised. I brought items in from Nordstrom and Anthropologie plus shoes from Stuart Weitzman and purses from Coach and Dooney and Bourke. Waiting the appropriate amount of time I was told, I was told the BRAND NEW Weitzman shoes did not sell nor the Dooney, which I never used. I also saw items from Gap and Old Navy there. How "UpScaleit" are they? I am very suspicious of what happened to those 2 items, so given that, I will NEVER return. read more

Visited today for the first time with my daughter. Store is beautifully decorated and the two employees were very friendly and helpful. I walked out with a beautiful skirt and top for an art opening next weekend, as well as a really cute shawl/wrap. I will definitely stop in when in the area again! read more

I went in looking for a dress to wear to my best friends wedding that I was singing in. We had discussed color options of purple or something to compliment what her daughters who were attendants were wearing. I explained this to the salesperson who kept wanting to put me in black. I was getting frustrated that she kept pushing the black. Finally she said since I was singing and not an attendant I'd be more like the catering help and it would be better! Really?! I absolutely LOVE shopping at UpScaleIT. Not only are the items in great condition, some of them are even BRAND NEW with TAGS ATTACHED. Not to mention the staff is incredibly humble, honest, and just plain lovely. Not to mention STYLISH! Honesty in fashion is the best policy. In my experience at UpScaleIT, they don't try to sell you anything that doesn't make you feel amazing or that you don't love. They are all about the customer and helping them find not only their personal style but find themselves in the process. I absolutely love this store! I am always looking for unique pieces and I am never disappointed when I visit. Alice and her staff are so friendly and helpful, and by now they know my taste so they are able to pick items they think I will like and I always do! The store is wonderfully arranged and sizes and styles are clearly marked. Great experience, and one store I happily re-visit time and time again. Love the variety and new things constantly coming in, I never walk away empty-handed because they know me so well and my taste and likes. Excellent service! My husband and I went in just to browse and walked out with four beautiful dresses and a pair of jeans. I've never been a fan of shopping and have shopped at other upscale stores such as Neiman's and Saks, but had a much better experience at UpscaleIT than at any other store I've ever shopped - I will definitely be back! read more
