Reclamation - Sidewalk sale

Reclamation is a consignment shop selling home furnishings, decor, clothing, and jewelry. The store…read moreis very roomy (4,000 square ft to be exact). During my first visit, the shop had a sale that extended to the sidewalk. I stopped in after hearing about this shop's sidewalk sale on IG. Layout: The first floor of the shop is mostly dedicated to men's and women's clothing and home decor (lamps, statues, and furnishings). The basement includes nostalgic items (such as trolls and Disney memorabilia), furniture, and clothes. Be sure to pause on the stairs leading to the basement to take mirror selfies and to shop for funky mirrors. The store is really an eclectic mix of unique pieces (such as African wood carvings), vintage accent pieces (such as funky yellow faux leather chair), and modern clothing (such as dresses from Ross). It's like a flea market meets discount store. Prices: Prices are absolutely all over the place from $20 for a wicker basket to $595 for a vintage chair. Most prices didn't make sense to me in terms of condition and price. Almost all items are clearly marked with the price. I didn't make any purchases after browsing the store for a while since everything seemed pricey or not necessarily matching my style/too outdated. I didn't see any deeply discounted items during the sale. Customer Service: Customer service was pretty friendly and employees social. Although I've noticed a shadow while browsing the store which was unpleasant. Parking: Parking is available at the back of the store, parking lot is shared with nearby businesses. There are also limited number of spots available in front of the store (usually busy on weekends). Events. Check out the store's Instagram for upcoming events such as sales and clothing swaps. I would recommend this store if you want to spruce up your space with unique handmade furnishings or art. Especially when it comes to global accent needs. The store is less appealing for clothes. Most clothing is equivalent of thrift finds at a higher price point.

If you're from Cleveland, you are not a stranger to CLE Clothing! You can find their headquarters…read morein downtown Cleveland on East 4th Street, so it's wonderful that they now have a location on the east side. Located in Van Aken, it's walking distance to other great local shops and restaurants. If you know the downtown shop, you'll be so thrilled to know that this is basically a smaller version of that with the same level of awesome Cleveland apparel. You walk in and immediately feel the warm vibes and bright colors. The store was immaculately organized and filled with diverse sizes, which I appreciated, because nothing makes me crazier as when everything is a size S. You'll also find a small selection of Cleveland bar ware and little accessories like stickers, magnets and postcards. You really can't beat Cleveland Clothing Co when it comes to wearing your Ohio pride or searching for a local gift!

I find their clothes comfortable and well made, although somewhat expensive and different sizes can be somewhat limited. They usually have a rack or two of discounted clothing but I never see the sale items in common sizes like medium or larges when I shop here. Anyway, my most recent visit here was pleasant and my boyfriend found a cool shirt for his music loving dad for a birthday gift. I only bought a Cuyahoga Valley National Park sticker ($3) on my most recent visit, but the design is super cool and looks great on my water bottle. I enjoy the CLE Clothing Company and recommend them for gifts!
