You can access this clothing store from East 4th or 5th Street Arcades (it's attached to the building). I only followed Intro Boutique for eternity on Instagram. I finally wandered in with time to spare prior to the nearby Yelp Elite event. I was pleasantly surprised with the collection.  STORE/INVENTORY: Intro Boutique has two locations in downtown Cleveland. One is this one (9 years in operation), and another by the Rock Hall of Fame (3 years in operation). The brand focuses on attire that is comfortable, trendy, and washes well according to the store employee. For the local fashionistas, the store has casual and business casual attire - sweaters, shirts, butter soft leggings (with pockets!), dresses, silky shirts, well made purses, earrings, rings, adorable clutches and wallets. For self-care queens, shelves with body care items are found throughout the store where you can even smell like "total eclipse." For tourists or CLE lovers, there are cute CLE postcards, magnets, clutches, hats, tees, sweaters, 3D printed script signs, and more. It's the perfect destination to purchase the Land merch or souvenirs from your visit from CLE. You can literally buy postcards for as little as $2 and send some old school love to your loved ones. Overall, the prices range from $30 to $70. Most products sold in stores originate from the USA, Indonesia, and Vietnam just based on reading the labels. I noticed that a lot of garments resemble currently trending fashion and fabrics from fast fashion brands - Rainbow, Target, and others.  DEALS: The store is well stocked for fall with garments in seasonal colors (like rusty orange, and reds). They also have a fall mystery bag sale. You can select a mystery bag in your size - 4 clothing items for $40. I originally considered the bag but the store does not carry my size. I normally wear 2X-3X, their sizes are from S-XL. They mentioned that sizes are pretty generous. I did not try anything to confirm or deny due to being short on time.  SERVICE: The store employee (or one of the owners not sure) was very social and friendly. She mentioned that she'd love to have me back in to do a little fashion show as I try some of the items. I loved that idea!  I look forward to returning to the store to shop for accessories. By the end of the night I decided that I need the wallet with dainty edges from the store! I regret that the clothing won't fit me. I would have loved to own a garment from Intro.

You can find this one-of-a-kind, two story store in the Coventry neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. It well reflects the neighborhood's eclectic culture. This store is a great destination for your esoteric needs, global unique gifts, and your obscure hobbies. INVENTORY: The store offers fair and direct trade merchandise. I have a suspicion that a lot of City Buddha merchandise is now sold here due to seeing similar finds. City Buddha used to be a shop on the same street with treasures directly from Thailand. Both a treasure. As far as countries of origin, there are many at this location. There are plenty inspirations from the East - Buddha statues, Indian gods, and incense. There is African merchandise - Ghanaian necklaces, waist beads, and masks. There are Russian-inspired hats and Mexican blankets. Then there's everything in between. As far as variety, you can find clothing, shoes (Birkenstock), decor, walking sticks, jewelry, accessories, statues, instruments like djembe, and more. If yoga or meditation are your passions, you'll find so much here - crystals, incense, sage, tapestries, blankets, statues for your altar, and more. Pricing greatly varies. Some of the items are higher prices like $70 straw purses. Other merchandise is deeply discounted like alpaca gloves or seasonal items like waist beads. I was very happy to find $5 waist beads and added a necklace for $12 something. They were fair trade items from Ghana. Great value! SERVICE: The owner is very nice and helpful. He makes everyone feel seen and welcome. I always feel comfortable asking questions. You can also get a free quartz crystal with your purchase which is very nice. He truly seems like someone who finds deep meaning in what he does. PARKING: Limited street parking is available in the area. There is a covered parking garage across the street with free parking. I have been a customer of Passport to Peru for years. I most love that I can walk in and find everything needed for my obscure hobbies. Djembe for community drum circle in Coventry Peace Park? Check! Found it here! Waist beads for my book club? Check! Found them here! If you're looking for an interesting global experience or also chasing obscure hobbies, stop in. The store is beautifully laid out and has a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The gals working were very friendly and offered me coffee, tea or water. Thread carries several Ohio clothing designers as well as more high-end national designers. While I didn't focus heavily on the clothing, I was able to find the cutest set of travel cosmetic cases that were different sizes and all folded into each other. Each one had a noun like "wanderlust" or "nomad" with a dictionary-style definition. It was reasonably priced and they gift wrapped it beautifully! While checking out, they also offered to sign me up for their free rewards program. If you fancy yourself a boutique shopper or enjoy their clothing/jewelry selection its definitely worth signing up for. Overall, I think Thread is a nice addition to the shopping in Pinecrest!

They usually have a rack or two of discounted clothing but I never see the sale items in common sizes like medium or larges when I shop here. Anyway, my most recent visit here was pleasant and my boyfriend found a cool shirt for his music loving dad for a birthday gift. I only bought a Cuyahoga Valley National Park sticker ($3) on my most recent visit, but the design is super cool and looks great on my water bottle. When I think of Cuyahoga Collective, I think of a more upscale version of Cleveland and Ohio themed merchandise. From beautiful art to clothing and home decor, for me, this is the pinnacle of a Cleveland themed store. They carry unique themes of local pride amongst the merchandise. For example, as of December 2020 they have a super cute Parks collection portraying nature gems. You can even find coffee, cigars and jewelry. They are always changing their merchandise out and always have sales online and in their immaculately organized store. Seriously, this place just makes me so happy! I'm always drawn to their art though, which is modern, sleek and makes reference to Cleveland history. As a boater, I've loved buying different nautical themed items here. From "Don't Give Up The Ship" mugs and stickers to sailing art prints, I've bought several lovely gifts here for other boaters and sailors in my life.
