I've been to Cuffs several times. There are two men's clothing stores in Chagrin Falls, one run by a master tailor with clothing in a couple of tiers of prices of pretty uniformly high quality of Italian and North American origin, and Cuffs. With a few exceptions, Cuffs is exclusively high-end, clearly aimed at the local Porsche and Maserati crowd--high quality, cosmopolitan, and pretty pricey. The staff is mostly as you would expect--impeccably dressed, very attentive, helpful when asked; I did not feel, as another reviewer did, that they treated me as anything but a potential buyer, and in fact were very accommodating of my budget concerns with no whiff of condescension. I may wind up biting the bullet and swallowing their prices on a sport jacket, given the range of their selection, but I'm likelier to buy, as I already have a few times, from their competition. If money is no object, and if glam matters, this may well be your store; if you are in any way frugal though still particular about quality, perhaps not. read more

Hands down on having the best customer service especially when it comes to Hermes. I've been shopping with them from another state for over 10 years and they always make me feel like a home store. Great selection and everyone there work hard to fulfill customers' request. I love getting a thank you note everytime I receive my shipment. I wish that I could visit someday as this cute shop is like something coming out from a Dicken's novel. They also have a good selection of wine. Once I ordered a Cabernet for a gift and they picked a nice French import. The gift recipient was impressed with the wine. Their attentive service has earned me as a customer for life. read more

Just off the Main Street in charming Chagrin Falls is an amazing boutique, Cuffs Clothing. When you enter the historic brick building you will be impressed by the gorgeous selection of luxe men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories and fragrances, as well as a curated selection of wines. The selection of high-end items was impressive, and the whole experience is made extra special by the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly associates. Cuffs is a several hour drive for me, but I look forward to another visit soon. read more

Truly one of the best places I've ever been! I stopped by while visiting Cleveland with my kids and the staff could not have been more friendly! They had exactly what I was looking for (including a bag I had been trying to find for nearly a year!). Our Uber back to our hotel broke down in the parking lot and the owner of the store came out and introduced himself and asked if he could help. He invited us back inside to wait and we had the nicest conversation about a mutual place we both enjoy to vacation. This is the type of store you will drive 5 hours to in order to shop there because the entire staff is just *so* kind. If you visit Cleveland, Cuffs should be your first stop! read more

A gentlemen's shop, through and through, run by two generations of family! I stopped by here after hitting up my favorite ladies boutique in the area after the gals suggested it. I was looking for something special for my guy for his birthday, in particular a nice pocket square. As I pulled up to this old, ivy covered building, I didn't know what to expect. The inside was filled with every color and texture of jackets, pants, shirts and ties. The next room was filled with bow ties, more shirts, cufflinks, even more wonderful, manly items and WINE! Yes, wine by the case! And let's not for about their Hermes shop inside. Talk about dreamy. The service was shy, yet attentive, which was a nice surprise. I was sort of expecting a high-pressure sales atmosphere, but that wasn't the case at all. In fact, the guy who helped me was the son of the owner and he stuck with me through probably about 45 minutes of "Hmmm... I'm not sure" and "Are there more colors?" God bless his soul. And did I mention the huge selection? They seriously showed me over 150 pocket squares. Crazy cool stuff. It's what I'd want a gentlemen's shop to be, what I'd expect to see in a movie, almost. I'm surprIsed by some of these reviews. I've had nothing but AMAZING customer service at Cuffs. I work long hours during the week and travel quite extensively for my job. All of that just to say that typically can only make it to Cuffs on the weekends with my kids in tow. Im very used to salespeople turning up their noses and ignoring us, but at Cuffs... WOW! They always give me unparalleled service, but what truly shocked me is the level of respect they show my kids. They tell my son (6) all about the ancient ship models. They help my daughter (8) peruse the hundreds of ties on display so that she can show daddy her recommendations. The staff has held and entertained my youngest (16 months!) so that my made-to-measure 3-piece suit coy ups be fitted. The owner went so far as too pull me aside as I left to tell me "Know that your chIlddren are always welcome here." On top of all of that, the selection is amazing. No, it's not a warehouse with every conceivable combination of color and cut and fabric. It's a curated collection. You're just getting the good stuff, the quallity stuff, the kind of pieces that will not only last, but be passed on to the next generation of sartorialists. That being saId, even as a man who takes somewhat outlier sizes, I've never had a hard time finding pieces that fit perfectly. The staff at Cuffs have been my advisors, therapists, my stylists, surrogate uncles to my kids, and more. I can not recommend them enough. read more

Very friendly and professional customer service. I purchased an Hermes belt online and it was the wrong size. I was going to exchange it through the website, but selection was limited. I searched and found that there is a shop in Chagrin Falls that sells Hermes (only shop in the state). I read some reviews criticizing the customer service, so I was a little hesitant to stop in. I was greeted immediately with a smile and offers of help from staff. Ebony and Roger both thanked me for coming in and helped me find the correct size belt. It is so much nicer to buy from a brick and mortar shop when possible--you can feel fabrics, try on merchandise, and accurately visualize the colors. Cuffs is a beautiful shop and was packed full of beautiful items from many high end designers. I will definitely be back! read more

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my credit to keep. If I should die before I wake, At least I know my Birkin's not fake. I love my Birkin bag. What I love , although not quite as much as I love my Birkin, is that I did not have to sit on a waiting list for eons to get it. I just walked in and there it was. Aside from the iconic bag, Cuffs also has a well-chosen selection of Hermes scarves and neckties. AND they have a small but delightful selection of Santa Maria Novella scents and products. So we have Paris and Florence in the same boutique! The staff is very friendly and attentive and will assist you as long as it takes to find your perfect scarf or tie. The boutique itself is in a charming little century house in downtown Chagrin Falls. No, Hermes is not something you buy on a whim. These are classic icons of style that you will pass down to your children and grandchildren. read more

This was my first and last time I will visit Cuffs. The staff are cold and snobbish. I was followed from room to room. They were following me because they thought I might steal one of their precious items. The employees are rude and unsophisticated. I was disappointed in their small selection. It was a weird place to visit. Like I said, I will never go to this shop again. I don't know how they stay in business. Hopefully, they will close someday. Terrible customer service! Saleswoman lied and careless to customer. I ordered something there three months ago and they never gave me call even though I spent over $6000 there !!! When I visit there and asked about order, saleswoman lied me that she gave me call that never happened! If you like to buy Hermes, then better to visit actual store,not here. I am not one to shame businesses, much less people and I am all for shopping local. But I felt the need to share the incredibly shameful, embarrassing, and disgusting treatment that I received as a long time customer of CUFFS in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Not only have I been an incredibly loyal customer of theirs for years, but I have referred many of my friends to their store being that they are an official retailer of Hermes. 8 months ago(in December) I brought my bag to their store to get cleaned. Ebony told me that it will take 3 to 4 month and the cost will be $200-$250 and it would be in impeccable condition(like new). For 8 months I try to get my bag back, every time with excuses. I ask for any information from Hermes(confirmation number or email) with an answer "Sorry but we don't give any information, your bag will get back soon". Finally after I start to call everyday they told me that my bag is ready for pick up. When I came into the store, to my surprise, the bag was in the same, inside is much worse condition than I had originally given to them, and they told me it would cost $335. Inside of pocket it was a bunch of dust and small pieces of paper I forgot to clean before I gave bag to Cuffs. I would've been happy to pay if the bag had been cleaned as promised. When I explained to the owner's son that I refuse to pay $335 for a bag that isn't cleaned at all, and in fact, even more dirty.. he proceeded to laugh in my face and tell me that he "knew I just didn't want to pay to begin with." Clearly, I was hurt and horrified. This is a store where I spend a ton of money and the mistreatment was nauseating. He took the bag out of my hands, refused to let me take pictures of it and continued to be nasty. He sad with sarcasm "You're not getting your bag back until you pay or I will send bag back to Hermes, for another 7 month". Roger(an owner) came back a week later and ended up returning the bag to my home only if I paid the money. When I ask him for apology from his son, said "Until you apologize to my son, he is not apologizing to you". Clearly I paid because I didn't want them keeping my bag in their possession. He completely backed his son's nasty behavior and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. It is incredibly pathetic, hurtful, and bad business to treat customers in this matter. I urge you to only shop at businesses that treat their customers with dignity and respect. I will never again step foot into CUFFS. Shame on them. I'm dealing with Hermes now about this issue. read more

I have been shopping at Cuffs for many years and it is my go to place for rare and special items. In fact, Cuffs is the only place I like to shop for myself and others! The sales associates are extremely helpful, patient and very knowledgeable along with being kind and gracious. Living in the Cleveland area, we are very fortunate to have this fabulous Hermes boutique which satisfies my passion for only the best in luxury items ! I can walk to this boutique from my house and would stop by more often if the staff was not so snobby. I went into today ---wearing an Hermes belt, watch and bracelet --- to buy an Hermes tie as a gift. I told the guy at the entryway what I was looking for and he simply said "next room" and nothing more. No offer of help, no how are you...nothing. My advice is to buy online. The Hermes website is awesome and this local shopping experience disappoints when it should be fun. read more

Horrible customer service! My dad who was visiting from Houston went to Cuffs looking for linen shirts. The guy was very rude and unhelpful. He just pointed and said "there may be a couple of shirts over there." Now granted stores may not have a huge stock of linen shirts in winter but the sales person didn't even take the trouble to show us the few they did have. Very disappointing! We're going to try Kilgore Trout instead. read more

I called Cuffs to ask to be placed on their contact list, as I had recently seen an event that I was sorry I had missed. A man (Robby?) answered the phone. I explained the call was to request being placed on their mailing list. He then asked if I had ever purchased anything from the store and I said I had been in a few months ago to look for a specific Hermes bangle, which they didn't have , but in the past have purchased Hermes scarves in Boston or Chicago. I explained that I lived 2 hours, round trip, away so I didn't get over to Chagrin that often. He proceeded to chastise me for 'flying 2 hours to Boston' and not driving 2 hours to Cuffs. He also stated that the mailing list was for customers that 'they' have a 'relationship' with (read: have shopped at the store). He then said he would make an exception and add my name to the mailing list, which, at that point, I declined. If Cuffs wants to build it's 'relationships' ,this is certinally not the way. I will never shop in that store, again. I have in the past, purchasing Santa Maria Novella products and many pairs of Stubbs & Wootton shoes years ago, when they carried them. This elitist attitude in a city like Cleveland is inexcusable. They should have been happy to have interest and a potential customer to add to their 'exclusive' contact listt. read more
