I was in the area and saw this cute little antique shop on the map! It's a small shop with maybe 10…read moreor so different vendors. There was a variety of different things dishes, knick knacks, decor, jewelry, clothing, and more! Like most antique shops some things are a little bit ridiculously priced, but you can still find some things for a good deal. I picked up a few pieces of jewelry for myself and some earrings for a friend that were a reasonable price. I also picked up a mini dog figurine for my printer drawer display shelf at home. And I saw the last thing when I was checking out. The woman behind the counter was super sweet. Talked to me throughout my visit about antiques and the different vendors. she had this gold Bell shaped item on the counter that she had not yet put a price on. I asked her what it was and she told me it was a vintage pillbox. I looked it up and it is from the 1930s. She sold it to me for a fair price. I am very excited to use such a cool piece - it has a tiny set of tongs inside! I will definitely be stopping here the next time I am in town.

They specialize in 17th-19th century antiques. Additionally, Tom and Diana work with local artists too. Every nook and cranny of the store is filled with awesome antiques and folk art pieces. My mom and I stopped by Chagrin Valley Antiques in search of fall decorations. I was enchanted by the numerous fall guords. My favorite was the headless pumpkin guord, reminding me of Ichabod Crane. He came in two sizes for $58 or $105. When we have bought guords in the past from Tom & Diana, they last for many, many years. On this shopping trip, we found a fall leave wreath for our front door for $38. You can feel Tom and Diana's love of Americana throughout the store. You cannot find this American art and craftsmanship anywhere else!

Another friend and I attended one of the pre auction events in November 2023 and were greeted with such hospitality, it was an incredible experience. Cynthia, Bridget, Tom, Marjorie and team provided a wonderful overview of the auction process as I was an auction newbie at that point and did not understand how it worked as in my mind from movies, etc it was always in person. The process is super easy to learn and the items in the auction were so gorgeous - I ended up buying some chairs and participating in my first auction following the experience. I recently called about a collection of Jim Beam decanter bottles. The collection contains…read moreapproximately 5-600 of these decanters. The lady informed me that they was staying away from the "modern" collections. Only problem is most of these decanters are from 1980 and before. Quite a few very rare and expensive collectors items from the member only jim beam club. I had a professional appraiser tell me that the collection would sell between 10 and 25k dollars at an auction. If you have anything that you want auctioned off i would advise you to go to Kikos auction house. the lack of knowledge from this place is astounding.
