My 2005 4WD Chevy Suburban needed some routing maintenance -- Change rear diff fluids, transmission fluids, trans filter, transfer case, front diff. Also did spark plugs and windshield wipers. I though it would either be a fuel pump or possibly alternator. I quickly called Elise while waiting on the tow truck and explained my predicament. She said to bring it by and they could squeeze it in (at least for diagnostics). It was dropped off and diagnosed within an hour. Next Auto Care has advanced diagnosis systems that traced the problem to a crank / cam shaft sensor failure. The sensor was purchased, installed, and I had my truck back same day Friday in time for the weekend. I've been searching quite some time for a local, independent auto repair center to take care of my vehicles and I've finally found it in Next Auto Care. All of the staff at Next Auto Care - from the owner to the service manager and the technicians - took the time to make me personally welcome at their shop and were consummate professionals. After finding out that I live less than two miles away, the owner even gave me a ride home knowing that my vehicle would be in the shop for the entire day. The shop itself is meticulously set up and maintained, and the waiting area and bathrooms reminded me of a well-appointed business hotel...something you might expect to see at a Hyatt Place or a Hilton Garden Inn...not really expected at an auto service shop but certainly appreciated. Regarding the service performed - I have a 10 yr. old Subaru WRX that was due for a major service (60K) as well as some suspension work on all four corners of the car. All of the work was handled uneventfully, rapidly (but not too rapidly) and I was kept apprised of progress and cost from start to finish. Costs were noticeably less than I would've paid at a Dealership and the car now drives better than it did when I first purchased it. I feel certain that Next will keep my WRX running long enough to pass on to my son (he's 10) as long I'm doing my part along the way. I am actually happy (Yes, I said HAPPY!!!) to come here for auto repairs. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. They have good snacks, coffee, and water. They'll drop you off at home or work and pick you back up. They go out of their way to help you and will make time if you have an emergency need. Their bathrooms are clean, and their waiting room is comfortable - like hanging out in your own living room. They've always been the best price when I have called around. I made the mistake of going somewhere else on a Sunday, because they were closed and I needed my car repaired immediately, that shop gave me a list of all the things I needed to repair. In fact, my brake pads still had more than 60% left, when that other shop told me they were about to be metal on metal. Ok, so I have been to Next Auto Care several times with my 2007 Jeep Commander and my 2012 Mercedes. I can honestly say that each and every time I go, it gets better and better. Ken, Chris and the team always make you feel welcome and at ease, when dealing with your automobile's issue/challenges. Most of us naturally consider price the priority, as I do to. Next Auto is extremely fair in their pricing and more importantly, they do not try to up-sell you every-time you come in (like dealerships etc.) Chris will provide you a post write-up, letting you know that something may need attention down the line. They do not make you feel like your car will not run, unless you get it done ASAP. Ken and his team understand how the "customer first" model works. This model is present every single time I go. Now, here is the icing on the cake for me. Just another reason I will always go to Next Auto. On 8/22 my Mercedes battery died in my office parking lot. I called roadside assistance to come out. Drove out to Denver from Georgia in my 2007 Range Rover. Great trip but had a transmission leak and my back window motor broke! Took the truck to Next and they were all over it! Super friendly, super knowledgeable! Got it fixed within a day, even though they were slammed. Got owner's attention also. Ken Stafford obviously cares about his customers. And the shop manager Chris was also very involved and explained to me the problem with the trans and any other things found during the inspection when they got the truck up on the rack. I know my vehicle is very specialized and complex. They really knew what they were doing and I feel very confident in the work. I won't take my car anywhere else. I've been searching for a trustworthy shop since my mechanic moved. These guys are the best! The owner, Ken, drove to my work nearby where my car crapped out on me. He took a look under the hood and crawled underneath to try to diagnose the problems on the spot. He arranged for a tow and drove me to the nearest car rental place to get some temporary transportation. I had taken my car in for a repair - had an appointment scheduled (on my lunch hour), which turned out to be a miscommunication (different days) - instead of having me reschedule - Delores exhausted all her resources to make sure that I was taken care of right then and there. I went to Next Auto Care to have my transfer case serviced, and found them on google. Manny was incredibly helpful, and explained to me exactly what he and his mechanics found looking over my vehicle. He was honest with me and told me that it would not be worth the money to repair everything, and that he would not take my money even if I wanted to pursue fixing it. He advised me to try trading in my car. I was very impressed that he wasn't just trying to make money, but that he was actually looking out for my best interest. Next Auto Care is the best! They really took care of my car and went above and beyond! They gave my 3 year old and I a ride home, then delivered my car to me once it was done! I was fully expecting to have to camp out in their waiting room (which is actually pretty nice for a car place) for hours trying to entertain her, but they made my day by taking us home then delivering my car!
