Shady stuff happening here. Be careful and watch details…read more Took truck here for transmission issue because my warranty co approved them. After painfully long replacement process I had issues with the transmission since the replacement, took it in several times for inspection and adjustment and was told it's fine and just keep driving it. Over 6k miles and a year later, same exact issue happened with the transmission they put in. Had to be towed from Keystone. Got it in and was told there's no transmission fluid in it, but there's also no leaks anywhere. More shop time, more flush/fills. Again I'm told it's fine. Had a long haul planned to Cali withs trailer so went in several times to make sure it checked out ok. Several flushes and refills later they say it's good. Regional manager said he checked trans fluid level but only went out to parking lot with OBD scanner, can back a few minutes later and said "everything looks fine" - but that's now how a Tundra works so what was he "checking"? Same manager said he replaced a sensor but magically that's nowhere on the service report at all, nor is half the stuff they claimed the claim was done. Also they changed oil before my trip and didn't put oil drain plug back correctly so dripped all the way home and onto my driveway. Simplest of tasks and it gets messed up. Faith is gone. Got to Fruita with an empty trailer, far below vehicles capacity, and started seeing smoke - spewing trans fluid. Got into local shop and they say they pulled out 1.5 quarts of overfilled trans fluid, plus whatever I puked out. So Pride overfilled it and sent me on my way. Now I'm told "we can't do anything more for you". Three other shops later, including dealership, and the general consensus is faulty install and/or bad replacement transmission. Either way I'm dead in the water and they've washed their hands of it. I've sat in that lobby enough hours to know they PRIDE themselves on upsells and unnecessary work, straight from their own mouths. Kinda funny what you learn just listening. What a nightmare. Lots of data for my attorney to chew through now.

They charged me $2,261.38 and replaced the alternator, belt, battery, and EGR valve. The same day I picked it up, the emissions light came right back on. When I returned (the next day), they claimed it was a "new issue" and wanted another $1,100. How does a brand-new problem appear immediately after a full diagnostic and major repairs? It really feels like they misdiagnosed the original problem. I paid for a comprehensive diagnostic and still left with the same warning light and stalling. Very frustrating and disappointing. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this shop.

I referred my elderly parents to Rick and some friends from work. My parents had an older Toyota 4runner and Rick really worked with them to get it running great. Rick never took advantage of my elderly parents such as other places had, and he really took extra care, over and above what I would consider customer service with them. I really appreciate Rick, and you just don't find them like this now days.

Wow! I found these guys looking for a shop to give a tune-up and replace a couple of body parts on…read morean old Ridgeline I bought. I scheduled an appointment and--unlike SO many other mechanic shops--they were actually ready for my vehicle at the appointment time! Rick and Joe are just great. Not only did they make the repairs in a timely manner, they brought to my attention a couple of other things that should be taken care of at some point, but weren't critical; I had them make the repairs. At no time did I feel that I was being pressured to pay for more repairs than is necessary and I guess because I'm an elderly woman, people try to take advantage of me sometimes (especially mechanics!). Hey--I may be old, but I'm not stupid. The price I paid was reasonable and better than other mechanics I've used in the Denver metro area. I was so happy with their work that I asked if they could take a look at my classic BMW (the last shop, Saul's, did more harm than good); I wanted to know if the work I paid for was actually done, and how well (the car had new issues after taking it to Saul's). Even though they don't advertise as a shop for BMWs, or for classics, they did a little work on it and made a huge improvement in the sound and feel (complicated stuff) of the car. I think I'm going to have to bring it back in to try a couple of new things to make it perfect, but it's like night and day already. I am spreading the word, and I know plenty of people who aren't thrilled with their mechanics--yet!

We've taken a few different cars to this shop. They're fast, great communication, and do the job…read morewell. We have had a warranty repair for a coolant leak and no questions asked, they fixed the issue at no cost. We've also had them do some exhaust work (cat converter), alternator replacement, water pump, oil changes, diagnostics... we've used them a lot. The only issue I have is their cost for parts. They will do the repair using customer parts, but no warranty if you go that route. If the part fails, that's on you... But, they literally charge 2x retail for the parts they have quoted me when doing repairs. At least that's what I've found when checking on parts they've installed for me. I understand shops need to make a little love on what they install, but they seem high. We all have a choice and I chose to pay them more to do the work so I didn't have to. If you need a reliable shop that does good work, and you don't mind paying a little extra, they're good. Will they recommend stuff for preventive maintenance and try to upsell you? Yes, of course they will, but they've never recommended something to me that I wasn't already expecting. No complaints, I'm just whining about their parts pricing, which is why I only gave 4 stars.

I cannot recommend this place enough!…read more After owning my Tesla, and not really having to deal with car maintenance aside from overnight updates to my software, I must admit I was dreading getting the oil change. I remember a few years ago going to a place in Denver for a simple oil change and return to pick up my car with hundreds of dollars of extra charges for things they insisted I "NEEDED" and I was dreading that this might be the same. I was surprised and delighted by how friendly everyone working there was. They took great care of my car and had it completed sooner than expected, even without an appointment. I will say the location is a bit tricky, not that it's hard to get to, but it's a bit confusing because it is connected to another shop. When you pull in past the gas station where Google and Apple Maps will lead you the first entrance and bay of garages is actually for a shop that is connected to the side. You have to keep going along the front Side of the building and then you'll see their entrance and garages about halfway down. You'll know you venture the right spot when you see incredible Lego build in the lobby. It was only $100 to have my BMW oil changed and the oil filter. They did say I would need a new air filter on my next visit, but they only charge the $40 or whatever the cost is without markup when you add it to your oil change. This all seemed very reasonable to me. It was much less than I expected actually. Another detail I appreciated, worth mentioning is the fact that the sticker of my mileage and when to return on my window typed and printed not hand written. I was really relieved to see this. I know it's probably not a big deal but I hate when it is some sloppy marker writing stuck in the corner of my car window for the next 3 to 6 months. It looks cleaner and more professional. Thank you so much to the team, I'm grateful to have found a place that will make having my car maintenance done done much less painful :-)

Above and Beyond We…read morewere using the Rickenbaugh Volvo dealership for a decade we started feeling like their service department was taking advantage of us. After getting treated poorly at the dealership when questioning certain services and prices, we called Parker Imports to compared options and prices. We found their prices to be better with a must more friendly advisor that took time explaining things. About a year ago we had the dreaded check engine light come on. Parker Imports found a common leaking problem with our model and explained options, which to fix appropriately, woild be a full set of gaskets, 12 or so in all. The work was completed and PI requested to keep the vehicle an extra night to ensure it wasn't still leaking. Well, they found it was still leaking and the culprit was a defective gasket from the set. The tech had to redo the whole thing, which I researched and saw how involved this job is. it was completedMay correctly and we appreciated the care that went into working with us and explaining the steps. Instead of just off giving our Volvo back the tech had the expertise to keep testing, which saved us brining the Volvo back. We thank thay tech for all the hard work. PI did not charge us more, nor complain about the extra time it took to fix it right. Fast forward to Feb 2025 and another check engine light comes on. It was yet another leak AND the supercharger was leaking too. A supercharger replacement was suggested by PI when we replaced the gasket set but opted not too. Well, the Same tech had to go back in and do a different seal and resolved the charger. This fix was costly so they agreed to work with me on the price. They were honest and friendly the entire time. Thank you!
