I came in today with a flat tire, the tow truck dropped it in a space, and in no more than 30 minutes, my car was in a bay and being worked on. (I did show up at 8 am right when they opened.) This morning SUCKED, and needing my car for work, I was stressed about missing the whole day of work. They got my car done in an hour and helped me miss only about an hour of work. So appreciated! During service, the technicians broke my lug nuts and told me they replaced them "complimentary." When I got home, I discovered I was missing a lug nut entirely. No one mentioned it before I left. When I returned, they claimed it must have "fallen off on the drive home", even though it had just left their shop. They couldn't even fix the problem they created and sent me to Brakes Plus. Once I got to Brakes Plus, I was told they needed a letter from Discount Tire accepting responsibility before they could complete the repair. I called Discount Tire to get the letter, and instead of helping, the employee was rude, constantly interrupted me, told me I was wrong, and refused to provide the documentation Brakes Plus requested. When Brakes Plus was finally able to do my inspection, not only was my tire missing a lug nut, Discount Tire also left a broken lug nut on so I was driving around with three lug nuts. Which is incredibly dangerous. This entire experience was unprofessional, dishonest, and incredibly frustrating. I left with a missing lug nut along with a broken lug nut that created a safety concern, and then treated with disrespect when I tried to get the issue resolved. I expected accountability and basic customer service, but received neither but instead was met with lies and coverups they refused to take responsibility for. I will never return to this location and would strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting them with your vehicle. read more

UPDATE: Cade came through! Called and told me that they had the tires, and they would get me right in. Tires were done in record time! Really appreciate this, as I didn't want to have to worry about a tire blowing. My brothers took the BMW defensive driving course, but I didn't, because I got my license at 29. Oh well. Anyway, adjusted rating accordingly. Discount Tire got it done. They really are trustworthy and kind, even though someone in the warehouse fouled up. I brought my ancient Mercedes convertible in for an air check before going to Emissions. This is a summer car, and the furthest I've ever driven it is to Frederick. The tires look brand new, no visible tread wear at all. Rubber seems fine. But Josh checked them and said that since they're 10 years old, bad things could happen. So we ordered new tires and set an appointment for Saturday at 10. I arrived at 10:08, and Daniel checked me in. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. My car stayed where it was. Finally, at around 11:40, Cade comes and tells me that the warehouse sent the wrong tires. What?! And they're just finding out after I sat there for 1.5 hours?! I was very unhappy. I had errands and two more appointments. That's an hour and a half that I will never get back. Why didn't they check for the tires when I came in? And why did I wait an hour and a half when my appointment was at 10 am??? Cade said that this is their busy season. They have three 10 am appointments, three at 10:30, three at 11, etc. He said that he would try and have the tires sent over later that day, and would call me. This did not happen. It's Monday, and I do not think that have time to get tires. They'll have to wait until I return. Cade assured me that I would not have to wait at my next appointment, and my tires will be put on immediately, which is very nice, but I doubt that I can find the time today. I also wonder how he can do that, if they're scheduling three appointments every half hour, and it takes about an hour and a half for each car. (EDIT: it does not take that long to put on the tires. That includes waiting time.) The tires were crazy expensive because of the stupid effing tariffs. That just adds insult to injury. I have always liked Discount Tire, and have never gotten tires anywhere else, but this foul-up is unconscionable. I will say that Cade was very apologetic and is doing his best to make it right. I appreciate that, but I did waste time that I couldn't spare. They really should check for the tires when the customer arrives. Not over an hour later. I will update this review when I finally go back for the tires. They may have to hold them for a while. Saturday was Tire Day, today is other things. I hope that they don't accidentally sell them to someone else. I've already paid for them. I certainly hope that a tire doesn't blow, as Josh said it might. The spare is getting replaced too, as it is over 20 years old. Arrrrrggghhh. They did very nicely say that they would try to find a wheel for the spare, which is a full-size tire. I hope that they can. They found a tire to fit my wheel. That works. So now I have five new tires. read more

Went in for a tire rotation on schedule, the teenage kid is telling me the won't rotate the tires but are willing to sell me new tires. If I'm a customer and paid for free rotations I expect for these ppl to do what I booked the appointment to do, not stand there and act like I don't know about tires in winter. I went to Les Schwab (LS) yesterday---where I mistakenly bought my tires from. My tire was leaking. The LS guy (Caleb) said I probably have a nail. He said I had to go online and make an appointment. I asked why I couldn't have it looked at right then or why I couldn't just go inside and make the appointment? He said I could only do it online. This is a safety issue and LS is two weeks out on appointments. Never going back again. Stick with Discount 1000%. They gave me a great deal on my tire repair and were beyond decent. I was fully expecting these people to try to sell me a whole new set of tires, even though there wasn't that much mileage on them yet. Do not go to the Discount tire in Lincoln and Yosemite, Alejandro J and Jacob M jacked up my 4x4 suv from the pinch weld, instead of the frame, causing the rocker panels severe damage on all 4 corners, as well as the doors to not open correctly. I pointed all of this out in the parking lot before picking up the vehicle. They apologized and said they would refund me my 88$ and did. Jacob and Alejandro both admitted to working on the vehicle, but both denied doing it. When I have photographic proof that it happened it their care, I have before and after pictures of the vehicle when it was dropped off, the claims people for discount tire denied the claim today on 11/7/24. But they did offer me a "$200 concession" they gave me the run around for a month and a half. It happened on 9/21/24. They are incompetent and do not own up to their screw ups. It will be thousands of dollars to repair. The car is old, but only has 74,000 miles. They do not take care of your stuff and will not provide a resolution even when it is CLEARLY their fault. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT. read more

Went back numerous times, four attempts at getting my tires balanced before I gave up and went somewhere else. Every time I came back they said they were not balanced and blamed it on something other than the fact they DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!
