I have to give 5 stars for the last experience I had with the manager Jamin. I had 200.00 worth of gift cards that didn't seem to work no matter what I did or who I called. He took the time to not only call the number on the back but also call Sam's club customer service and fix my issue for me while I was as the store. Most people would have said sorry you will have to call the number in the back and have corp fix it. He truly cares and took the time to figure a solution not send me home with my problem. I really appreciated the time and care he took for me ! read more

We were pretty excited about this trial membership, just to see what Sam's might offer that Costco doesn't. Though we found a few gems, the lack of healthier, organic options in this day and age is astounding. My wife said she feels like we're back 20 years with the food options. Lots of cheap, unhealthy stuff, poorly displayed and little to no help. It's definitely a large Walmart w a few deals. Sams Club is a giant warehouse store that sells everything in large bulk quantities. The employees at the member services desk were helpful and friendly. I recently got a new membership and wanted to try this place out. The prices on certain items are good and sometimes there are samples, giveaways, and "doorbuster" price sales. I like the new "Scan and Go" feature on their app that allows you to scan the bar code on the item you plan on purchasing and when you are done to pay with a saved credit card. This to me is a benefit, as the alternative would be to wait in long lines at the check out. I also like the cafe as they sell food for very inexpensive prices. An all beef large hot dog and large fountain drink for only $1.35. read more

This location has a tendency of only having one associate at the counter when helping with returns. Feedback for the store management: please always have multiple associates at the return counter for returns, especially on a busy Sunday or weekend. This would make the line go a lot quicker and all customers helped and taken care of. A second associate came to help but it shouldn't have had to take as long as it did for that to happen. read more

Came in and waited 20 min for one of the tire guys to come to the front and when he did he told me my appointment wasn't today... ok I'll reschedule but the attitude this guy had was ridiculous and rude. I was really impressed with the service provided from staff. I grabbed a cart from outside, (there were a number of them outside). To my surprise there were alot of carts inside. And inside of the store there was several clean , ready for customers use. The greeter noticed I brought a cart in from outside and cleaned it for me. The store was clean and orderly. Staff was steadily stocking merchandise. There was plenty of staff to assist customers and answering questions. We placed a grocery order online and they texted me saying that it would be ready. I went and pulled up in the spot. Let them know I was there, 35 to 40 minutes later I am still waiting in the parking lot with nobody helping me with the food I ordered, nor did they contact me to let me know they would be running late or any communication whatsoever. I was so frustrated and I contacted them and let them know that I've been waiting for a while, they said they'd be right out. That did not happen.. It would have been so much easier to go to Costco. I could have walked in, shopped and done self-checkout and go back to my car in less time. Sam's left me hanging for the majority of an hour, no communication, no apology, and still did not give the groceries. I'm adding this piece just now because I was such a text from Sam's club saying to come pick up my groceries this morning after waiting over 35 to 40 minutes last night not receiving them. And I just received a text update roughly 30 seconds ago that said they canceled my order. So Sam's club does not know how to give proper customer service when somebody orders product and pays them for their services, but they do not follow through on their end. They leave you hanging for 40 minutes. They tell you to come back. They do not respond. When you tell them you've been waiting and you need your food. Then they cancel the order on you even though you've already asked more than once for them to. Please help you. I would not recommend going here ever. I would recommend Costco getting your business and having a lot more respects for their clients and customers read more

I love that this place always seems empty when I get inside! The lines move fast and the employees are helpful. I just did a pick up order and it was great! All the employees were so nice! Stood in line for 10 minutes to buy a $1 soft pretzel. When I stepped up to order, the employee walked away to do something in the back for 3 more minutes. Finally ordered my pretzel and was told there were no pretzels ready, and in the 13 minutes I was standing in line to order, an order for 20 pizzas came through and they were just getting started on those. I was told that their conveyer belt oven would be tied up for about 20 minutes until all those pizzas were cooked until they could throw my pretzel in. Apparently, there was no way to place a pretzel on the same conveyer belt among those 20 pizzas. So I walked away with nothing after waiting 15 minutes to be rudely told I'd have to wait another 20 minutes for a pretzel. I guess I give them credit for not just taking my order and making me wait with no explanation, but if that's the best thing I can say about the incompetent staff, Sam's Club is in deep trouble. read more

Can I leave 0 stars. We bought noodles and company gift cards for Christmas for my granddaughter. When she decided to use them she was told there was 0 balance on them. Of course Noodles said they could not help us and to go back to the store where we purchased them. When we went to Sam's we were told under no circumstances would they return our money and to go back to Noodles. Sam's sold them to us and not only would they not provide a refund they gave us no resources on how to get our money back. I am a member at both Costco and Sam's. I know Costco would have handled this immediately and offered us a refund. This is the reason Costco is packed ... their customer service is top notch along with their outstanding variety of merchandise... and why Sam's is always empty and continues to look like a picked over department star during the peak of Covid. We've been members since Sams started and have decided for the first time in decades not to renew our membership. This is a testament to what they've become!! read more

Since the CoronaVirus made it's way to Colorado, I want to thank all of the employees for really STEPPING UP and helping us all in the store during these trying times. There inventory of the majority of foods and of course toilet paper and water have been available which I greatly appreciate. I have seen management come outside in the lines and giving us directions and telling us whether or not which items they no longer have. I forgot his name but my hats off to him as well. I frequent this location as it is close to my office. It's easy for me to make a quick stop for gas or some groceries. I have also abused this for a quick, inexpensive lunch selection. You can actually go to the snack bar if you are not a member. It's usually got things the other stores have. I have made it a habit to ask them to check stock in the Sam's by my house if I can't find something that I saw here a week ago. Tire center - Less than Walmart Service. Online reservations through offshore service center. I show up and they scheduled the wrong time. Reschedule since only one person working and no customers. Show up three days later at scheduled time. No one to help for 15 minutes. Three workers working on personal car and talking on personal call. Finally they Take car back for R&B of tires and remove a nail. When finished, said I was ready to go. Great, you were able to remove the nail? Oh, no we weren't able to do that, there is also some other damage and you need a new tire. WOW - send me down the road with a bad tire. I Have road hazard isn't it covered? Yes it is. Do you have a new tire in stalk, yes but no time to change it. four workers and no cars in the shop (that should have told me something). Talk to store manager and they get them to change tire. After complete, have a gut feeling and look at tire, what a surprise, they put on the wrong size tire. 2.5 hours in total, only one other customer the entire time and four incompetent workers. Avoid Sam's in Lone Tree like the plague. If they offer you free tires, say no and go pay full price elsewhere. I am now stuck finding another store to check their work. Now I realize why Costco tires is so busy, they actually care. read more

A weekly trip to Sam's Club has been the norm for me since I became a member about six months ago. I like their selection of meats, especially the short ribs. However, if you don't go before noon, then they're likely to run out and not cut anymore until the next following day, which is a pity. Their selections of fruits, candy, chips, snacks, etc. are impressive but a bit similar to Costco's. A little more variety than Costco. Speaking of Costco, love that Sam's clubs croissants are packaged in a box versus struggling to plastic wrap (or finding a container) to store Costco's croissants. Sam's Club now offers self-checkout! Lines aren't usually long but self-checkout is always fun for my kids and I to use the scanner. Haha. Gas prices are usually much cheaper here than your local gas stations so that is another pro. I'm sure I'll always be a member here but I do still need my Costco membership for little things Sam's lack. Overall, Sam's Club is still great! Wow, what an experience. Went in for what seemed like a simple thing, to open a membership on a Tuesday afternoon. Unluckily the person about 3 people ahead of us in line had some immense issue that took forever to solve. No issues with the person who had to deal with that or the fact that it happened, thats life. But the way that management handled it was atrocious. There was a line of us waiting at a standstill for more than 20 minutes before they finally sent over another employee. At that point, the sales manager started to just process returns. After a few of these to thin out the line, those of us at the front, who at this point had been waiting the longest and were seeing everyone go ahead of us, spoke up. Turns out the sales manager didn't know how to memberships? At least that's what he told us as an excuse. Either way, what should have been a fairly easy situation was made so much more frustrating by that experience. Ultimately we spent about 35 minutes in line, before the poor checkout girl who *could* process our membership got a chance to help us out, which took about 3 minutes. I looked around for a little while after that, but I definitely won't be returning to this particular Sam's. I'll drive to the slightly further one to see if service is a little better. read more

I wold be surprised if you didn't know what Sam's Club is. Here it goes, just in case. Sam's club is a store (owned by Wal-Mart actually) that you pay a membership fee. For that fee you basically get to buy super sized and limited items. It really is cheaper, for a lot of items. yet you have to be ready to bulk up for with 3-months of rolls or toilet paper. Certain items they do give you in regular size. Gallons of milk, for instance, come 1 gallon at a time at a great price. Same for Yogurt. Yet if you want a dozen eggs your out of luck (you have to buy the farm). There is virtually no customer service at Sam's Club though if you show up on a Saturday afternoon you will get a free lunch (lots of samples). They check every receipt as you exit, which slows you down and is annoying. You almost always will wait in line for a register Yet, those are the expectations. I still give the place 4 stars because they consistently deliver low prices and value. Also - check the sam's branded item. They are often just as good or higher quality than the brand counterparts. read more

I had a number of bad experiences in Sam's, but today was the last straw. I went to get gas. No real line today, but I saw 5 open spots on the other side of my fuel door. I flipped around like I have many times. I scanned my phone, to pump gas and a man named Dennis working the pumps told me it was a one way. I explained I didn't know and I would make sure to not do this next time. Instead, he went and turned off the entire pump for me and the customer next to me because "I didn't follow his rule". I couldn't believe how horribly it was handled. After going inside to talk to a manager, I was told they can't do anything because that is what management tells them to do. The one star is worth it because I went directly over to Costco and had a better experience my first time than I ever had at Sam's. Help yourself and go to Costco, I promise you won't regret it! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life by both the cashier and the Manager. Don't buy a gift card from the cashier with the black and green hair, he'll try to charge you twice for your gift card and then give you the worse attitude you'll ever see. The manager will come over with an equally poor attitude and take 10 minutes checking on weather or not you were really charged for the gift cards, apparently they couldn't tell by the receipt, it was funny because I have never worked there nor do I know their system, and I could read from the receipt that I was charged for the card and the system did not activate the gift card. It was their error, my inconvenience waiting for them to figure it all out, having to deal with poor attitudes and horrible service. I'm closing my membership and going to Costco. read more

Not a great experience, and this will be long. My wife and I bought gift cards last year at Christmas. We went to use them and were slightly embarrassed when we were told they had no balance and we should take them back to where they were purchased. I did so and was told by a man that was called over to call the number on the back of the card and they would help. Called the number only to find out that you can only check balance and find locations. Being on the parking lot went back inside to see what could be done. I asked the young lady at the service desk and she said that they could not be returned. I asked to speak to a manager. After a minute two men approached me and stood on the other side of the stanchions and the younger man "said sorry it is not our policy to return gift cards and it was written online and behind the register". I was not having a good day and having been in customer service for decades kind of had a melt down. First don't bring two people kind of seems ready for a fight and need back up, second approach me and introduce yourself, third ask questions on what is going wrong don't just start with it isn't our policy, fourth be empathetic tell me you understand how frustrating it must be and explain you would like to help but can't. I.E treat me like a person. When you tell me it is our policy that is simply telling me I don't matter and you don't want to help. Like I said I losted it and threw the cards at what I thought was a trash can but it was a shredder. I was then asked if I was going to pick them up, which I replied no. I was then asked to leave the store and told we were adults and I needed to respect him. I don't blame the young man I just feel no one taught him customer service. I then picked up the cards and left. I felt really bad and tried to call the store to apologize but the after choosing the option to speak with an associate it rang and rang and was never answered. I tried 3 times and was never answered on either of the three. I certainly apologize to the young man for my actions. I just wish people that tell me I need respect them and be an adult would understand it goes both ways and a little empathy would go a long way. I can't speak for my wife but I am done with Sam's Club but maybe you can fix it for others going forward. I also would like to mention I recently lost my 22 son and have been dealing with severe grief. Not an excuse for my actions but just to say you never know what someone is going through and empathy goes a long way. Hopefully this is used as what I feel it should be a teaching moment and not another excuse to say the customer was crazy, best of luck to your team. read more

They usually have pretty good deals, but you have to know your prices. My biggest problem is they do not carry the same products all the time. I know this helps to keep adding more products to their inventory. I also tried to locate a #HTCM8 phone case, one of the top ten phones, but they did not seem to have one unfortunately. My mom is a member and I go there often with her to help her with all the heavy stuff. A couple weeks ago we went to buy 3 big rugs. They were stuck pretty tight in a container. We asked for help and in 5 minutes we had at least 7 people helping us. Not only did they exceed our expectations with helping us out, they were all so nice. One of the guys working there even helped us put the rugs in our truck. We go here often and it is always enjoyable but that day really set the standards high. Worst customer service at the tire center. Older guy told me on the phone when I called around 11 AM that they did not have any appointments until 3 o'clock and to come right in to get 4 new tires put on. I definitely stressed that these new tires were desperately needed & he reassured me that I could come in and he'd hold the tires for me and get my car into the bay the moment I got there. Showed up right before 12 PM and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was at the front desk. He had black glasses, white mustache, very tan. When I told him we spoke on the phone a little while ago and was there to get 4 new tires for my Corolla he response was, "Can't." I asked what he meant and he said, "All appointments are booked." I quoted his exact words that he told me over the phone about having openings until 3 PM and he shrugged at me and then told me he could *maybe* do it tomorrow. I told him unavailable tomorrow and all he did was shrug and then wave me away. As if telling me to get out of there and stop wasting HIS time? I understand mechanics' first instinct isn't customer service. But being a normal, courteous person and staying true to your word is not that hard. Especially being the age he was, you'd expect he would have learned some manners during his life. He should stay in the garage and not interact with any customers. At all. The layout of this club is foreign to me because I have in the past visited the Southlands location more but since that one is so far from home these days I'm more likely to go here. The last time I was at this place I needed to renew my membership and it was a huge pain the ass. First of all, the girl at the register wasn't able to downgrade my membership from the more expensive one so after checking out I had to go to the customer service counter where they proceeded to take, and I'm not even exaggerating, a half an hour just to get my membership changed over (downgraded) and print a new card. It was pretty ridiculous. It wasn't just this occasion where the customer service counter has been slow as a snail either. The aisle configuration isn't logical which is really my biggest issue and even though the two stores that I shop at are relatively close geographically they don't really carry the same stuff in the grocery section or any other section for that matter. The liquor sales portion if this one is also inferior to Southlands but at the end of the day when I'm just going in for gas, massive amounts of toilet paper and paper towels convenience is the goal. read more
