I have my car on the rack here getting some new tires installed. While waiting I went next door and picked up a pair of pants. Then I tried to go in Costco to buy some rice and they would not let me in with my shopping bag - said I had to put it in my car, WHICH IS ON THEIR LIFT! I actually looked at the entrance and saw a sign for no animals but nothing about my own personal property. Meanwhile plenty of women went in with purses, strollers and other assorted shoulder bags. Then , when I repeatedly asked "Why?", even the manager would not tell me the reason. THAT is why I refused to give them any more money. I'm tempted to have the tire shop take the four new tires off and refund that, as well. Except now it looks like they have already tossed my old tires on the burn pile. If it is a real policy, they should 1) have a sign and 2) tell me the reason why. Not "Because ". I trust them not to sell me food with salmonella but they won't trust me with a pair of freaking pants???? The tire guys were great. Bought some glasses from the optical department. First of all, the wait way WAY too long. There were only a couple people ahead of me but it was well over an hour. Then they said they couldn't sell me one of the frames because they were out. Um so why were they on display? Oh well, I placed the order for dark grey transition glasses. They come on and I take them home, but it turns out they aren't transitions: So I come back in and wait another hour just to return them and get it corrected. This is after I called ahead and they were expecting me. A manager was behind the counter but decided to take his lunch break while this was getting sorted instead of after. Now they say that to fix their mistake, they're going to charge me the difference, an extra $57. No discounts at all after messing up TWICE and wasting hours of my time. So I'm just returning my glasses instead, and the sunglasses I bought with them. I also cancelled my plan to buy that ultrawide monitor the next aisle over. The manager would rather lose hundreds of dollars because they tried to extort $57 instead of fixing a mistake that was 100% their fault. read more

A Costco representative was there to scan the items before I went to a self checkout stand. The items immediately showed up on the screen when I swiped my Costco card. All I had to do was wait for a Costco rep to check my ID since I purchased alcohol, then I could pay and I was out the door. read more

We ordered a cake for a retirement party, and speaking to the employee when ordering we asked for a very tasteful cake and they stated they would but a champagne glass and other decorations on the cake. Before you consider saving $30 on tires - factor in your time and frustration. Booked an appointment for 2:30 pm on a Monday to do a seasonal tire exchange. I waited THREE HOURS! The staff was rude, lazy, and effectively annoyed to have to answer basic questions. After hour 2 I saw my car was unmoved from its parking spot, I went into inquire when my car was being worked on - as I was promised it would be ready in 2 hours. They rolled their eyes and said it's next - it will be done in 45 minutes - 15 minutes after the promised time. Sure buddy it's totally normal to wait 3 HOURS for a tire exchange. When my car was finally ready - I had to wait 20 minutes in line to pick up the car - there was only 2 ppl in front of me - but the sales associate had to chit chat with a customer about Colorado traffic laws. While checking on the status of my newly acquired membership, I stood in an unreasonably long line, overhearing an employee asking a customer ahead of me signing up for a new membership all sorts of inappropriate questions. These questions sounded more Intune of a criminal interrogation than anything else. When it was finally my turn, I was not spared this type of treatment, the counter employee treated me with with such rudeness, disrespect and in such a condescending tone that I canceled my membership and will never return. Everything here was uncomfortable from the overcrowded small parking lot to the unorganized and chaotic store entrance and general store layout. Horrible place and company. read more

Went to return one item & the lady working the cash register was extremely rude. Unfortunately I did not get her name. She finished with the customer in front of me and then looked up at me and didn't say anything. I was waiting for her to call me up, but she never did. She proceeded to fiddle with some things in the cash register and then walk away. Then she completely left her station and never came back. There were several people that had come around this time and were waiting in line behind me to return something. If she was done with her shift, it would've been nice for her to make an announcement and tell the people waiting in line that she was no longer working and we were to go to another line. But she did not have the decency to do that. Instead she stared at us, and then just walked away, leaving us, wondering if we were going to even be able to return our items. Finally, we were able to return when somebody else came up a few minutes later. Then we were walking around the store after and saw her again, just walking around the store, and she gave us a dirty look. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I really wish I had gotten her name. She was white, with dark black hair and a lot of makeup. Costco should really work on training their employees better. read more

Tire Center review: Have had seasonal tire replacements done on both cars. With an appointment, the wait has been 2.5-3.5 hours this season. On one tire, there was a nail and was told by Costco last year that it had to be repaired when it was exchanged. I was called almost 3 hours in to waiting to be told that they actually couldn't repair it, AND it would be another 45 minutes before the car was ready. So I found a Groupon and decided to get a new membership. It's costco..a zoo. I got 2 things..I'll try them..and give you my thoughts. The good: Rotisserie chicken pot pie. Good, really freaking good, packed with chicken and flavor. Bake that bad boy for about an hour and a half and this bad boy can feed 6 ppl. Pro tip: roast a few bulbs of garlic at the same time to smear on a baguette you serve with this yummieness. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Also impressed this location had them. Parker location wasn't going to be making them till after Thanksgiving. Goes to show each location has different way of doing things. The bad: Shepards pie. WTF do you have to ruin a simple classic by putting mushrooms in it?? Was a total bummer to realize this thing was loaded with them. Was also a bummer that it was very bland. There was no beef flavor it. It was probably one of the most bland Sheppard pies I've ever had..and yes..I picked the mushrooms out of the few scoops I had of it. Luckily my guests didn't mind the mushrooms and were going to dr it up themselves so I wouldn't go to waste and took the leftovers. I'd love if they got their app game more solid so you could scan and check out on your phone like Sam's club. Would make it a more pleasant experience. read more

Do not be fooled by their low prices -- it will cost you much more in time and aggravation. I bought a set of Bridgestone Alenza tires with an 80k mile warranty. After 45k miles, all 4 tires were below 3/32 and needed replacement. I stopped in (I did not have an appointment). A tech measured the tire wear and said they should be covered under the warranty, but a manager would have to sign off. I made an appointment for two days later when a manager would be available. After a 2.5-hour wait, another tech measured the tires and said that no manager was present again and I should make another appointment. He also said that they would not warranty the tires because I had them rotated at Brakes Plus (instead of Costco). I showed paperwork proving they were rotated and explained that most people can't make multiple trips and wait for hours for the Costco Tire Center to rotate tires. He promised to have the manager call to discuss the warranty and the reason for not covering the tires, but I haven't heard from anyone. I'll be taking my personal vehicles and company trucks back to Discount Tire. They may be a little more expensive than Costco, but they honor warranties and keep their word. read more

Went to look at engagement rings to see what selection is available in the store. They have more styles online and you can purchase and have it shipped to the store. The Store only carries size 7s and the rings can be sized down two sizes but it depends on style. Some can only be sized down one size. Andrew was so helpful and friendly. He explained the policy and sizing abilities. A manager is required to open the engagement ring case so Michael came to help. He was also helpful and let me know they would be pleased to Dell me a ring and I could get it sized. I do like the selection of rings Costco has. The only concern is a warranty for the life of the ring. Their prices are good and the rings usually appraise for more than their price according to some people I know who've gotten their rings there. This location is a zoo on weekends. So, Park Meadows' new ID policy. Two people at the front door to check membership ID. First one said ok after showing your ID, second one says I need to see your ID too....wtf! When you're ready to check out now you have to show you ID card to another person to get in any if the lines fast express self check out & regular lines w/ humans checking you out. At self check out theres humans theur again, can i see your ID and help check you out?! Hell no! 5ft away i just showed my ID, if i need help i wouldnt have asked for fast self check out line!!! I really cannot say enough about my local Costco store in Park Meadows as well as their online ordering and service install team!. During Covid, I decided to purchase my new Kitchenaid stand mixer (yep the big one). Costco offered the best price in town and free delivery! Love my new machine. They have an outstanding liquor department at this store. My girlfriend even travels across town to pick up her favorite Kirkland white wine... she said it is totally worth the trip! All of the Kirkland spirits are outstanding including their vodka, gin and tequila. I personally like the American vodka over the French but try them both... they are cheap enough.. And their Kirkland version of Baileys is great! No way can you beat their prices! But by far the best purchase at Costco this year was my new appliances. Costco offered a discount if you purchased 4 of the same brand appliances. I chose the Samsung suite..... Costco offers a 2 year warranty (Home Depot and Lowes only give a 1 year warranty) and free installation....During the pandemic there has been a huge back order on appliances. But Costco, sent regular email communication on my order. The next best thing, Costco has FREE installation (via a 3rd party installation team) and FREE haul-away! Geeezzz, I don't need to sell them.. they sell themselves.... My shinny new appliances came this week... they were delivered and installed as they said! They coordinated everything with the installers (who were awesome!) and I didn't have to worry about anything except to keep a cleared area and be at home! Costco you are GREAT! read more

The employees that helped us this morning were not great at all. One guy who "helped" us scan our food made it very clear we were not welcome. We bought something from the bakery today and there wasn't a single indication it was a two pack because there wasn't a sign NOR were they stuck together. The guy got angry at us for it. We also bought some fresh produce and there wasn't a barcode on top. The man said indicating it was our problem (which it's not) "there's no barcode on it." It was under the box. Then, when we were checking out another lady got mad at us for just getting one box of the item from the bakery. She said it messes with their units. I love Costco, my fiancé loves Costco, our dog loves Costco (she's never been but we buy her food here, plus the occasional toy bc they have great deals) - we all love it. The deals are great, the Kirkland brand doesn't disappoint, this location is always kept clean, and who doesn't love a $1.50 hot dog and soda. The reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because the parking lot is always so chaotic I always think I'm going to get hit. I love Costco. I used to have a membership to Sam's Club, too, but one had to go, so bye-bye Sam's. Costco just has better stuff at fair prices, sometimes GREAT prices. I take a bath in Epsom salts every night. Costco has 12 pounds of Dr. Teal's for $7. Unbeatable. Bananas are really cheap. I get all my coffee beans there, too, as I am a dedicated coffee fiend, and the thought of ever running out fills me with terror. The bad news is that I go there with my list, and sometimes bad things happen. Once I ended up coming home with a 17-foot ladder. It does come in handy, though. I narrowly avoided buying a Cuisinart that had 14 attachments because I already have one that is over 20 years old, but works perfectly. The liquor department is also great. They had Don Julio 1942 for $99, when it was $114 on sale near me. (It's $128 now, though. I don't know what it costs at Wineseller.) The Kirkland Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc is surprisingly good. And only $7!! The meat department is awesome, although the packages are huge. But their prices per pound for filet mignon are usually several dollars below anywhere else. And the rotisserie chickens are the BEST. The employees are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Checkout is fast and efficient. And the gas prices are also good. I need premium gas (kicks self), and Costco is usually the cheapest around. Shoutout to the pharmacy, too. I got a prescription filled for MUCH less than Amazon pharmacy or anywhere else. The pharmacist found some discounts :) Costco.com is also worth visiting. I got Hunter knee-high rain boots for $100 less than Nordstrom or Amazon!! Holy cow. And you can return online purchases to the store, although I am keeping the boots. Love them. I got them for New York/New England and gardening. They're currently filthy, but will be washed off in the sink. Definitely worth the membership. read more

Well, the 3 star rating on Yelp is accurate. I would not recommend this Costco. Very chaotic parking lot. Very chaotic entry and shopping process. Didn't find the usual products that almost EVERY Costco carries. 2 awesome stars for the low prices. Spent only $19. Rude employees , especially a cashier named Laura. She needs retraining on just being a basic , nice , normal human being. I would steer clear of this Costco. So far Parker , Fort Collins and Colorado Springs locations are the ones I would recommend. read more

This Costco location has the least merchandise selection among Costcos in the Metro Denver area. The cashier failed to communicate to customers that she was closing the register which resulted in a 15 minute wait at her checkout line. The new cashier that took over the register failed to greet the customers, and did not communicate throughout the checkout. This is the most frustrating and the most unsatisfying shopping experience we ever had at a Costco location. read more

In 100% honesty, I'm not sure if this is the exact Costco we went to. I just know that it was a horrible Costco near Castle Rock. This place had the worst staff. We were met with TWO troublesome Costco employees while we were there!! There was a group of us there. We got in line and we couldn't decide between which one or the other kind of wine to buy, and (I can't remember exactly but I guess we decided to go get a different wine from across the store?) and the teenage daughter in our group volunteered to rush all the way across the Costco to quickly retrieve what we wanted (her mother is an older woman with knee problems and she originally was going to do it). As she rushed over there, we were met with a super rude cashier. The cashier acted oddly snappy and irrational. She was a middle-aged white woman, a bit on the plump side, with dark hair I believe. The mother went to see where her daughter was since she hadn't returned yet (and should've by then). Turns out, the daughter found what her mother asked for, started walking back to the check-out isles, then some Costco employee swiped the product out of her hands to put it back where it was. The daughter said that she kept trying to explain how her group is waiting in the check-out isle and her mother asked to retrieve the wine, but the employee wouldn't even let her speak and kept telling her that "she isn't 21" so therefore... she couldn't even touch a wine bottle?? Where is the logic in this? If she were to buy it herself, the cashier would've carded her anyway! And what if she was an adult who looks underage, this behavior would've been very rude and inappropriate! I could hardly believe this. The daughter pointed to me later at who this employee was. An older-looking white woman who looked just like a karen (she even had the stereotypical blonde karen haircut). It's funny how she looked just like a karen. Meanwhile at the register, the mother and daughter finally returned as we argued with the remarkably immature cashier. Because that one woman put away the wine we were going to buy, we had to quickly decide between the two wines the mother picked out at the last minute as the cashier kept barking at her to choose. The wonderful gentleman behind us agreed to take one of the wine bottles (one he was fond of) which lifted the burden and resolved the problem. Thank you guy. As we were walking out, the Costco employee at the exit was super kind. He was an African-American fellow who looked around middle-aged or older; hats off to him. Other than that one guy though, this Costco has THE WORST staff. I hope they fire the two Costco employees. read more

Going to Costco is like going to an amusement park; such fun and cool stuff to look at, free food samples, cheap snacks and drinks but no rides. Unless you're under 5 years old then you can ride in the basket. Wheeee! Weekends are really PACKED at this location, but most everyone is polite and patient. There will always be those rude, impatient and self-important people pushing and shoving their way through, as well as the inconsiderate, leave-the-basket-in-your way folks. Get over it. I LOVE this place. Each and every Costco has its unique selection of products to choose from depending on the local demographic. There are the staples of Kirkland products and of course their meats and bakery items, but a Costco in Hawaii vs Canada or California will have very different items. I really love that diversity because I've actually been to those other places! You cannot beat the pricing nor the quality of their products, and this particular one also sells booze!! Yay! This is one of the few Costcos in Colorado that sells booze INSIDE the store. For those who live out of state, that seems really odd to say, but Coloradans know what I'm talking about. Since grocery stores are limited to beer sales only, most Costcos (and all other markets) have a separate liquor store in the same shopping center or next door. Not here. It's all inside. Kirkland makes a lot of fine products, including wine. Their champagne (yes, champagne, made in France) is on point and sells for less than $30/bottle. Their Friulian white wine is less than $10/bottle. And if you prefer bigger brands, they've got Kim Crawford, Duckhorn, Veuve, and many more. If we're talking spirits, I've purchased the Costco tequila and their vodka. Not bad. And around the holidays, I love the little chocolate candy bottles, filled with various alcohol-infused cordials. Again, this is probably not as thrilling for someone who doesn't live around here, but for Coloradans, a Costco with all the alcohol is something special! read more

SECRET!!!! Go take your car there to get your tires pumped up to the correct psi as winter begins and ends. Why? Because it's the best place to do it because of the Nitrogen. Meaning it's more stable in your tire over the temperature change. Did I mention it's a FREE SERVICE???? A friend told me this and the workers are always VERY KIND!!!! So I always check to see the cars there first. And no they do NOT check to see if you are a Costco member. Then again who isn't one? As far as the store? It's always clean, and the best time to go is after the morning crowd and before the lunch crowd. Since this Costco opens at 10am. Right around 11am-11:15 is best time to CHECK OUT because....who likes to wait in line at a register. Usually pretty good about the line to get out. Still quite silly to me!
