No need to place an order. 3. They take Discover so you can get your credit card rewards. 4. Leaving the store you don't need to show the receipt. A person will scan your cart to ensure everything was rung up. Deltas: 1. Same exact items that are over at competitor warehouse are priced about $1 more. 2. I am actually more of a Costco person, but figured I'd give Sam's club a try. This location is pretty convenient for me. I do think it's worth having a membership just for the cheaper gas. The food here is really lacking. Comparing the quality between Sam's club and Costco, Sam's food selection is quite depressing. Tons of cheap, low quality food. The salad I bought recently the leaves were already all soggy and bad. I am not sure also if buying from Sam's club is cheaper than just going to Walmart for instance the thanksgiving turkeys were actually a cent more at Sam's per pound vs Walmart as an example. Sam's Club was desolate on a weekend morning, with staff and 3rd third-party sales pitch employees outnumbering customers. Selection was not as plentiful, and prices on similar items were about $1-2 higher. I was surprised since Walmart tends to be cheaper. I will stick with my membership with the competitor. read more

Sam's Club in Southlands. The women's restroom is superficially clean however it needs a little more attention for real cleanliness. Both handicap stalls were out of order and taped closed The floors I'm sure are mopped, but if you look at the edges, they're very grungy The interior of the stalls need to be wiped down The seat cover holder had a layer of dust on it, and the pad dispenser was not secure and hanging by one screw Overall, I like the store. It seems to be managed well and overall is clean, but these issues in the Restroom tell me that their housekeeping needs to do a little bit better and the management needs to supervise and inspect a little bit better. read more

I come to Sams club weekly for produce and other household goods that I can buy in bulk for a better price. Since I'm a regular visitor of this location many of the staff recognize us and are always friendly and helpful. I also pretty much exclusively buy gas at Sams because it's just cheaper and part of my regular routine. read more

This store has always been avoided by me until the last year. It never seemed to have items that I would buy , it was a bit unorganized, and there really wasn't an employee to help and when I did find one there was a HUGE disconnect. Now, It's not bad shopping at this location but it's not as good as shopping at some other Sam's clubs. They just redid their parking lots and it's nice and smooth. There is a huge parking lot. I do not get hassled for my club card. There are times where I shop and I'll be the only person in the isle. I like that they still have books to purchase. Their bakery section is filled with different treats that beat out Costco for sure. I find the produce and meat prices are lower here and the produce stays longer than Costco as well. I never have to wait in a line as I always do scan and go. I have noticed a huge uptick in customer traffic the last 6 months. It's close to other life's that I shop when I'm in this area so I'll most likely return. read more

This Sams Club next the Aurora Southlands Shopping District is pretty much a cookie cutter of every other Sams Club that Ive been too. But the employees at the customer service desk were friendly and professional when I had a question about my membership. I've shopped at this store for years and noticed it's rated low here on Yelp, which I think is grossly inaccurate. The parking here is excellent even for Sam's Club and the store is easily accessible even during peak hours. I especially appreciate their scan and go app feature which makes checkout a breeze. Also, the store is very clean and well maintained. I also frequent their gasoline store which is also well run and there's sometimes an attendant. read more

Our family shops here weekly and always have a great experience. Huge fan of their Scan & Go. It allows us to scan as we shop and check out via the app bypassing the lines at the registers. Their curbside pick up is another excellent service that we take advantage. Perfect for picking up our weekly staples. read more

I've always had a very good experience at Sam's Club. Customer service is good which I cannot say for Walmart. About a month ago I had an opportunity to go through the checkout and ZAQ helped me. She understands how important it is to find the right frames for my face shape and taste. I didn't find anything because the frame styles I liked didn't have the correct width size for my face. Their prices are really good and selection is great. The employees are friendly and helpful but don't appear to be very happy to work there. I don't get it. There weren't many food sample stations, sadly. After shopping we were hungry for a couple hot dogs. Got them and a slice of pizza and drinks for around $5 so that's good. Dogs were terrific tasting but the condiments station was packets of mustard, ketchup and sauerkraut so lots of packaging waste there and my hotdog bun was ice cold! They didn't warm up our buns so they crumbled easily. :( There weren't enough tables to sit down at so that really sucked!! Overall it was a decent experience I'll definitely be back. read more

When I was a kid I always looked forward to Costco visits. It was something different and we got to stock up (in bulk) on all the things I ever wanted. Well the BF has a Sam's Club membership and having heard about the greatt pricing on fruits and veggies we made our way there this past Tuesday to stock up on some. I was a little underwhelmed with the whole experience. First off they do for sure have great pricing on fruits and veggies versus our local King Soopers. Since we've been making juice and smoothies, it makes more sense to buy some items in bulk. But there's still many things they didn't have, like ginger, kale (they have kale medley bags with spinach and other leafy greens, but not straight kale), and other herbs. Not a problem we picked up what we could. At checkout, the cashier informed us that there was an issue with his membership card. We had to load all our items back into the cart, go to member services, straighten that out, and then go back to checkout. A little inconvenient. Plus she failed to tell us where our receipt printed. So when we went to leave we had to run back and retrieve it from the printer that's by your knees when you checkout. Why they don't just print and hand it to you I don't know. It was just a rather sloppy, fumbled experience on all parts. I know part of it was us and our unfamiliarity with their procedures, but you'd think they would do a little better explaining where and how to do things. I know we'll be back and hopefully our experience goes a little smooth with our new knowledge. read more

Bought a LG fridge on line at Sam's. Ice maker does not work. Contacted Sam's, they said they had nothing to do with it that i had to contact the vendor (LG). I tried to explain the charge was charged by Sam's and they had everything to do with it...to no avail. Contacted LG they took 2 hours of my time "troubleshooting" the icemake over the phone. Finally agreed it was defective and said they would send a new one out THAT I HAD TO INSTALL!! They emailed me the instrutions, BUT NEVER SENT OUT A ICE MAKER. I contacted them several time but got NO HELP. Finally recontacted Sam's and requested a manger and was then referred to some company called HALODISTHD. Called them was told they would be sending out a emial to set up a time for the junk to be picked up... NO EMAIL for over a week. longer story short finally after 1month and 5 days I supposedly have a pickup time between 10 and 2. How kind. Do not use Sam's club if you expect what you buy to work, of if you want ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!! You would think that with the amount of one star rattings they would get their managers to fix the porblems. Just goes to show they are making way too much money because they don't have to fix problems to make their money. Costco, here I come!!! read more

Regret having signed up. Think they have good prices? Think again! Went there yesterday to buy a electronic toothbrush and a Waterpik. Had been doing a bit of research and knew exactly what I wanted and relative pricing. Exact same toothbrush was $18 more than the nearest competitor and the Waterpik a whopping $24 higher than the Walgreens up the road. I asked if they would price match but they don't. Ok, bought my items elsewhere. Meat selection sucks! Mainly "Choice" beef and very little prime.They try to sell "Choice" at a premium by boasting "Angus" when Angus is just a cheap breed of cow and nothing else. It doesn't matter what color Angus it is either as it has no effect on quality. Be careful of your membership renewal! It is automatically set up to renew. You have to opt out of it by either calling or doing it online. Needless to say, I already did. read more

Went to this Sam's Club because the one nearby was absolutely awful. Had to get 4 new tires at the beginning of August and Jimmy in the auto department was quick, informative and easy-going. I called initially and he said to come in right away and he could get working on my car when I got there! He and his team got my new tires on in less than 30 minutes. Later that night, maybe 7 hours after getting the new ones put on, the front driver's side tire popped (no nails or glass or any type of hole), had to put a donut on it until the next day. Came back to this Sam's Club, thankfully Jimmy was there so I didn't have to re-explain everything! Paid $15 for a new tire w/ the insurance policy I got and they had it done in 15 minutes. Super quick & easy process. Also, Jim and Lisa at the Member Services counter were extremely friendly and just seemed happy to help. Jim reminds me of a friendly uncle. It was a little bit of an adjustment for me to get used to the lay out of this location. I don't get here often but I may start to frequent this location. They seemed to have a bit larger of a selection of things in their frozen section. They were out of stock on a few things but I am sure it was because it was just a few days before the holiday. They had all the sample carts out in full force and I espically loved the guy who wears the pizza hat. He tried to feed me but I was literally stuffed from all the carts I ran into before him. You needn't eat lunch before you come here on a Saturday. They also had a deal going where if you applied for a Sam's charge you got 40.00 off your bill that day. Rudest customer service experience ever. My 15 year old and I were checking out and we were wearing our work and school attire and the front end worker at the self checkout treated us horribly . We were given very rude side eyes and dirty looks and i don't believe you should be working with customers if you're gonna be biased. myself Working with many people everyday and I would never treat anyone like this and i am saddened to write this review. she treated me and my son like garbage. I feel like the worker should not have treated us like that, we treated her with respect and kindness. I do not believe she should be working in the front with customers if she has that attitude. This particular time I went in the store to shop and I was in a desperate need of a cheese and fruit platter for our Christmas pot luck at work. Just got a membership here and very disappointed we are VEGAN and they have ZERO vegan items I spoke to the Manager or so he said he was and he was not interested!! DO NOT SHOP AT SAMS!!! Had an interview with Taylor a few weeks ago from today. She called me in for an interview, and upon arriving at our scheduled time of 2 p.m., she was unavailable. I sat around for a while and no one approached me. Ordered 8 pizzas a week before my son's birthday party that cost 81$. We pre-paid for them and they said they would be ready for pickup at 5:45 this Sunday night. During the party my husband left to go get the pizzas and the cafe has no documentation of our order and explained that they also had no pizzas to make us. My husband decided to buy a fruit and cheese tray from the back to at least offer something to the 30 people we were supposed to feed. The fruit was dirty and had to all be washed along with many of the grapes being almost too squishy to eat and many were rotten. The cafe did not refund the money and now we have to go back on another day to get reimbursed for all the food that we never got. We are brand new members to Sams club this week and will not be returning ever again. We are going back to Costco read more

Went in to change the primary account holder since they won't give my husband the cash back and he does most of the shopping. I was told that it can't be done. Ok no problem. We'll get a different credit card. The woman who helped me was Maddie. I give her 5 plus stars. She had the most patience while contacting the credit card company and head office. I finally remembered to review this place. Been meaning to for some time. It's terrible. Let me explain. I dread going to this Sam's Club and only go because it is convenient to my location. We actually have a Costco membership as well and shop there as often as we can. But if we run out of milk and eggs, it's more economical to drive 2 miles to Sam's than 8 miles (plus e470 toll fees) to Costco. That said, I still dread going there. How can such a large corporate chain be SO incredibly inefficient and fall so inexcusably short of the mark? I can't understand how all Sam's clubs are SO sub par and have no class. They can afford to have it if they wanted to. The richest people in the world are Sam Walton's relatives. Issues: - refrigerator and freezer bays are ALWAYS above temperature every time we go there - employees have blazé, "I don't care" attitude (a reflection on the deplorable management) - the managment has been in my experience, UNPROFESSIONAL and lazy - employee recently told me how "dirty and gross" it is there and she was leaving like half the employees have done in the past 2 months. Ok so here's the deal - stores don't run themselves. A store is only as good as the people running it. This place is just a big box with merchandise. I cannot imagine shopping only at grocery stores! This place saves me so much time and money!! I love the qualifying their products and their meat selection. I do not however care for some of their rolls in the bakery such as ciabatta rolls. They do not have much flavor. I place a pick up order about once a week. read more
