I deal with doctors, medical assistants and healthcare professionals on a weekly basis due to having rheumatoid arthritis, two different forms of lupus, Raynaud's disease, Sjogren's, scoliosis and a rare neurological disorder that makes basic day-to-day activities sometimes difficult. There is an employee at this pharmacy location named Shelby, who is nothing short of a bully and has the uncanny skill of making customers feel worse than before, when they're already unwell. She is extremely unprofessional and has been on several occasions to me and my husband--both on the phone and in person. The friendly people who work at the same location are unfortunately overshadowed by the impatient and unwelcoming nature of this particular person. When a human is sick, sleep deprived, in pain, or anxious for possible upcoming scans and tests, kindness from a pharmacy team member can make all the difference in the world. Anyone who's been sick in their life can tell you it's usually a lonely experience, and that feeling of being ostracized is even more pronounced when dealing with workers like Shelby who make one feel not only like an inconvenience but a blurred number among many. No one chooses a life of disease or disability. And what if someone grappling with a new diagnosis calls in and happens to be struggling with suicidal thoughts? Where is the grace and compassion for hurting humans in need of help? I would strongly recommend members of the ranch community in need of a safe dependable pharmacy to look elsewhere and save themselves the grief or any hurt feelings. Kindness is free but priceless. I hate those new paper bags with no handles. I had to bike home and as I biked back I had to switch gears with my left hand on my right handlebar because I was holding one of those wretched bags. The liquid in the bag made be lose balance and I fell going 15mph. Got some really bad scrapes and tore a bit of flesh off my elbow. 3 days later and my finger is still swollen. One of the glass bottles from those Mexican cocoa colas shattered and I lost 2 Arnold palmers. Service was great tho (I can't fully extend my arm anymore) read more

I do not recommend showing up late, however, I did. And I thought I'd have to feel like a big jerk because of it, but Ms. Michelle and Ms. Valentenya made me feel at ease while accommodating my tardiness, when they had absolutely zero reason, or obligation to. I would also like to commend Miss Victoria, the head pharmacist, who always makes me feel like family, which is the reason why I bypass the king Soopers, near my new home, and continue to get my meds filled here. I would highly recommend the King Soopers pharmacy on Quebec in Highlands Ranch - and I would also highly recommend giving all three of these ladies a raise! I have been dealing with pharmacies for 20 years, and the staff here truly treats me like family- so I felt it necessary to leave this review, as it is definitely the best, King Soopers pharmacy in the Denver area! ... If I could give zero stars, I WOULD. Some bald man approached me claiming he was the manager. I think his name was Ken? He has no idea what he's doing, with his hands in his pockets moping around the store while helping no one. The extremely immature man in the deli who calls himself "Foreman" is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. He gave me a rude look from the beginning and how low his pants are~ almost to his knees it looks like~ is appallingly disgusting I wanted to throw up. He was also extremely rude to his employees who were simply trying to help them. I felt bad for them. Why does he scream at me to take my order? He talked unnecessarily loud and in an angry tone, while seeming to slam things around. Overall terrible customer service. Jase and Kody might as well run the place . They helped me find items check me out and get me out to the car. They deserve a raise like 21 dollars an hour. Friendly, smaller neighborhood grocery store with knowledgeable staff and helpful management, good selection for its size, and reasonable prices on most items. They are gradually increasing their selection of organic fruits and veggies, recently brought in Boar's Head meats and cheeses, and usually have some pretty good sales on meat and a few items at great deals in the cheese island. It's always clean, which I can't say for the larger King Soopers up the street. It's also in the closest strip mall to my home, so is very convenient for me. Like most chain groceries, their corporate owner Kroger is strongly resistant to GMO labeling, so if the food comes in a box and doesn't say "USDA Organic" assume it's been engineered in a lab. In the interest of full disclosure, my wife works at the cheese island, and my son spent the summer of '14 working in the deli. I've been a regular customer far longer than they have been employees, so their working here doesn't influence this review much. read more

The pharmacy has gone down hill this last year. This week I called 4 times for a medication you always keep in stock. Once told you gave my script to someone else. The next day, I was promised it would be ready by noon the following day. I told each person I was leaving the state for over a week, and each time I was lied to. Finally you started screening my calls. I will be changing pharmacies. This is not customer service. I should know, I've only worked the field for 20 years. read more

I just had one of the best experiences at King Soopers in Highlands Ranch that I've ever had in my entire life. As a new mother to a two-month-old baby, my mother got the wrong formula and I had to go back to exchange it for the correct one. During the COVID-19 outbreak I figured it would be kind of hard to exchange anyway.A very nice young man at the service center was so kind and helping me figure out the situation and make sure that my baby had the formula that she needed. I have never been so thankful for our Community and workers that have put their lives at risk during this time and have still been able to give us the best service that we could ask for. Thank you so much to the man at the service center for helping me with the formula situation, regardless of the trouble you may get in. I am eternally thankful!!! read more

We have been visiting this store since the day it opened and never have I seen the employees working harder than now. During the pandemic it seems like we are visiting every other day. Ive noticed that employees are doing an amazing job at keeping the store well stocked (to be fair tp, cleaning wipes, paper towels, and other items some people think they need a years supply of are excluded from the analysis), clean, and getting customers in and out quickly. Shout out to the team in the meat department who are always friendly and offer great suggestions on how to prepare meat and fish. You' all are doing a great job! read more

I can't say enough good things about this store, especially about this week. Earlier this week my wife bought a large 4 bone prime rib from the butcher and he was helpful with suggesting the the cut and tie option that I forgot to mention to her when she went to pick it up, which saved me some time with not having to take it back to have that done. I came in to the store Christmas Eve and as you might expect it was crazy busy. I just assumed since i waited till the last minute they would be out of at least some of the dozen or so things I was looking for. To my suprise I found EVERYTHING I needed and even found a great selection of the produce and fruits. What was most impressive was that I had no idea where to find fresh horseradish, so I asked a female employee in the produce section who wasn't sure herself, so she walked me over to the store manager, Errol, who was busy himself working on something in the produce section, but stopped what he was doing and walked with me to aisle #1 and pointed it out. Then when I was waiting in the checkout line the floral manager came over and took me out of line and checked me out herself. I've lived in the Firelight neighborhood and have been visiting this store for over a decade. Over my 45 years I've visited many grocery stores from LA to NYC, Snowmass to Miami, and out of all of those I am most impressed with our neighborhood Firelight store which has some of the friendliest and helpful people I have ever met. read more

Love this store. It's my neighborhood shop, and I'm in here sometimes multiple times a day. Pro tip - get the salmon/cod/halibut/talpia and have them season it and put it in one of their oven bags. Easy and soooooo good. Only drawback is that they sometimes don't have all the items that a bigger Kings does (Miracle Whip made w Olive Oil in a large jar instead of the silly squeeze bottle). I normally give your store 5 stars. I had to come twice this week, due to shortages but that's not your fault and not why I'm unhappy. It's the mask situation. All employees wear masks but not correctly. I almost said no to my meat in the deli today. The lady behind the counter didn't have her mask over her nose. Yesterday the guy behind the customer service desk was even worse, just barely covered his mouth. Please train the employees better for their health and mine. Oh, ya' know, it's King Soopers. It's got good food and bad food (lots and lots of bad food - you know who you are one-pound bag of M&M's and friends) and it has a pretty good selection of both. I'm happy to see more organic fruits and veggies as well as other organic foods - this makes me happy. The more that's offered, the more those prices will come down and that is always a good thing. King Sooper's is a good place to get what you need quickly and easily. The self-service checkout is primo, and the employees I have seen there have always been nice. No complaints. read more

This is the place we have been shopping at for 10 years. The remodel turned out nice. Still trying to figure out where everything is now but it's going ok. However, their selections have changed. For example, the frozen veggies section is a total joke now. Instead they put a mile long freezer in for pre made meals! In general it seems that more junk food, less of the organic an d health store section. Try to find Quinoa? Go to Target. We have been shopping some at Target but will do more now. I have told Kong's Sooper that we are not happy with the current offering they kept or expanded on and the store person only agreed. But now you can buy any beer in the store. Weird to see what's important here. I guess important for the tire but not for us. So so long Kong's Sooper! I am saying this in a sad tone though! read more

Being from the East Coast, I wasn't sure what to expect from this western grocery chain. However, all of my standards were both met and exceeded- the store is gorgeous inside, there is a great variety of products and price ranges for shoppers with varying thickness of wallet, and the staff is really great at being kind and helpful. Although the self-checkout machines in multiple Soopers HATE me, this place was a nice local grocery store. I was really impressed with the produce as soon as I walked in the store. The bananas were actually cheaper than a local farmer's market I usually shop at back home. The entrance is pretty unique being it does not have doors and somehow fits into that Colorado vibe. For a regular grocery store, it had everything I wanted and even some items that I usually have to shop at specialty stores for. read more

This store has the best set up and selection. They always have fresh produce. There is always someone to help you find something if you need it. They try to keep lines short and have an employee working the lines and telling you which line is available. They have self checkout too which is nice. The florist in this location is very nice and they offer custom bouquets. I like that there is a Starbucks at this location too! Parking is fine here but never enough carts. They are never returned to the right place! I would recommend this store, they have a rewards card that really adds up. You get 10 cents off gas for every $100 you spend. read more

I came here for a return and there was a medium overweight guy w glasses and a beard. how i saw the beard while we wear masks? because it was falling off and he didn't care about the risks of giving customers covid obviously by the way he wore his mask. at first i was waiting in line and everyone in the customer service desk was just staring at me and not helping. i then go up to them and say are you guys open after waiting for 5 minutes then they rudely said yes then came the medium overweight guy. he gave off really rude and racist energy. he kept asking me very very weird questions that didn't even relate to my return as if he didn't trust me or was suspicious of me. then he proceeds to say i have never seen you here that is why i'm asking you all these questions. BUT i always come here and there is great customer service. the manager that was rude is white and balding. way better selection than safeway! i moved to the denver area a couple months ago, and i'm pretty impressed with king sooper. it's like a costco normal people portions. plus it's right around the corner from home, which is great. i never have a problem with parking, they're never out of the stuff i need, the lines aren't long, and the produce is fresh. what more can you ask for? Plus there's a mechanical horse for kids to ride for 1 penny, and they have a jar of pennies next to it so your kid can have some fun at the store too :) read more

This is my neighborhood grocery store so I am there frequently. The entire store is run well and the employees are very pleasant. Pricing on most things is reasonable and the well staffed front end gets me out in a very respectable timeframe almost every visit. read more
