Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

I…read morewas quoted $415 for a 2 bedroom with one bed, no dressers, the other room was used as an office. I was quoted a minimum of $415 which included 3 hours and a $40 surcharge. First, the owner never sent me a written quote. They were fast; however, one of the movers whose name was Miles, scared me by yelling to the top of his lungs out of frustration because he couldn't get the bed together because he had all of the screws tightened and anyone who puts together anything would know bit to tighten the screws all the way until those screws are in the correct holes and then you screw them in. I went in the room to give him that tip but was scared the entire time he was in my house due to his behavior. Then when they got done, the paperwork showed that I was being charged an extra hour of travel time when my move was less than 15 minutes apart and I was told that they needed to stop at Walmart to get T-shirts. I made the payment in full along with an additional $60 because I just believe in tipping and always have, besides the other guy was excellent. Great customer service and he was friendly the entire time. Any way, I went through the contract after they had left and noticed that there was nothing in the contract that stated that I would owe a 1 hour transportation fee now was I ever told this verbally. So, a day after the move, I sent the owner a message and he proceeded to go back and forth with me. However the most disturbing message was the one below verbatim: "I'm so sorry you're so broke that you can't pay the movers for a move that they did well for you. Send me your address. I'll bring you cash next week. I would love to meet you." This company is way to green and they need to learn some customer service skills before doing business with the public. They saw I was a tad frustrated and got things addressed with the office without me having to ask. They packed one day, then moved the following. When they were unloading at our destination they knew they were behind schedule....and another truck dropped off another helper. All in all, they made what could have been very stressful, and more frustrating, less than it could have been. I hope I never have to use them again.... Because I never want to move again. Let's just say I have some attention deficit issues that cause me to set things in various places without any rhyme or reason because I'm always looking ahead. This was exacerbated by two epic moves that required trucks loaded full of junk, some of which had to be stored in my office. Originally, that was supposed to be temporary, but with the pandemic, it became years of boxes gathering dust in forgotten corners. So with a great deal of contrition, I began searching for a professional organizer who could make sense of my chaotic work environment. Having worked previously with another organizer, I found that the ability to lift and move things was a skillset that not all organizers could handle on their own. They were able to organize without actually doing much of the actual organization due to a lack of physical strength. So with those needs in mind, I came across Bonnie aka the Organization Genie. Bonnie is like a bundle of firecrackers. She is very friendly and enthusiastic about organizing. At the beginning, we did a walk through of the office, set our objectives for each day, and then off she went. Every couple hours or so, I'd check in with her. What once felt like an unsolvable puzzle was miraculously untangled and sorted out. Bonnie's magic spread across the office and warehouse over the next few days. The amount of our commercial and demo products as well as random equipment in the warehouse required a bit more labor, so she brought in a helper that day. Bonnie requested that we purchase some shelves, which I went out and bought. They put the shelves to good use, taking a lot of things off the ground and utilizing the elevation of the warehouse. Bonnie made time for me on short notice, which I really appreciated. We had a lot of co-workers and management visiting from our overseas headquarters, so the timing of the organization was crucial to creating a favorable impression on them. With Bonnie's help, their visit to our office was a good overall experience for everyone involved. Since then, I've also hired Bonnie to help out with my parent's house, where she was equally helpful. If you are organizationally-challenged like me, Bonnie can probably save you too.

Jeff and his crew (Roy, Matthew & Aidan) came up with a solution for me that was very workable. They came out 2 days before the move and completely loaded up a U-Haul. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I should have let them do it. They came in under what their original time / cost estimate was. We constantly had to reach out for updates and received conflicting information about where our belongings were and when they would be delivered. We also had difficulty obtaining our Bill of Lading, and after everything was finally delivered, one of our boxes was missing, containing my daughter's hair supplies, my husband's expensive cologne, and other personal items. Now the company is claiming through our BBB complaint that communication was consistent and all items were delivered, which does not reflect our experience. Hired to provide packing, moving, unpacking, estate sale and property clear out services, I experienced problems at every step. I was promised by the company co-owner they could find items in the house we needed and that everything would be unpacked for Mom's move into assisted living. The employee who manages the estate sale and clear out process would later assert they do not find specific items. For the packing/moving/unpacking phase of the work, our charges we paid more than $5,000 dollars including the tip I provided but later found out they did not unpack several boxes (just put them in the closet) and made the decision without checking with me not to move items I had asked to be moved. The estate sale and property clear out was challenging from the beginning. Despite asking multiple times, I did not get updates on the items I was promised they could find. My realtor was told to stay off the property for more than two weeks before they even did anything (I was not told about this by Busy Bees and it has delayed getting our house listed) and a few days before everything was supposed to be done, I was told they would not clear out property in the attic. Not unreasonable given the heat (even if it was their timeline and they should know AZ weather) but no alternatives were given, nor did they respond to the alternatives I proposed until several days later when the property needed to be turned over to my realtor to get it listed. At additional cost, I booked another company. During the property clear out of the main level, they left several large furniture items, damaged the gate, the door and left broken glass. Instead of removing everything from the property, they overfilled our garbage and recycling bins and just left it. The company response to complaints and concerns was to blame me, my realtor and two of the neighbors. If you care about your family's estate and don't want more stress, avoid Busy Bees!
