Unfortunately, I showed up 30 minutes before close, but all of the staff was accommodating for me staying a few minutes after close to finish my purchase. My only wish would be for it to have a treadmill for trying out the different shoes. I would wholeheartedly recommend going to Fleet Feet for your running needs!

Searching for new running shoes at 63 YO after not running for a bit, I visited this store because friends had always recommended it. Now I see why, worth the trip to Boulder! I hit the jackpot, as staffer Mike was excellent, with exceptional knowledge of his store, running, and shoes in general. Personnel greeted us warmly. They have a techy sensor pad that examines your feet and makes suggestions about sizing, type of shoes, and brands, then makes suggestions, taking so much of the subjectivity out of the equation. Mike knew his stuff and gave me a pair of options. Both were extremely comfortable and had a great feel. It was a tough call, but the New Balance option emerged victorious and was on sale! They also have a Happy Fit policy, backing up your purchase for 60 days, and will price match. I added some summer running gear and nabbed a calf sleeve Mike recommended with solid reasoning and measurements. In addition, they have incredible apparel and a running club that prepares people for distances and races. Boulder Running Company has joined Fleet Feet, the largest running specialty retailer in the nation. What a great pairing, helping people like me looking for running advice. This will end up being my Go-To running store.

I went to the The Pedestrian Shop at 1425 Pearl Street in Boulder today. I told the female clerk…read morethat the shoes I was buying there was $20 less at the Stegmann's Shoe Company. She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I asked her if I got it for her would she give me the discount and match the Stegmann price. She said she would. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. She was very rude to me and refused to honor what she had said about matching the price. This is an inappropriate way to treat a customer. Please respond to my complaint. Rita

I reached out to the shop to see if they could help and they told me they'd put in a warranty claim with Lems. About a month later I checked in and they said they were still waiting to hear back. I'm sitting here yet another month later and haven't heard anything. I've never bought a pair of $120 shoes that lasted 4 days and I was stuck with. Won't be purchasing from this shop or buying Lem(on)s again.

I have to say this was the most incredible shoe shopping experience for my 12 year old son , as well as myself. The young man helping us, Dio, was amazing. He not only connected with me, (50 year old lady) he also connected with my son. He pulled out no less than 15 pairs of shoes to make sure my son got what he wanted. He was honest with the durability, the size and truly seemed interested in both mine and my son's needs. The store has some really cool stuff and is now one of my favorite stores in Boulder. Thank you! Teri S. Happy Customer!

Okay so I randomly happened upon this store as I was browsing the shops in the area and I'm so glad…read moreI did, because I really love the shoes that I bought. This store specializes in "natural" running shoes with minimal soles so that your feet feel the ground more compared with the super cushioned stuff that you find with most mainstream shoe brands. This is literally a mom and pop shop, the owners are a husband/wife team of avid runners and they were super friendly and helpful. They analyzed my running form and also have an option to have custom orthotic cushioning added onto the sole based on your foot shape. Mind you, this wasn't a true custom orthotic made with a mold (which they also do), but this was essentially foam pieces custom cut and glued to the sole to give additional cushioning to key parts of my foot. I can't say I'm a hardcore runner, but I've tried many brands and this pair is one of my favorites. Besides the color which I love, they have elastic shoelaces that you just slip your feet in and tighten. You can also throw the shoes in the washing machine. Most importantly, they feel great to run in. Talking to the owners you can tell they're passionate about running, the owner literally wrote a book on natural running and they threw in a copy of the book with my shoes. I was visiting the area from out of town and did not plan to buy shoes but I love these shoes so much once I wear out my first pair I think I'll order another pair from them. Highly recommend that you drop by and try the shoes on if you're in the area. My package (including the shoes and custom cushioning) was about $180, so a little expensive if you're just a casual runner but about what you'd pay for running shoes from any of the mainstream brands. To be honest though, the shoes are so comfortable and easy to slip on that I sometimes find myself just using them for day to day usage, so I'm getting more utility from them than just running.

I've easily driven by their shop thousands of times and never payed attention enough to notice their shop... So glad that I found them and I can avoid the large corporate stores that have similar products but lack the expertise and outstanding customer support that Satellite has. Another major plus shopping there is that it's a locally owned business and the money I spend there will stay in our community. Just wish I found them sooner. I highly recommend them, two thumbs up!
