From my very first visit, when I had mixed up the time but they failed to tell me & let me sit there for an hour. Or most recently when I tried to make an appointment, and did not have my insurance card on hand so they refused to set a date. And then to the person who sits in the section with the eyeglasses -- last time I was in there, there were two dead cockroaches on the floor, she was on her phone & my very presence was an annoyance. While I appreciated the lack of pressure sales, this was ridiculous. She barely looked at me as I asked questions about frames. I liked this office for its location & Dr. Woldorff but I will have to move on to another place that seems be fully focused on the patient.

I was so pleased with my new glasses that I got a few more pairs. The eye doctor is great, the optician is great, the glasses selection is fantastic, the price is right, and the customer service is super fantastic. It was during quarantine, so I was really out of luck because I couldnt wear glasses. I called Rosenstein Vision, and Austin let me know that he would replace them. It was a huge relief to know that I wouldn't have to get a new pair and that I could be wearing glasses again. I feel like by allowing me to have a new pair (without charging me), they are very customer-centric. There was no blame on my part, and they simply said the frames shouldn't have broken so soon. During quarantine, the process for getting the new glasses was easy. I simply stayed in my car and Austin brought the new pair of frames and swapped my old lenses out of the broken frame and put in the new one. I am very grateful that they value me as a customer and allowed me to make this exchange in a safe manner.

Last year's exam led to an upgraded Rx, and the pair I received had multiple, weird, tiny parallel cracks/lines across both lenses. I was even able to take a cell phone picture of the lines on the night I picked them up. I called the office within 24 hours, and they said to bring the glasses back. When I did so, after work (I think, the next day), the receptionist I gave them to for evaluation was unable to see the lines, even when inspecting with ceiling lights and in a back room. Not her fault. She offered for me to bring them back another day for someone else to check them out, but I'd already waited my turn for several other patients to receive services, and I was out of patience. So I decided to just deal with it. At this year's exam, I mentioned the lines, and the eyewear specialist said I could bring the affected pair since they were still under warranty. I also received my normal Rx upgrade (covered by insurance) for my other pair. Both came back perfect. I'm so glad they helped me with the issue, even a year later. The lines in the glasses were not hard to deal with during the year wait, but it was incredibly validating to have them recognize the problem and attend to it so quickly.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly,…read morehelpful, and efficient, and up until the end I couldn't have recommended the experience more. Unfortunately, that changed when I met with the optician. I'm not sure if I somehow offended her, but the interaction was incredibly uncomfortable. There was very little communication, and I wasn't walked through the process at all. After quickly picking a pair, I sat there mostly in silence while she handled whatever needed to be done on her end. Ultimately, I decided to leave without purchasing glasses because I wasn't comfortable committing to a pair when I didn't really understand what I was choosing or what was going on. After going elsewhere, I realized I had made the correct decision to leave--the optician there was much more helpful and attentive. What made the experience even more surprising was hearing the other optician in the room helping another customer. She sounded genuinely kind, engaged, and helpful--the complete opposite of my experience. The difference was night and day. At one point, I genuinely felt like I was being punk'd. I'd recommend MyEyeDr for the exam and prescription based on my experience, but I'll be purchasing my eyewear elsewhere.

I had been going to this practice for several years when they purchased Adler Optometry in Chapel…read moreHill. I have always had a good experience with the optometrists but have had issues with the opticians the past two years. Last year, my prescription was changed such that all the negative powers were entered as positive and vice versa. I had only discovered the problem after picking up the glasses late one Saturday afternoon and had to have the lenses remade once they figured out what the error was. This year, I went in and found out that they no longer supply Essilor lenses and coatings which are my preference. This is because I used to work for the company that makes the equipment that Essilor uses to put coatings on their lenses so I am well aware of the quality of Essilor's lenses and coatings. I was a bit hesitant but decided to get glasses anyway since I was there. They came in about 10 days later but I received a message that they didn't pass a quality check and they were being sent back to be remade. I got the final pair about 2 weeks later. I had only worn them 3 or 4 times when I noticed a small smudge in the corner about 2 weeks after that. I tried removing it with the cloth provided, then with the cloth and water, and finally with lens cleaning spray, always with the lens cloth. Since it wasn't coming off, I took it in thinking they could get it off but they said it was a scratch. To be fair, I did not have the scratch warranty as I've had glasses for 45 years and never had an issue and having worked in the business am aware how to care for them. To me, it seemed like a defect. The optician's exact words were, "Well, you didn't purchase the warranty so there's nothing we can do. Have a good day." And then she walked away. Well, I'm walking away from this business.
