The website should state this fact. If I pay a company, in this case godfathers pizza, they are responsible for the delivery unless otherwise stated in an obvious way. We went round and round and the only way for me to get my pizza, was to drive there myself which defeated the whole point of ordering a pizza to be delivered. The young lady on the phone grunted uhhuh instead of yes or no. I finally had to tell her to use actual words as her grunts were not coming across clearly. What a disaster. I drove over and at this point my pizza was sitting for 45 minutes. If you third party out delivery, and no one shows up to pick it up, why would you not be calling someone, anyone or the customer or anything. When I arrived, three people standing around doing absolutely nothing, I told them I was here to pick up my pizza and I want to talk to a manager. James came out and asked how he could help? I would have thought he would have already known what was going on by this point. He was calm and friendly. I told him I would like to have the delivery fees and tip removed from my check. If you are not going to actually deliver pizza, remove it from your website or have customers order through door dash or grub hub or some other delivery website.
