Best tips around, never have we ever gotten a bad meal after all the years we have been coming.read more

Made a pit stop on Saturday night at Lazy Dog Sports Bar, which is located in Wyoma Square, Lynn…read more We have never been but have heard a lot of good things about steak tips and chicken.....two of our favorites. Upon entry, we saw a busy bar scene....football games on the tv's and lots of people chatting and having a good time. The dining room, which is located just off the bar area, was kind of small, but was perfect size for the crowd! We were seated rather quickly and given menu's and drinks! We quickly found out Lazy Dog was a family-locals bar, which is a good thing! The vibe was everyone kind of knowing each other and enjoying the food, company and drink. We ordered and the food came rather quickly. We had the caesar salad with grilled veggies and the chicken breast dinner with fries. Both were brought out with hefty amounts on the plates. All the food was great tasting. I had a small dinner salad, which was fresh and perfect size. The chicken I had was tasty, cooked perfectly and plenty. The caesar salad was fresh, as well and we raved about the grilled veggies that came along with it. I wish I ordered the baked beans....but I didn't! I plan to when I return. There is nothing like baked beans and dinner! We wish we could have hung around for the music, but they did not set up in time for us to watch them play. Again, it seemed like a lot of patrons were waiting for the music because they have heard them before....which is great for local, neighborhood places. FYI, entry is in the back. Also, parking is easiest around the back.

First time here and I'm glad I came into the north shore of Boston. Usually I stick to New…read moreHampshire but I had family in town and of course they all wanna see Boston so I looked up a spot around the area we were in and The Blue Ox should up. Once inside we were seated very quickly... We started with some Crispy Calamari that had peppers and a nice chipotle aioli sauce that went well together. Then we had the Mussels which were very good, it had lots of garlic which we love and it has white wine with heirloom tomatoes. Both appetizers were amazing. Now for my dish I went with the Sin Burger due to seeing a bunch awards for this burger so I had to try. So the burger I ordered was made medium with bacon, truffle aioli and Swiss cheese. It was so good and this dish was the highlight of my night. It was made to perfection and everything went well together in the burger. I'll definitely be back just to eat the burger again. So if you're around Lynn then be sure to give this spot a try. You won't be disappointed!

Great vibes as soon as we walked in! Our server, Guy, was a phenomenal server. His recommendations…read morewere right on point. The bartenders really know how to make a drink. We tried the "demon seed" the blood orange old fashioned, the "bacon and legs" the "dirty and hot" and the limoncello sipper for dessert. Food wise, we did tuna tartar that I didn't think was spicy but my friend did. It had a nice whipped cream cheese as a base with some homemade chips. Normally I don't like chips but these were good. We also tried the wings. Piping hot, perfect crispness and the house blue cheese I could have eaten with a spoon. We came after a beach day so not our best dressed but we were treated like royalty either way. Definitely a place to return!

Wing Squad - Wings clearly weren't fried fresh, but were reheated in an oven,...where they burned

My buddies and I normally meet up for wings after work on Tuesdays. Since it's been a few months…read moresince we've been allowed to see each other in person, and since it's looking like it'll still be some time until we can meet up again safely - we decided to do wing-night remotely. I could have ordered from another more established wing place, but I decided that for the price, maybe I'd risk getting wings from a smaller joint - support a local business and all that right? The wings were delivered in an inedible state. They had been previously fried and were clearly reheated in an oven...or perhaps the surface of the sun. There's really no way to tell since beneath the buffalo sauce, the wings were burnt to literal ash (picture attached). Of the 18 wings that I ordered, I found maybe 2 or 3 that were actually fit for human consumption. If you're looking for comfort food during this trying time, look elsewhere.

If your time is brief, bottom line up front DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE…read more The concept behind this restaurant is virtual dining, which really means that one kitchen fills the order for multiple restaurants (and there's no real way to resolve issues except through your delivery service). Sounds good, but the execution is lacking. We were given an incorrect order (ordered from Wing Squad and got an order from Flavortown Kitchen, another restaurant that shares this kitchen), but decided to give the food a shot. It was still chicken, after all. The chicken sandwich was awful and overdone, the fries seemed like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for ages, and the jalapeno poppers were covered in some sort of mysterious sauce we were unwilling to even taste. I ended up dropping the whole bag in the trash unceremoniously. If that's indicative of the food quality of that kitchen, I think it's safe to say you're best to steer clear. Note to business owner or manager: going delivery-only doesn't relieve your team of the responsibility to make sure the right stuff is getting picked up. Also, please start cooking edible food.
