I love egg sandos so much! Imagine my delight when I saw this new restaurant on Doordash and they had a buy one get one free deal! The menu looks very similar to EggTuck's. I ordered the bacon sando with tater tots on the side. The packaging and presentation is clean. The sandwich is good. The eggs were cooked perfect and the bread is thick! I saw they have a spicy bulgogi on the menu so I hope to try that next.

Overrated trend. The eggs tasted off to us and the sandwich is a TON of bread, a tiny bit of egg but the avocado was good.

I don't know why anybody that would give this a bad review after what I just had. The eggs were moist and fluffy. The bread was perfectly griddled and the price was more than fair. If this place was in Las Vegas, San Francisco, or New York you would be looking at the basic egg sandwich costing twice as much, and there would be a line around the corner. We are lucky to have something as different and delicious here in Evanston.

Pretty good egg sandwhich and reasonable prices. Service was excellent. Just tried the basic egg sandwhich - really creamy and there is just the hint of spice in their sauce. Toasted / buttered bread quite good as well. Will come back next time in town to visit kiddo in college

If you've ever been to HMart in Niles they have a food stand that specializes in fluffy egg sandwiches. Well now we have one in downtown Evanston sand just two blocks from me so I was thrilled to check it out. If you like thick Texas toast then this is definitely for you! Their menu is pretty simple with three categories to choose from...sandwich, burrito or bowl. I went with a simple Ham Egg Sandwich and it was actually just the breakfast protein fix I was looking for. First of all the Texas toast was grilled just right. Buttery and browned well. And the eggs...I haven't had eggs that fluffy in a long time. Perfect breakfast fix! And I was also impressed by the quick service! Fast and efficient!! The only thing I wish that they had was a sauce bar. The egg Sando food stall in Hmart has bottles of sauces that you can choose from to customize each bite lol. But I can't knock off a star for just that lol. So glad to have gone today. Perfect for a breakfast in the go!!

Very tasty and unique. I ordered the Bulgogi bowl with the sauces on the side. Amazing! Great service too. It was ready in 5 minutes.

Mid Kitchen has a pretty big variety. Get something meaty or something plant based. The prices are pretty high but that's to be expected for the location and quality. Came at lunch. It's actually a pretty small place so it's always packed. There's only a few tables. At least that means people like it. Usually there's a long wait. A while later and we finally got one. It's about $15 for a sandwich, which is a lot but it's great stuff. I got the Vegan Club. This has avocado, along with plant based versions of bacon, chicken, and mayonnaise, along with lettuce and tomatoes. She got the Vegan BLT. This is almost the same thing but simpler. Got to say it has limited hours and space, which are the bad things about it along with it being expensive. It's got a lot for breakfast and lunch. They're closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

This time Uber wouldn't let me choose the tip amount, and I didn't realize they had charged nearly $20 for tip until it was too late to cancel this transaction. An outrageous rip-off -- and it's not like restaurants don't know Uber is shady and shoddy. I will never patronize this restaurant again. Is it really worth it to lose customers permanently just to save a few pennies on deliveries?

From the very beginning, we knew FFT was the right vendor for us because they took our favorite foods and crafted a completely customized menu perfectly tailored to what we enjoyed and what we envisioned for the event. From there, they then worked with us to refine the menu as we kept coming up with crazy ideas. We literally emailed Anna about how we had just tasted a delicious Oreo brownie and she had it added to our desserts right away. We also wanted a very custom bar menu, and they worked with us to get us all the different brands we were looking for, going so far as to drive to Indiana to source some of them. The other aspect of their menu that made such an impact was all the interactive food stations. Everything is so creatively presented and designed. At our tasting, Anna had literally taken elements of our décor and paper goods and other motifs and woven them throughout the presentations from custom serving trays to glass designs. Everything felt intentional and thought out. Guests were constantly praising this attention to detail. Every station had some element of action to it as well, making everything feel like a unique experience. In all of this, the food was all delicious. We wish we can eat and experience it all over again. We still dream of Chef Arlene's Guava and Cheese Empanadas. Throughout the process, Anna was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. One thing we wanted to highlight was that we wanted to be very careful with allergens. Despite the high number of dishes, Anna did a fantastic job working to highlight all the possible allergens in every item, taking the request very seriously. We also wanted to praise the service for the actual day-of catering. They had their full team there, and the professional service was fantastic from top to bottom. Our guests praised the food endlessly, and people who were planning their wedding wanted to know all the background details into our catering choice. That is just more proof that Food for Thought was the perfect caterer, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Our vision was really brought to life and we got SO many compliments on the food. The apps, the salad, the meals, late night snacks and dessert. I feel like that never happens at weddings! I went in with really high expectations based on the personal recommendation plus high reviews from AI. To start, I had a latte and it was good. Someone else had fresh grapefruit juice, which they loved. Someone else had an iced mocha, which fell flat. The pancakes were quite good. The waffle dish we had with blueberries and all were good. It was probably too sweet with all the things. I think I would have enjoyed a normal/plain belgian more. Then we had a veggie, squash, and tofu special, which was good. I think the hash brown sides were really good and flavorful. I liked having that half squash on the plate, which was then stuffed with the other items. Then someone else had the veggie tacos, which were also nice with avocado, goat cheese, and all. So all good fun and a nice brunch had by all. Our walk-in wait was hardly 5 mins around 12pm on a Sunday, which was much appreciated. The service was also decent - they were pretty busy, but kept things moving along. Next time I might try to out the other/closer location - this was more like - we want to visit the OG. But overall, good brunch and good times.
