It's strange that Yelp doesn't show this place when you put "highest rated" into the search. I had to zoom in with the mobile app for it to pop up. Either way, it's not really fair to the business here because they deserve better. The boba is perfectly made and the fruit slushies actually taste like real fruit, so they don't use powder like some other places. While everyone has different taste preferences when it comes to sugar, you can always ask them to make it less sweet, which is also a plus. The seating area and very clean, which one can appreciate. It is moderately lit for studying if needed, and the A/C is on but not blasting so you don't freeze to death. There is a television, there are board games, and there is even a sign letting you know when someone is new and being trained. The biggest surprise to me is that someone came around after you started consuming your drink to ask you how it is. Normally only found in restaurants, it seems like everyone here wants to make your drink right. I'm glad I made the trip to try this place, and Yelp needs to let this place show up in the mobile app search... Before I forget: there is free wifi, ample parking (Sunday - 6pm), and they accept credit cards. read more

Stopped here when I was visiting Houston because I had a craving for boba! While parking is limited and there's 1 designated spot, with a sign, for Tapioca Master customers only, there's additional parking behind the print shop. While I was looking at the menu, the cashier (I believe his name was Devin) just stared at me so I felt a bit rushed to place my order even though there was nobody waiting to order. We asked him what the difference between the green cream tea and the black cream tea was and his response was very blah. He responded that "um I don't know...I guess *haha* one is less nasty than the other" nasty? Hello...if you're trying to describe how something tastes to a customer, you don't say it's nasty! Silly. Anyway, he was nice enough to give me a sample of egg pudding because he didn't know how to describe it. I ended up ordering my go to drink of thai tea with regular boba, and added egg pudding. Very tasty! Creamy, not too much of a strong tea taste and the boba was nice and fresh. Egg pudding added a nice touch to the drink. The person I was with ordered the green cream tea and she said it was tasty so that's a plus! Interior is very nice and relaxing, I love the glass display with tea pots and other decorative pieces inside. The chairs are very comfortable and overall the vibe is really relaxing and a nice place to catch up with someone. They don't serve popcorn chicken or any of that but they do sell small bags of chips and muffins. A nice lady came out from behind the counter to talk to some regular customers and ask how they've been, how they liked their drinks, etc which I liked, I love when owners have a relationship with their customers. Very disappointed with the drink and poor customer service. I really try my best to avoid posting a bad review, especially for small businesses. I've met the owners before and they are earnest hard working people. And I'm conflicted about leaving this type of review, but the amount of disrespect my family received at this place is almost unforgivable. Before I go further I want people to understand that one or two bad workers is not indicative of the type of business that is run by the owners. However, it is because of those one or two workers, I feel the need to speak out and be heard. We ordered the red bean and coconut smoothie because we read good reviews. However, all we could taste was the red bean. We barely took 3 sips and we were disgusted. It was as if someone just mashed up red beans, added crushed ice, (neglected to add any coconut or sweetener) and served it to us. A simple mess up, no worries as it can be easily fixed. We asked if we could add more sweetener, and they said there was nothing they could do. And that alone was upsetting. Any other good boba place would have replaced it, which has been the experience in the past when an order was messed up. Those simple mess ups are forgivable. We all make mistakes. However when we asked if we could have a new one made, they told us we had to buy another drink. This is super upsetting considering we actually tipped- which is something most people do not do at a boba tea shop. It was very disrespectful and a total disregard for customer service. We were so offended and hurt. And even though the cashier could see on our faces how upset we were with his response, he turned away from us and went on with his business. And this is completely different from the kind of service I usually receive at this place. There was no apology, no earnest attempt to remedy the situation, no acknowledgement of how upset we looked. I really liked this place, and it disheartens me that I feel like I can never return. read more

I have recently started drinking Bubble drinks and this is by far the best spot so far. Since I'm new to it it was very helpful that they had samples available. The cashier was very sweet and made suggestions. I ended up getting the taro smoothie with the small tapioca and it was delicious. I got mine to go since it was about 45 minutes to closing but the atmosphere is very welcoming. I absolutely love the fact that she was patient with me even though it was close to closing. I've been to this place at least every month, if not every week or two since it opened. It's that good! I love their wide selection of tea and smoothies. My go-tos are the black tea and jasmine tea while my family tends to order the avocado alot. Never a bad experience at this place. The owner/manager is always welcoming. I go there so much, she already knows my name, lol. She can recommend some drinks, tapioca, and jelly combination too if you're not sure which boba to try. There's also an option to do half sugar if you find the drinks too sweet! It's located in a small shopping strip but there's always parking available (at least the times that I've been there). So glad to have a Tapioca house near the Willowbrook/Cypress area. Good location and the owners make sure you're enjoying yourself. I liked the "free sample" bowl. Offering some of the not so popular flavors like Lychee or Avocado would be nice though. I know what Mango and Strawberry Banana smoothies taste like. Still a nice touch to offer that. Prices are fair, about 4$ per drink and 50 cents extra for tapioca. Good variety. No Durian however, not that I'm a fan of it myself but just wanted to give you guys the heads up. Nice and comfortable coffeehouse-like set up inside, good place to chill with the family or friends. Their frequent customer system is pretty good. They simply ask for your number and next time you come in you give it to them and they'll keep track of how much you've spent with them. Once you've spent 40$ you get 4$ toward your next visit. I liked giving them my number better instead of keeping a punch card that will get lost over time in the washer with the pants I was wearing that day. No spam texts or calls, I made sure to ask. The owner is the friendliest and sweetest person I've ever come across, I've worked at restaurants and lemme tell you, being so positive and sweet despite coming across rude, demanding customers is very difficult (at least for me lol) I watched her handle a few rude people with grace and kindness. Many props to her, she is an angel, I would've went off on them personally haha. Their matcha boba tea is the best I've ever had, it is even a dairy-free! Sometimes they'll make a small mistake to the order (changing it from a slushie to a smoothie) but honestly I'm always happy when it happens because it is STILL just as good! My friend and I come once a week usually, and we absolutely love it here. Not only are the drinks out of this world, but the staff are amazing and just as sweet as the drinks. They also have some games on a shelf you can play with your friends, so it only adds to the overall nice and cozy ambiance. Very cool to see this place open - they took some time getting ready! The staff is still learning but they're friendly. The owners are really nice! Both times I've been, they've asked how the drinks were and if they were alright - great customer care! There are small samples of the smoothies on the counter which is also nice. You have OPTIONS for your sugar, which is great in this day and age! :) There's also a customer reward program you can sign up for with a phone number - no more keytags! As far as drinks go, I'm a big fan of the hazelnut green cream tea and the honeydew smoothie. I'm more a jelly fan over the tapioca pearls, so I'd say to get the lychee jelly! read more
