Chicken and Broccoli Shrimp Egg Roll
    Khadija G.

I eat here a lot. This is my favorite takeout Chinese Spot. The inside is spacious. The family that works here is always respectful. They give you free large lemonade or free egg rolls if your meal is over $35 I think. They give me a Chinese new year calendar at the beginning of the new year wherever I ask for one. I love their egg drop soup. They got a forever customer out of me

Hunan chicken and hot and sour soup

Legit pretty standard Chinese takeout fare. I'll advise against ordering fried rice with your combo, it's just bean sprout and onion, no greens or meat. Just get white rice. I've had the shrimp with lobster sauce, hunan chicken, hot and sour soup, and their chicken wings. - shrimp in lobster sauce was pretty darn good! Ordered this with white rice and it soaked up all that delicious soupy goodness. I liked that they added imitation crab meat to the shrimp. That was nice spin on it. - hunan chicken combo with fried rice was awesome! Lots of veggies and generous with the sauce, it made up for the plain fried rice. - hot and sour soup was too concentrated for me. It was almost like drinking soy sauce. Don't think I'll be ordering that again. - the wings are good and cheap. However the wings are small. It'll take more than you think to be full or it'll make a nice appetizer which they offer. I think the best bang for your buck is their 5 wings with chicken and broccoli, plus fried rice for $7.95! There's a few variations of wings and something with fried rice so check it out before you order. The lady here is nice, it gets busy so some days she skips the pleasantries but you can tell she's service oriented. I'll be back for sure.

Good clean American Chinese food. Everything I've had has been good for what it is, not drenched in soy sauce or oil, and pretty tasty. They even threw in a free lemonade with the order. Highly recommended.

Bourbon Chicken. Sweet sauce pretty good. i ate the broccoli first

Food is pretty good for your local eats. i have been eating here for years with no complaints. Family owned business of nice folks. bourbon chicken is good and steamed dumplings. They are pretty fast in the kitchen. place is clean you can see the kitchen.

Beef, what beef; more like pellets?!?

Ordered Beef LoMein; huge mistake! Paid $6 for a tiny container....got home and started eating with my chop stix. After about 3 bites taste just like any other chinese LoMein, nothing exciting or different), I was like, ok where is the darn beef, so I emptied it into a large container. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING..there were only a few TINY "nuggets" of beef! No real pieces of beef, or slivers of beef, just tiny nuggets like what comes on cheap frozen pizza! I called and told the lady and she just kept repeating it was a small I ordered, WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH BEEF MISSING FROM BEEF LOMEIN???? If I wanted just noodles, I would've ordered just noodles. NOT WORTH THE PRICE and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH MY TIME. WILL NEVER BE BACK! Should have gone to Chik-fil-A like I had planned!

Shrimp fried rice...should be rice and onions

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

Boy oh boy! The…read morefirst and definitely not last. This food was so great. Every time I visit ATL this will be added to my come backs. The basil chicken was so good. But the green beans with pork were my favorite. The pork medallions were so tender. The salt and pepper shrimp was lacking of flavor. The corn chicken soup was great, so was the hot and sour. But their wonton was a hit and I crave more. The restaurant is nicely preserved in time I feel. There are so many celebrities with photos who have come and gone from this world. Staffing was a little slow, but that's ok because there's no rush. They were all nice and friendly.

When we sat at the bar, the bartender told us he would not serve food. He seemed unhappy, too busy, and had an overworked attitude, then asked us to order from a table and wait for seating, even though other customers were already ordering and eating at the bar. We waited over an hour for a table, then another 40 minutes for our food. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. When we asked the waitress why it was so busy that our food came out cold, she said it is usually like this during conventions. After waiting that long, we expected the food to be amazing, especially with so many celebrity photos on the wall. Instead, it felt like an overpriced, dressed-up Panda Express. Finding a big lump of flour in my corn soup was unacceptable. Definitely not the quality you would expect unless it was fast food or Panda Express. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend, unless you enjoy overpriced, underwhelming food surrounded by celebrity photos. Perhaps there are limited Chinese food options nearby, which may explain the popularity.

I've been wanting to try it but it's hard to find at local restaurants. The chef visited us during our meal, and we sung her praises. The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
