Last week I showed up mid week with my family roughly only three tables in the place that were taken...The waitress was horrible. Took ten minutes to get our drinks. Brought out an appetizer fifteen minutes later.. There was a table of six next to us they received their food sporadically.Three of them were totally done with their meal before the other people got their food.. After waiting over forty minutes I paid for the appetizer at the table and left never to return. It was the tall waitress. She should find a new profession...

Once again another amazing visit to this tucked away gem. If…read moreyou haven't come by now idk what you are waiting for. The staff's extremely friendly and helpful, and the best part of this visit, being seated in "the kitchen "..., trust me. Request seating there. The misses loved that rainbow sandwich, piled high once again and she said it was the same as the last time, we love consistency. The Reuben was thick and the bread was grilled to perfection. Kids chicken tenders... super crispy and the chicken was moist. My little yelper loved them. Now, this is one of the times where I'm conflicted. Chili is never the same, but when I get chili I envision thick, hearty and packed with flavor. This one was kinda watery, and a little on the bland side. I appreciate the meat chunk in it, but it's one of the rare times I was in the "meh" category. But overall, we really enjoyed our visit.

I will have to order one next time! Our super nice server came right away to take our order & she kept the glasses full. We enjoyed the decor the whole restaurant feels comfortable & welcoming. We had the street corn dip app & poutine fries to start. It was hard to stop eating that corn dip! We ordered a Cuban sandwich, it was giant!. A cheese burger, very good size and fresh toppings. 2 different flatbreads, chicken & bacon and a veggie goat cheese. I had the veggie goat cheese and it was delicious, the bread was so crispy. And last but not least the very HOT Nashville crispy chicken sandwich. The fries that came with the sandwiches were so good I kept swiping a couple.

I ordered the Goat Cheese and Cranberry Salad. It was a HUGE portion with a homemade dressing. I took half of it home and enjoyed it the next day because th dressing was on the side. It was served with fried goat cheese balls. Hubby ordered the French Onion Soup that he says was amazing. He also ordered the Cranberry Turkey Wrap that he thoroughly enjoyed but the serving was also HUGE so he only ate half. We were pleased with our meal.

When our waitress came she said we can only order from the lunch menu, we said we were told we could order out of both and she said you can't order off the dinner menu. I looked at the dinner menu and it said fish served all day everyday, I brought that to her attention and she said yeah you can get fish. So that was a big negative! Some of the dishes were better than others. I ordered the chicken souvlaki wrap, it was ok but really missing the Greek seasoning. The restaurant is on the smaller side kinda dark inside, could use a refresh.

Mediocre food with a server who seemed to bully the bus boy…read more The fish came out soaked in grease and the fries were soggy. The coleslaw and Mac salad were the dishes saving grace. I do like the option of an everyday fish fry, but I was disappointed. The batter was not seasoned and only one side was crispy bec it steamed and became soggy being plated on top of the fries which also made the fries soft and soggy. The entire time we were eating all we heard was the server calling for the bus boy and just giving him $#*+ ...I wanted to ask her to be quiet but was scared she would take it out on the young man. Another party, dining a table over, described Tara as pushy and rude. We couldn't agree more...

The meatloaf was more or less tasteless and the frozen waterlogged vegetables were absolutely tasteless. The mashed potatoes were OK but they were the best thing on the plate. I very rarely use salt on my food but tried to give the meatloaf some taste to no avail. The service was prompt but the waitress did not come back to see how the food was until I was done. Not a big deal but I was supposed to get a roll which never arrived. Another one of us ordered the BBQ rib platter, which was very good. The blackened catfish dinner was also a big hit. The food here is unique, well prepared, fairly priced, and delicious. The steak was medium and juicy. However, I presume based on my experience if you don't order it blackened. You'll need to add your own seasonings. Because there was absolutely no none not even salt or pepper. The Broccoli was almost mushy. Again, this isn't my first experience with them in fact I go there all the time just wanted to try something new. If I order the steak next time it'll be blackened with broccoli al dente.
