I have been here twice. The first time was better than the last. My last visit I was seated with my guest next to a service area and I always reject this place but I stayed. MY NEW FAVORITE CHINESE BUFFET PLACE IN TEXAS!!!!! Great atmosphere, wide variety of food, no funky odors, and the waitstaff don't hover over you like some buffet-style places do. Walked into the the place and its huge, well lit, food is well labeled, its clean, employees are very warm and friendly. The food is so so, the orange chicken is too bready and is made of cartilage meat so I was chewing more than eating. There's plenty of options and the menu is vast. They have "jalapeno chicken" which was ok. The selection is huge but the food is so so and for dinner I paid $14 bucks including a soda and tip so it's not THAT cheap. If you are more hungry than looking for great taste, this is the place to go. They also have french fries and stuffed cheese jalapenos in case you want to switch it up. read more

The food is not bad for the price but the proprietors seem just fine with the parents who let their children run wild. I've complained to the hostess about the kids swinging themselves off of my chair as they race around playing tag. I've complained about kids running into me at full speed as they run back to their tables. None of it has done anything to change the situation. I went with my family to New New, the food was great, the waitresses were very friendly, and the price is even better! I love the ginger/scallion cod fish and the pot stickers. Ehh. It was ok at best. Most food tasted a bit old. There were no snow crabs when we went. (sunday @4:30pm) Yeah yeah, i know, i should have known better since it's a buffet. It costed $27 for two including tips but i didnt feel like it was worth the money for the quality or the taste of the food. You get much better fresh and delicious chinese from places like panda express for the same or less money. Server was nice and attentive. As always I hate gourmet American Chinese food. A 5 star for the wide spread of items. I was charged $7 for may be 70-80 items on the buffet list. Most if the savory dishes have a sweet syrup flavor. They make sure that the buffet is well stocked. The selection is good and the place is clean. I wish they had more of a dessert selection. This weekend, business has taken me to Addison, TX where I found a cheap Chinese buffet not too far from my hotel. Intro: New New Buffet is an average sized Chinese buffet with a very clear goal... to provide good food at reasonable prices (as the big golden sign at the entrance says). Food: When I walked in, I was already amazed at the food selection available for a Chinese buffet (it was the dinner buffet)... at least 25 different food options plus salad, soup, and dessert. Overall, the food was good but I will say it wasn't amazing. A one of the entrees I had (Jalapeno Beef) had a weird plastic taste and the oysters looked very unappetizing. The rest of the food was fine. The Chicken on a Stick was moist, Crab Rangoon stuffed perfectly, and everything was at a great temperature. Service: The service was awesome from start to finish. The wait staff was very pleasant and the host was very helpful when I called to ask about the buffet. Cleanliness: Overall, the restaurant was very clean and organized outside of the ice cream topping section which was a mess. The bathroom could have been a little neater but were acceptable. Atmosphere: The restaurant was nice and roomy so you were never afraid you were going to bump into someone eating during repeat trips to the buffet. During my visit, they had a separate room where a party was been held. However, it sounded as if they we having a rather loud karaoke night and had the doors propped open for it. Luckily for me, it was near the end of my meal. Price: $10.35 plus tax (at the time of this review) for dine-in dinner was an amazing and very affordable price. I have seen similar buffets go for much higher. Overall: I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. If I make it back to Addison, perhaps I'll try their flat rate to-go offer. Jus left this place never to come back. We found a HAIR on our food and immediately left. The "manager" in charge did not want to help us and charged us for our food. We had just started eating and left with full plates on the table. She refused to provide the owner's name to lodge a complaint, just telling us he only speaks Chinese and does not take complaints. My husband and I go every week. Sometimes, twice a week. They have a good selection of food and in my book, they prepare the food just right, not too salty or sweet like most American Chinese restaurants I'm used to. Also, I could tell the chef or the owner really care about each dish they prepare because it tastes consistent every time we go. For example, usually the CA rolls at Chinese buffets are inedible, have too much rice, and taste old, but their rolls actually look and taste good! I usually don't eat their cold dishes or dessert, but personally, the hot dishes are pretty good for the price and the menu is pretty well balanced. If the interior was a little more updated and clean, I would consider inviting people for special events, but for the price, it's a good deal! read more

Their sweet tea tastes like super sweet nestea and when I complained about it being too sweet and asked for a water after taking two sips of tea I was charged for tea. Well, I'm not sure what all the buzz is about this place.... After being turned away from Clay Pit, son and I hit this place, as I had remembered the name from Yelpers. For a sunday afternoon, this place was packed. It looked like the folks eating here have this ritual of going there on Sundays. They were piling up their plates with all the better stuff leaving the regular stuff for us low life first timers! We were promptly seated, and after taking our drink orders, we hit the buffet tables. The choices for someone who doesn't eat beef or pork were quite limited, though. Broccoli was only available with beef, The regular jalapeno chicken, Sesame chicken, Orange chicken were there, but nothing that contained any vegetable. The deep fried Lemon chicken with lemon sauce by its side, chicken on the stick, Fried chicken wings, all were dry. There was crawfish, pepper shrimp and mixed seafood that were just meh. The steamed fish, however, hit the spot. Nicely seasoned and on the healthy side. The lomein had this wierd color and I was hesitant to try. It was oranged with food color! The fried rice was undercooked. The hot and sour soup was just alright; diluted a bit. They had a good variety of salads though. Saw Kimchi, Japanese pickled ginger etc on the table along with crab legs and peel and eat shrimp. The dessert was also extensive, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm a Chinese American, so I'm usually pretty critical and picky when it comes to Chinese food. I've had my share of Chinese buffet throughout the years. I've probably tried all of the big buffets in DFW. What brings me back to NEW NEW, driving 40 minutes from Arlington, is the flavor, huge selection, and friendly service. And if you're lucky enough, you might get to meet New New herself. Unlike some restaurants where every dish use the same sauce and tastes the same, NEW NEW's entrees, each having a unique flavor, maintains a traditional Chinese taste while appealing to the American audience. One of my favorite is the Orange Beef. Very few restaurants offer this entree as part of the buffet. In all, if you're craving Chinese, don't hesitate to give NEW NEW a try. read more
