Well, as a former employee myself, I never expected to become a patient, especially not an ICU Heart patient. It has been so long since I retired that nobody there knew me except for one nurse. I was very grateful for the level of professionalism I was accorded and the timeliness of everyone involved. Having a Triple Bypass is no picnic. However, the staff continued to assure me all along the way. All accommodations were made for my needs and that of the Mrs. Staff were exceedingly polite and very patient with us as we navigated this 'other side of the coin'. Everyone from Registration all the way to the CNA that wheelchaired me to the exit door were very nice. It is amazing how differently people come across when your life is in their hands. I am exceedingly grateful and appreciative of all the staff and care I received while I was there. Now I am home and completing recovery from my successful surgery. I feel great and look forward gratefully to the next few decades this surgery has provided me.

I take responsibility for the fact that we weren't 15 minutes early as they requested. My mom doesn't get around well (the reason for her appt.) and we had trouble finding the office. The person handling my mom's intake was rude, rushed, and the look on her 'masked' face was clearly disgust. Not a nice welcome for our first visit. I was asked to wait in the lobby because I only had a faceshield. (If my oxygen flow is obstructed, I pass out.) My mom asked for me to be with her because she can't remember much and is hard of hearing. They refused even when I asked if a temperature check would allow me to stay. People have lost their minds and we're all suffering from their ignorance. I can't imagine my mom feels safe in their care. I'm sad for her because she's waited so long for help.

Dr Lin is beyond great his bedside manner is always on point. He's well educated and you will be too after your visits. Dr Arnadorf did my lumbar injections and was super. He made me laugh while getting prepped and even when I was on table he made sure I was can kept my anxiety to a minimum it was a great feeling knowing I could trust these two drs on any giving day for any issue. They never made me feel like I was attention seeking if I said I hurt Dr. Lin was great about doing tests till he found why I just then addressed it appropriately. If you want a doctor you can trust Rehabilitation medicine of Eugene is the place you wanna be. Also need to say they have the beat appointment setting ladies in the back. So friendly and pleasant. Again these are the doctors I want here in Florida.

I can tell you the quality of care you get from everyone you see is genuine, caring, and nothing short of amazing. They have helped get me healed through many car accident injuries, and also through some pain when I had fallen, and broke my tailbone a few years back. Right now I am receiving care from totaling my car into a deer back in June. I am still sore, and the therapists, and massages have really helped get me through. They also offer Pilates, and I think other therapies. I was supposed to do Pilates to help heal my injuries, but I ended up with Covid the end of August, and my schedule didn't mesh with who ever was supposed to do it. So bummer on that. Although years ago I have done some Pilate work through here, and I found it very helpful. They have great equipment for PT. The staff is very friendly, and they do their best to work with your schedule to get you in right away. The PT, and massage is also usually the same day. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for PT. You will get quality care. I have been to other places, and don't feel like I got what I needed from them.

Upon intake recently, the facility kept all of the belongings up front to inventory (I was told by a staff member that this is their process). At some point, some of the monies was lost in the inventory process. The facility told her they found a small fraction of her cash with her belongings however nothing close to what she had. As someone who is employed in healthcare, best practice states that when a patient arrives with their belongings, the belongings are inventoried at the bedside with the patient present. Cash is counted with the denomination noted in the electronic health record, as well as other belongings (i.e., clothes, purse, etc.). Either the personnel belongings reside in the room with the patient if requested, or they can be sent home witn family or they can be logged into the safe in admitting. The belongings are inventoried for a second time before going to the safe. All items are placed in a secure bag and a copy of the record of items is kept in the patient chart. The RN or Nurses Aide can retrieve the items from the safe upon discharge. Upon discharge, the patient signs for their items after the inventoried items are assessed and returned. In addition, home medications are logged into the safe using the same process (if a loved one or family member cannot take them home). Narcotics are counted before placing them into a secure bag and recounted before returning them to the patient. I understand that policies and procedures differ from facility to facility however the belongings should at the very least be reviewed with the patient and in the patients presence. Again, this should be considered as a best practice to implement. It protects both the patient and the facility.
